Trevlig lyssning!

Been looking forward to this episodes - The Odd Birds, a local OC band that just released a new album, called "Tremolo Heart" - and a lot of great songs are on this effort, and you can acquire this album from their website theodbirds.com - These two are really fun to talk to.
In demand actor, 7 time winner of the Teen Choice Award, and avid birder? Ian Harding is best known for his work on the Freeform network's teen-drama Pretty Little Liars, but in his new memoir Odd Birds he talks about how birds and birding have provided him with opportunities to find peace and focus in a life in the public eye. Ian joins host Nate Swick to share some stories from his new book and thoughts on what it could mean for birding to have such a high-profile advocate. This interview originally ran on June 29, 2017. Also, Birding editor Ted Floyd shares a commentary about the magic of birding in the mundaneness of regular life. This commentary originally ran on September 7, 2017. On this episode I’m talking about taking a break from high school class to grab a beer, calling your Mom to say that you’re leaving a 9 to 5 job, garnishes, glassware, and more with Josue Romero. You can find Josue @the_garnishguy, and he also works at Odd Birds down in St. Augustine, Florida. Hope you all enjoy, cheers folks. Bill chats with actor/birder Ian Harding, star of the television show “Pretty Little Liars,” about his new book “Odd Birds.” In the book, Ian writes about everything from Hollywood stardom and chasing the rare California condor to the allure of Juliette Binoche. This Hollywood teen idol is not only a true birder, he's also wonderfully down-to-earth. Episode 70 also features Ian reading from “Odd Birds.”

Just as an experiment, I recorded the whole show while live streaming it in Second Life. No SL-specific content, but maybe someday soon. Gotta figure out Skype for that yet. I explained what happened with the feed, and some of you getting a whole lot of old episodes with your usual. Funny story... well, maybe not funny. One of those mistakes I figured out after it'd all happened. Sorry about that. Started playing from the stack of promos for Podiobooks.com. The books are still there, so the promos are for existing books, just not the most recent ones. First one was one of my own, "Flatland." Talked about the upcoming new album from The Raventones, and played a song from their last album Odd Birds at the end, "White Crosses." Show Theme "Hot Swing" from Kevin MacLeod of Incompetech.com. Libraries always have their odd bird patrons. Flocks of them, usually. Ours was no exception. Presented for your consideration today are five tales of such in-the-wild encounters with odd bird patrons, and/or tales featuring some cussin'. That's right, it's the All Cussin' Episode (#$%& yeah!) with nary a censor tone to be found and Explicit right on the Tag. Fire it up for Grandma!
