On Saturday April 18th, 2020 as part of the Gazelli Connect initiative and ahead of their participation in the online exhibition 'Borders', we welcomed artist duo Aziz + Cucher for a live conversation on our Instagram channel. Working together for the past two decades, Aziz + Cucher's work explores concerns around technology and the effect that global unrest may have on the human body and consciousness. Working in digital imaging, sculpture, animation, and video-installation the duo often create painterly work using new media. ⠀
Hello folks, On Saturday April 18th I had the opportunity to play a 1,5 hour live set during a virtual Trance party called Trance Experience at Home. It's the new reality since all events are cancelled due to Covid-19 measures but luckily we still can share the music we love with each other via a great variety of streaming platforms. Besides a lot of edits I premiered no less than seven (!) new mashups in this mix. Enjoy and stay safe!
On Saturday April 25, 2020 we celebrated a friends birthday. With the world still on "lockdown" the party had to be virtual. Liz decided to not cancel her birthday bash and instead host it on line using IG Live. The rest as they say is history! This mix represents some of the tracks played last night and a few that were on the list, but couldn't fit in to the 2 plus hours we partied :-) This was seriously one of the best parties we had been to in a while. This is a snippet from Breaking Walls Episode 91: The Hollywood Radio Western Renaissance (1954 - 1980). ————— After Have Gun, Will Travel went off the air in November of 1960 and production of Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, and the revived Suspense had shifted to New York, Gunsmoke was the last prime time radio drama originating from Hollywood. The end was near. On Saturday April 29th, 1961, the Gunsmoke crew gathered for the last time to record episodes for the series. They did not know the show was to be cancelled. The final episode aired on June 18th, 1961. Although Gunsmoke’s TV version with its different crew aired into the mid 1970s, the most influential radio western of the last decade of the Golden Age was over. There was now no network dramatic radio originating from Hollywood. If there is a silver lining, its that because Gunsmoke came to radio in 1952 after transcription became wide-spread, many episodes exist today in good to master quality. A new listener can begin with the first episode, “Billy the Kid” and listen straight through. The following year, on September 30th, 1962, CBS cancelled Johnny Dollar and Suspense. The network would have no dramatic shows in their programming block until 1974.

Nathan has qualified for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery in St-Louis to reduce the amount of spasticity (stiffnesss) in his muscles and allow him to move more freely without pain.
