In today's Daily Fix:Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has seen a "live playthrough" of The Elder Scrolls 6, and she teased not only the "scale and grandeur," but also the game's possible subtitle. She censored it with eight asterisks, which sent the internet into a frenzy trying to decode what it could possibly mean — likely a location, as is the trend with previous entries like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In other news, Ghost of Yōtei is getting a new expansion as part of a Complete Edition. The new story content, Echoes of Sekigahara, will be accompanied by a new survival mode. EA Sports has reversed course and taken out unpopular singleplayer microtransactions from College Football 27 thanks to backlash from their own content creator network. Xbox lays off most of iD Software, including many long time employees with deep institutional knowledge, and then says that the team is the same size as it was 10 years ago and this is good, actually. Bethesda's employee union is protesting the layoffs, especially considering some employees who had been with the company for decades were laid off. Then we talk to OLR about game collecting in this new era of digital-only distribution.

If you are looking for a review of the odyssey, you wont find it here, but we have other exciting news. Like Disney cuts Pixar staff, even after making a billion dollars. Or Is Nintendo justified in telling consumers to stuff it after tariff refunds? PlayStation ain't budging on ditching discs, and some sales numbers back them up. But hey, at least we got a trailer for Avengers Doomsday!

Bethesda lays out its plans for Fallout and The Elder Scrolls! Cliff Bleszinski says alcoholism derailed his career, reviews of Denshattack! and The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a remake of the first Resident Evil is coming, and more!

Many will see it as a deflection from the bigger problem, and perhaps it is for XBOX, but the reality is, Bethesda essentially confirmed their major franchise slate for the foreseeable future. Starfield is still getting content, and Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas remasters are real; The Obsidian Fallout game is also confirmed, Fallout 5 is officially in pre-production but is still coming after Elder Scrolls VI. Does this really do anything for Sean and Marc with all these games coming at some point? Also, there's further evidence at least from the United States side of why Sony has gone this NO DISC route, and even Gamestop calls them irrelevant. Do we still believe this could be turned back?
