Cuyamungue Institute: Conversation 4 Exploration. Laura Lee Show
A maze of man-made chambers, walls and ceremonial meeting places, named America's Stonehenge is most likely the oldest man-made construction in the United States (over 4000 years old). Like Stonehenge in England, America's Stonehenge was built by ancient people well versed in astronomy and stone construction. It has been determined that the site is an accurate astronomical calendar. It was, and still can be, used to determine specific solar and lunar events of the year. Various inscriptions have been found throughout the site including Ogham, Phoenician and Iberian Punic Script. Dr. Barry Fell of Harvard University did extensive work on the inscriptions found at the site. They are detailed in his book America B.C.From the Archives: This live interview was recorded on February 7, 2002 on the nationally syndicated radio program, hosted by Laura Lee . MATT ADAMS joins us for a discussion of the enigmatic stone chambers of the northeast. Much of our talk will focus on Matt's recent study of a previously undocumented chamber. Was this a late pre-Contact structure or an early Colonial building? If it is Colonial, were the celestial alignments accidental or intentional? We will also examine some of Matt's other investigations in the NY and New England area. What about these sites holds an interest for him as well as why do they generate such awe for us today? Matt will review his research methods and other conclusions from his investigations. We look forward to Matt's debut on "Night-Light."https://www.nehssie.com

DENNIS STONE joins Mark and Barbara to discuss his property AMERICA'S STONEHENGE. Some of the earliest professionally done, radiocarbon dating put the early stages of construction of this site in New Hampshire at about 2000 BC. It fits in well with the Late Archaic period. Do the alignments suggests the Archaic peoples were more astute astronomers than previously thought? There is a pattern of measurements that indicate the use of the Megalithic Yard. Does this unit of length indicate Old World visitors, but peoples in Central America were using the same unit of measurement at the same time. Do we need to reinterpret the site as being founded by a culture from the southern hemisphere? We can't be conclusive since no human bones have been found. Tune in and listen to us try to understand this prehistoric enigma.http://stonehengeusa.com
Mark and Barbara have covered a couple of the ancient cultures from the Great Lakes region. This week, we will move our prehistoric studies to the southern states. DR. We will be reviewing the 5000 years of spiritual, mortuary and artistic evolution across the Gulf Coast that culminated in the flourishing Mississippian culture from about 1000 A.D. Dr. Little will also cover stone chambers and walls. Giants and UFO's and new trends in publishing. www.Apmagazine.info
