Send us a textWow, it's almost a year since I have done a podcast...hard to believe...what a joy!Thank you so much for tuning in; I hope this finds you well and enjoying life, even with all it's insanities...This episode grew out of my meeting Shawn Buckley - lawyer and organizer extraordinaire - at NCI- National Citizen's Inquiry. He has done an excellent job there along with his wife Theresa and Ted Kuntz (see an early episode on Dr Heather Uncensored) and so many others...it is SO exciting to know this organization exists. I spoke at the event held in Edmonton in March. That conference was titled Are Children Safe in Canada? As an expert witness I spoke on The Flexner Report of 1910 and how that has sabotaged our right to a full spectrum of healthcare. There were many others over that 3 day, 12 hour event...People like the hockey play Fleury spoke on sexual abuse by his coach; First Nation elders spoke on human trafficking; a mother who lost her daughter to a Covid vaccine, and so many more...The next NCI is in June in Ontario. Go to nationalcitizensinquiry.orgI trust you will enjoy this first episode in almost a year! Welcome back and I wish you all the blessings you can experience, and truth always...xoSupport the show#Medicalfreedom #Canadaontheedge #HealthCanada #CanadaLaw #TrueHope #truth #apocaloptimist #transformingtrauma #grief #grievingdeeply #homeopathy #loveheals #naturopathicmedicine #druglessmedicine #energymedicine #expressiveartsheal #empoweredvoices #knowledgeispower #singtohealthyroids #erasetoxiclegacies #peaceispossibleBooks: Transforming Trauma, a drugless and creative path to healing PTS and ACE is published by Hammersmith Books is available globally. OVERVIEWPower, heart rate, or RPE (rate of perceived exertion or how you feel)? Which data point is best for gauging intensity during training or a race, and which is best for monitoring training progress? The Oilers continued their playoff surge with a 4-2 comeback win over Vegas in Game 1, led by Corey Perry’s momentum-shifting goal and dominant second-period play. The Leafs also took Game 1 against Florida, though controversy surrounds the unpenalized hit by Sam Bennett that concussed goalie Anthony Stolarz. Huge weekend Game 7s saw Winnipeg stun St. Louis with a buzzer-beater and double OT winner, while Dallas mounted a third-period comeback to eliminate Colorado, giving coach Pete DeBoer a record ninth straight Game 7 win. The LA Kings parted ways with GM Rob Blake after repeated playoff exits. Meanwhile, Crosby, MacKinnon, and Fleury are all set to join Team Canada at the World Championships in Sweden.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Destination And Subject: Kyle Dubas and Pittsburgh Penguins Commence Head Coach Search 05/05/25Rick Tocchet, David Carle, and others have been widely discussed as candidates to fill the vacancy Mike Sullivan left when he departed the Steel City. Jeff Taylor and Jordan DeFigio have at least one warm-to-hot take as to who might fit the bill behind the Pittsburgh Penguins' bench, especially while the team undergoes its nearly inevitable transitionary period.Sidney Crosby's agent, Pat Brisson told Pierre LeBrun this weekend that his client would be traveling to Sweden to participate in the IIHF Men's World Championships. What's more, Crosby's longtime teammate and dear friend Marc André Fleury will be making the trip as well, representing Team Canada alongside his old captain.Sid won't be Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia's sole ambassador in the tournament, though. Nathan McKinnon, newly unoccupied as his Avalanche were eliminated from contention in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, will dress beside Crosby and Fleury in Canada's locker room.WARNING This episode contains samples of Dr. Claw's voice. We're celebrating a huge milestone with Episode 300 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, and a future first ballot Hall of Fame guest in Marc-Andre Fleury. In the feature interview presented by NHL Sense Arena, Fleury shares advice and insights from a 22-season career that began as the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NHL Draft, and finishes second all-time to only Martin Brodeur in games played (1,051) and wins (575), third behind Brodeur and Roberto Luongo in saves (27,188), tied with Ed Belfour and Tony Esposito for 10th in shutouts (76), and as well liked as any goalie to play the game. The three-time Stanley Cup winner has advice for young goalies hoping to follow a path filled with entertaining pokechecks, pad stacks, and the signature smile to match the ones that he put on so the face of so many fans.In the Parent Segment, presented by Stop It Goaltending U the App, we continue the celebratory theme with a look back at some of our favourite advice from past guests, whether it was Roberto Luongo in Episode 1 or Eric Comrie and Connor Hellebuyck making it okay for goalies of all ages to improve their edges at public skates. We also review this week's Pro Reads, presented by Vizual Edge, which features Joey Daccord of the Seattle Kraken breaking down a high tip option and some of the positional and skating keys to best manage it.And in our weekly gear segment, we go to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports to look at the new Warrior Ritual X5 chest protector -- both the Pro and RTL models -- with a new camo-themed look and some exciting new features.
