In this episode, Will, Tony & Scott try to figure out what happened with Georgia as they barely defeated FCS team, Nicholls State 26-24 at Sanford Stadium on 09/10/16. Interesting, there were similar parallels between this game and the 2001 Tennessee/Georgia game, a game made famous from Larry Munson's legendary call, titled "The Hob-Nailed Boot" game. The game play was not similar, but what was similar was the final score, 26-24 and that is not a very common final score in football. But the fact that both games featured a coach in his first season (Mark Richt in 2001 & Kirby Smart in 2016), a freshman starting QB (David Greene in 2001 & Jacob Eason in 2016) and a trusted RB to seal the victory (Verron Haynes caught the winning TD pass in 2001 & Nick Chubb helped the Dawgs run out the clock to preserve the victory in 2016). Not completely similar, but fun to think about nonetheless. If you're an Arkansas fan, you'll love Tony's take on Bret's crazy coaching ways in his recap of their victory over TCU.
