Now that the transfer portal dust has settled, University of Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope came up 0 for 15 in high profile recruits. Nada. Zilch. Zero. The Beasman ain't having it. People are calling Coach Pope "Ken Whiffey Jr" and other derisive terms like "Taylor Whiff" and a cameo sighting in "Breakfast at Whiffany's."Beasman is done messing with human players. A.I. will create the next set of Kentucky Wildcats.
Vinny Hardy, of the Bleav in Kentucky Podcast, joined The Drive to give a feel for how confident UK fans are in landing top recruit Tyran Stokes.
The Drive opened the show explaining how in recent drafts the Chiefs have failed hit a home run, and how this last draft must be different.

The United States Men's Hockey team won gold for only the third time in Winter Olympics history Sunday. The 2-1 OT win caps an incredible Olympics for the US men's and women's teams. The Auburn Tigers found themselves on Joe Lunardi's NCAA Tournament cut line Saturday morning, that was one of the stories leading into their game with the Kentucky Wildcats, making it feel even more impactful. Auburn Basketball fought from behind in the second half to secure a 75-74 win and break a five game losing skid. The game was not without controversy on both sides as Kentucky Basketball was the beneficiary of two questionable fouls at the end of the first half while Auburn benefited from a call at the end of the game. It was the final call that had Mark Pope steaming after his news conference. The Alabama Crimson Tide got a 90-83 road win at LSU Saturday. Alabama Basketball had five players in double figures en route to the win. This came on the heels of Alabama being left out of the NCAA selection committee's top 16 teams. Committee co-chair Martin Newton indicated Alabama and Arkansas are just on the outside looking in. The NCAA Selection Committee released their Top 16 seeds just before Saturday's games. Only Florida and Vanderbilt were an-momma the 16, yet KenPom has the SEC still rated as the best conference in the nation. Which is more accurate?
