Brandon Shintani is a high school sophomore out of Ridgewood High School in New Jersey but his story in business is nothing short of amazing and empowering. At the young age of 16, he is the CEO and founder of Mind Design Sports (link). Awarded and recognized as a top 20 sports psychology website by Feedspot, the brand is dedicated to empowering young athletes and the psychology needed to stay consistent with sports and business. Allan Houston is a former NBA player, current entrepreneur, and his spent his fair share of years continually elevating himself in a number of areas. After a dominate college career at the University of Tennessee, Houston would be drafted to the Detroit Pistons in 1993. Soon after, he would later become a 2x NBA All-Star for the New York Knicks where he would be known as one of the dominate players in Knicks history which included helping the Knicks make a NBA Finals run in 1999. Wade Houston is an entrepreneur and businessman from Alcoa, Tennessee with a legendary background. In 1962, he became one of the first three African-American players to sign to play basketball at the University of Louisville. In 1989, he became the first African-American coach not only at the University of Tennessee but the entire Southeastern Conference(SEC). When he fully retired in 94' from coaching, he finally committed himself to his original goal of business and has not looked back since creating several businesses along with his wife Alice and their family. But one of the most important things he learned along the way was his passion to serve others and having strong faith which has not dwindled down yet. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Randall Woodfin knew one thing before he got into politics. From a young age, Woodfin was around enough influences that made him realize he needed to make a difference in the city he grew up in.
