In May 2015, we started a church in the centre of Camden called Hope and Anchor Community Church. It is a church for the people of Camden, tourists and residents alike, and it seeks to create a community of believers who can see the streets of Camden transformed. Hope and Anchor Community Church has a heart to put the body of Christ above the structure of religious services. It also seeks to reach out to the people of Camden, to help meet needs that they have, rather than being an insulated body that is primary concerned with itself.

This New Year's Eve, join us to be reminded what leaving behind 2023 is all about. This was a year of pruning, of God cutting away the old. While this can be uncomfortable, it's important to look back at the grace of God's yesterday, so that we can look forward to the grace of God's tomorrow. We're pruned for the sake of receiving the new of God: what in our lives are we looking to dress up more like Christ in the new year? And remember, end the year in thankfulness. Thank God for what He's pruned, how He's matured you, and for what newness He's bringing in the new year. Jesus provides NEW GRACE for us to stand firm in each season, while commanding us to leave His old grace behind. Did you know that God's grace expires? Like the sick man by the pool called Bethesda, God will provide grace and covering over us for each season. However, when we stay under the covering of old grace for to long, it becomes a place of sickness and death. As you enter the new season, will you remain in old grace, in a place of squalor and decay? Or are you ready to take the hand of Jesus and walk out of His old grace, into the new season with Him by your side?
