We are all faced with many choices on a day to day basis. Some of those decisions have small implications; others have much larger ones. In this episode we discuss how to make decisions and avoid the trap of indecisive paralysis.DISCLAIMER: this episode was recorded on my phone as opposed to the microphone I normally use. There are moments in life that break us and moments that remake us. Mo Isom Aiken's story is one of both. From an Elite Division 1, All-American athlete to a woman haunted by trauma, addiction, and suicidal despair, Mo's life took a dramatic turn when a near-fatal car crash became the very altar where heaven met earth. What followed was a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit that not only saved her life, but ignited a transformation so complete it would ripple through her marriage, her motherhood, and her mission around the world. This isn't just a story of redemption. It's a call to awaken to the invisible spiritual warfare waging over every soul—and to the freedom that comes with surrendering everything. In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer sits down with Mo Isom Aiken for an unfiltered, deeply moving conversation that spans trauma, healing, and the raw power of a life fully yielded to Jesus. Mo opens up about growing up in the Bible Belt, navigating father wounds and performance-based identity, and the spiritual warfare that nearly claimed her life. Together, they explore Mo's radical encounter with God in the wreckage of her Jeep, the prophetic call that led her family from a fifth-wheel RV across 48 states to the mission fields of Nigeria, and the power of intercession that reshaped her view of prayer entirely. This episode is for the believer who feels stuck in cycles of shame or silence, the seeker longing to hear God's voice again, or the weary warrior who needs to remember what it means to defect from the kingdom of darkness and live fully alive in Christ. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Gain deeper understanding of how a supernatural encounter with God can occur amidst unimaginable personal tragedy.Learn how radical obedience—like selling everything and living in an RV—can unlock divine provision and spiritual growth.Reflect on the importance of prayer, spiritual warfare, and intimacy with the Holy Spirit in a chaotic world.Become Part of Our Mission! That lie keeps us stuck, powerless, and numb to God's call.Cultural Christianity is an illusion; we should consider what full surrender actually looks like.Mo Isom Aiken, a former All-American athlete turned revivalist and prophetic voice shares her story of defection from darkness—and the fire of obedience that followed.[02:56] Mo Isom Aiken: Childhood and Early LifeMo discovered her identity through competitive sports.Despite being raised in a Christian household, her faith was cultural and lacked deep personal roots. She describes the impact of early exposure to pornography and the pressure of performance-based love from her father. Her struggle with an eating disorder and need for control remained hidden behind a mask of success.[12:22] Transition to College and Personal StrugglesAt LSU, Mo excels as an All-American goalkeeper but continues battling inward brokenness.[13:02] Mo: “How much of my true self and my true life can people handle? Because they have this picture of me, and yet I am destroyed inside.”Her father committed suicide, devastating Mo both emotionally and spiritually. She turns to sexual sin, secrecy, and self-harm, wrestling with suicidal thoughts and tormenting spiritual voices.Though publicly praised, she describes living with private torment and deep spiritual oppression.[20:54] Spiritual Awakening and HealingMo survives a violent car crash and has a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit while trapped in the wreckage. She describes the weight and wonder of God's presence as overwhelming yet freeing.[22:58] Mo: “The kingdom of darkness was literally mad because things had been set up in my life that my gifts, my talents, my destiny, my anointing, my very God, given fingerprint of God, purpose was going to be leveraged for evil was going to advance the kingdom of darkness, if not for the mercy of Jesus”In that moment, she chooses full surrender to Jesus and receives a baptism of fire. Her salvation marks a clear defection from darkness into God's Kingdom—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.[28:20] Recognizing God in the Midst of DarknessMo reflects on how God pursued her even during seasons of rebellion and bondage. She shares a deliverance session where a spirit confessed she had “defected” from its kingdom. The conversation highlights how spiritual warfare is strategic and real—but God's grace is more powerful.Mo encourages listeners to stop excusing bondage and fully embrace the invitation to be made whole.[33:22] Impact of Faith on Personal RelationshipsReturning to campus, Mo feels conviction and begins separating from old friends and sinful patterns. She committed herself to purity and obedience, even when it meant facing rejection and isolation.[39:07] Mo: “But if you won't separate yourselves from the ones who are holding you back from your destiny — then you've tightly gripped something God's asking you to open your hands about right? When you open your hands, when you let go of things, He will then, in time, refill what is His good portion.”Through FCA, she found a godly community, received a baptism at LSU, and experienced revival.A two-year intimacy fast sets the stage for meeting her husband, Jeremiah, and building a Christ-centered family.[46:45] Fifth Wheel Missions and Family LifeMo recalls receiving a prophetic word in college about living in a fifth-wheel RV and going on mission.A decade later, she and Jeremiah sell everything and travel the U.S. with their four kids, sharing the gospel. She shares how moments of humor and hardship—like a sewage overflow—shaped their faith and resilience. The RV season prepared them for deeper obedience and future international missions.[56:44] Mission to Nigeria and Angelic VisitMo recounts a dream where an angel tells her she'll go to Nigeria to forge a deeper connection to the divine.Initially resistant due to fear for her children, she surrenders and receives confirmation from her mentors. The family spent eight months in Lagos serving under Nigerian spiritual leaders.Their time becomes a season of discipleship, humility, and spiritual equipping for future ministry.[1:14:19] The Power of Prayer: Greatest Takeaway from NigeriaMo describes prayer as the single greatest lesson from their mission season. In Nigeria, daily prayer was non-negotiable—fostering spiritual strength, wisdom, and breakthrough. She challenges Western believers to move prayer from a fallback to a foundation.Prayer, she emphasizes, is the gateway to discernment, power, and intimacy with God.[1:21:24] Teaching the Next Generation to Prioritize PrayerMo and Reagan discuss the difficulty of maintaining a prayerful life amid Western busyness and distractions.Mo explains how she and Jeremiah are raising their children to see prayer as essential, not optional. They commit to resisting hustle culture and modeling devotion in everyday life.Mo calls for prayer warriors to arise—those who walk in reverence, not performance. [1:32:39] Spiritual Warfare and the Call to Live Fully SurrenderedMo prays a powerful blessing over listeners for renewal, healing, and sanctification.Revival begins in surrendered hearts, not just pulpits; it is in living God's Word to be kind and loving to all those around you.It is our time to live fully awake, defecting from darkness and advancing God's Kingdom with boldness. About Mo Isom AikenMo Isom Aiken is a prophetic voice, revivalist, and bestselling author whose life and ministry are marked by radical obedience, spiritual boldness, and supernatural transformation. A former all-American goalkeeper at LSU, Mo encountered the living God in a near-fatal car accident that became a divine turning point. From the ashes of trauma, addiction, and loss—including her father's suicide—Mo rose into deep intimacy with Jesus and a calling to call others out of darkness and into the light. With more than 14 years of experience speaking, teaching, and discipling, Mo now carries a powerful anointing for deliverance, prayer, and spiritual awakening.Alongside her husband Jeremiah and their four children, Mo lives as part of a family on mission—mobilizing across America in a fifth-wheel RV before being prophetically sent to Nigeria through an angelic encounter. Their journey is a living testimony of surrendered faith, courageous intercession, and generational restoration. We are losing sight of the simplicity of the gospel message, and we've got to get back to the basics. In this episode, Jackie and Preston discuss why it is that we don't focus enough on Jesus' redemptive work on the cross. Our sin is a big reason. We forget about God's wrath and why we need to be saved in the first place. We get caught up in a works-based idea of sanctification. The truth of the gospel becomes uninteresting as we seek greater understanding or deeper knowledge. We can also go through the spiritual disciplines – like time in the Word or prayer – without truly abiding in Christ. All of these scenarios overcomplicate our view of the cross, and it's time we talk about it.This Episode is Sponsored By: https://fieldofgreens.com — Get 20% off and free shipping with code PERRY at checkout! https://weekendtoremember.com — Get $100 off when you use code PERRY at checkout! Series: 1 John: That You May KnowPreacher: Pastor Anson McMahonThis sermon from 1 John 2:15-17 provides a crucial examination of the Christian's relationship with the world. Anson powerfully unpacks the seemingly paradoxical command to "not love the world," carefully distinguishing this from a hatred of people or creation. Instead, he illuminates "the world" as a Satan-influenced system of values and desires that stand in opposition to God. Through a detailed exploration of the "devil's trinity" – the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life – the sermon reveals the core temptations that lure believers away from a life devoted to God. Ultimately, it contrasts the fleeting nature of worldly satisfaction with the eternal significance of loving and obeying God, urging listeners to choose a path of lasting value.Key Points:The Command Against Worldly Love: An explanation of 1 John 2:15 and the call for believers to resist loving the world and its allurements.Defining "The World" Biblically: Clarification that "the world" in this context refers to a system of values opposed to God, not people or the created order. The "Devil's Trinity" of Worldly Temptations:The Desires of the Flesh (Lust of the Flesh): The pursuit of immediate, sensory gratification that disregards God's will. The Desires of the Eyes (Lust of the Eyes): The temptation towards materialism and coveting based on visual appeal and societal trends. The Pride of Life: The arrogant self-sufficiency that rejects dependence on God and seeks validation through worldly success. The Transitory Nature of Worldly Pleasures: An emphasis on the temporary and ultimately unsatisfying nature of sin and worldly pursuits compared to eternal joy in God.Choosing a Love with Eternal Significance: A strong encouragement to prioritize loving and obeying God, investing in what has lasting value beyond the fleeting nature of the world.Reflect & Discuss:In what specific ways do you see the "desires of the flesh," "desires of the eyes," and "pride of life" manifesting in our culture today? How can believers practically distinguish between enjoying God's creation and loving the world's system? What are some areas in your own life where you might be tempted to love the world or the things in the world more than God?How does understanding the temporary nature of the world impact your priorities and decisions as a Christian?Discuss practical steps you can take to cultivate a greater love for God and resist the allure of the world.Scripture:1 John 2:15-17Genesis 3:62 Samuel 11:2-4Joshua 7:20-21Proverbs 27:201 Timothy 6:9-10John 12:42-432 Timothy 3:2-4John 3:16Psalm 24:1Genesis 2:9James 1:14-15Proverbs 14:12Hebrews 11:25Matthew 16:26John 15:18-191 John 5:19Colossians 3:2Philippians 3:20Keywords:Love, World, Worldliness, Desires of the Flesh, Lust of the Flesh, Desires of the Eyes, Lust of the Eyes, Pride of Life, Temptation, Sin, Eternal Life, Temporary, Values, Culture, God, Obedience, Discipleship.

One of the biggest FAQs I receive weekly is how to tackle tough sexuality topics with our kids–one of the chief of which is pornography. Parents feel ill-equipped to handle this in an age-appropriate way. And yet, the world is more than eager to fill in the gaps and give our children images and words that aren't appropriate for any age. In this episode, we tackle practical ways to equip parents with the tools they need to confidently address issues like what to do when being shown explicit images on a phone by a friend or family member, how to react when taunted by peers about sexual purity, and so much more. Be encouraged you are not alone in this fight and that your voice and guidance are crucial to helping your kids successfully navigate the murky waters of sexual temptation.Guest Info:Greta Eskridge - MaAndPaModernOrder Her Book Now: It's Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn (Available Wherever Books Are Sold)Visit Her Website: Gretaeskridge.comSponsor Info:Summit MinistriesFind Out More About Summit Here!Use This Link For $400 Off Summit Registration (Before March 31st)Voetberg Music AcademyCheck Out Voetberg Music Academy HereCode: misformama20Bible References:1 Peter 3:15Genesis 50:20Genesis 1:28Daniel 1:12-16Proverbs 24:11Genesis 39:7-20Galatians 5:22-23James 1:5Matthew 5:28Psalm 139:24Psalm 119:57Philippians 4:10-11John 10:10John 1:7Ephesians 6:13-17Links:The Gentleness ChallengePenny Reward SystemPaint & ProseM Is for MamaPenny Reward System

From the beginning of time, a war has raged over humanity—one that seeks to distort, defile, and ultimately sever our connection to God. The Fallen Sons of God abandoned their divine purpose, descending to earth and corrupting its people through deception and genetic manipulation. Their offspring, the Nephilim, were more than just giants of old; they embodied an agenda to erase the image of God from humanity. Though their physical presence faded, their influence remains—woven into the fabric of our world through mind control and ideological deception. But darkness does not have the final say. In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer welcomes back Dr. Laura Sanger, a researcher, author, speaker, and clinical psychologist with a deep passion for awakening people to the spiritual battle at hand. Together, they dive into the spiritual war between the sons of God and the forces of darkness, tracing its origins from biblical times to its modern-day manifestations. They discuss the erosion of biblical truth, the dangers of gender ideology, transhumanism, and the corrupt systems that seek to enslave future generations. Whether you're new to these concepts or looking to equip yourself for the days ahead, this conversation will challenge and inspire you to step into your identity as a son or daughter of God.Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Learn the hidden truths behind the Nephilim agenda and how it impacts our world todayGain practical insights on how to rise up as a son or daughter of God, equipped with spiritual authority to combat these dark forces.Reflect on the urgency of spiritual maturity and the call to live a victorious life aligned with God's truth in perilous times.Become Part of Our Mission! Her books, The Roots of the Federal Reserve and Generation Hoodwinked uncover deep-seated deceptions designed to enslave humanity.A recent gathering at Blurry Con provided an opportunity to reconnect with like-minded individuals and reaffirm the urgency of exposing these dark forces.[5:28] Dr. Laura's Vision and MissionA dream and vision she had in May 2020 led to the title Generation Hoodwinked, revealing a world where AI and spiritual oppression silence the voices of future generations. In the vision, Jesus led Dr. Sanger into an underground cavern where children were trapped in cages, symbolizing the control systems designed to enslave them. The Nephilim agenda thrives on deception, and exposing it is essential to breaking its power.Ephesians 5:11 and 2 Timothy 4:3-4 serve as guiding scriptures in this mission, urging believers to stand against false doctrines and wake up to the battle at hand.[11:43] The Battle of the Sons of GodLong ago, the Fallen Sons of God abandoned their heavenly domain, descending to corrupt humanity and unleash the Nephilim agenda.Their goal was to defile the human genome and stage an insurrection against God's divine order.Though Jesus secured victory through His death and resurrection, the war still rages in the spiritual realm. The need for God-fearing believers to rise up has never been greater, as deception seeks to strip humanity of its divine identity.Spiritual warfare is not passive—strongholds must be torn down, and the authority of Christ must be wielded with boldness.[15:38] Defining the Sons of GodNot all believers walk in the full authority of the Sons of God.Romans 8:14 states that those led by the Spirit are the true sons, yet many remain trapped in self-reliance rather than surrendering to divine direction.Cultural norms encourage independence, but spiritual maturity requires complete dependence on Jesus.Obedience to the Holy Spirit is the mark of a true Son of God, distinguishing those who move in divine authority from those merely going through the motions of faith.[20:28] Laura: “Sons of God are not their own person. They don't make their own decisions. They are fully surrendered to the Father's will.”The invitation to step into sonship is available to all—but it requires a willingness to follow God without hesitation.[27:13] Mixture and SyncretismThe mixing of truth with deception opens doors to bondage, preventing believers from being led by the soul rather than the Spirit.Operating from the soul—through emotions and human reasoning—rather than the Spirit leads to misguided intentions, no matter how well-meaning.Syncretism, the blending of Christian faith with pagan influences, is rampant in modern culture, from Halloween celebrations to the normalization of ideologies that distort God's design.Spiritual purity demands discernment, and the removal of compromise is essential to living victoriously in Christ.[30:12] Laura: “The Fallen sons of God, they mix their seed with human seed to birth the Nephilim. And so giving room to mixture, what that does is that allows us to take the bait that causes many of us to become hoodwinked”[36:28] The Nephilim Agenda and TransgenderismA systematic effort to erase human identity is at play, progressing from transgender ideology to full-scale transhumanism.Dr. Laura describes how this movement is being fueled by the United Nations and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE).She highlights the harmful effects of CSE on children, including promoting sexual stimulation and normalizing bestiality. The long-term effects of puberty blockers and gender-affirming surgeries on children's development and mental health are not acts of liberation but of enslavement[48:04] The Impact of Media and TechnologyMedia and technology are not just entertainment but tools of indoctrination.Future Humans for example, a bestselling children's book, subtly introduces transhumanist ideals by showcasing technological modifications.Movies, music, and television shows create fantasies that reinforce the allure of enhanced abilities, steering the next generation toward a post-human reality. The Nephilim agenda thrives on deception; its end goal is to wipe out humanity and cut at the heart of the Kingdom of God.[50:50] Laura: “The Nephilim agenda is really about defiling the human genome so much that we can't have relationship with Jesus anymore”[52:48] The Role of the Sons of God in Spiritual WarfareThe Sons of God are warriors, called to push back the forces of darkness with unwavering faith. The Hebrew phrase Rak Chazak Amats embodies the strength and courage required to stand in battle.Dr. Laura highlights the importance of the Sons of God in arising and maturing to become heirs of God and walking in their inheritance. As deception intensifies, Dr Laura encourages listeners to find Jesus in the secret place to develop an intimate relationship and learn His voice.[1:05:54] Practical Steps to Become a Son or Daughter of GodVictory begins in the secret place, where intimacy with Jesus is cultivated.Dr Laura emphasizes the importance of distinguishing between the true Holy Spirit and false voices in the church and media.Recognizing this requires deep connection with the True Shepherd, and daily communion with Him to ensure that fear and deception lose their grip.As the episode closes, Dr. Laura prays for listeners, asking for protection, boldness, and the empowerment to walk as Sons of God in a world desperately in need of truth.About Laura SangerDr. Laura Sanger is a researcher, author, speaker, and clinical psychologist dedicated to equipping believers with the knowledge and spiritual tools needed to navigate the unseen battle against darkness. Fear is something we all face, whether it's about our finances, health, family, or simply the unknown. In this message, we dive into the nature of fear and explore God's most frequent command in the Bible: “Do not be afraid.”Through passages like Isaiah 41:10 and John 14:27, we discover that the reason we don't need to fear isn't that life isn't hard or scary, but because God is with us. He offers His strength, His presence, and His peace to overcome our anxieties.Join us as we reflect on the truth that fear is not just a struggle—it can also reveal a lack of trust in God's presence and power. But the good news is that God has given us His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to conquer fear and live confidently in His love.Key Scriptures:Isaiah 41:8-10John 14:26-27If this message encouraged you, please share it with someone who might need it. Don't let fear hold you back—reach out to someone in our church family or a trusted friend if you need prayer or support.

“Ironically, in suffering I've found the presence of Jesus in a way that is delightful… not in exuberant rejoicing, but in quietly being held, supported, and lifted up when I have nothing left to give.”Your heavenly Father delights in you even when you are at your lowest. In your pain, your heartache, your sorrow and your disappointment… yes, even there, you are wanted and wildly loved. Friend, you don't have to hide or hold back until you don't feel like a burden. You don't have to wait until you're only feeling joyful in order to talk to God. We have a Savior who promises to be near to the brokenhearted, and He longs to hear your lament. In fact, it brings Him joy to come near to you, to work in you, and to work through you.The episode ends with a beautiful prayer, and throughout we talk about the goodness available to us right here and right now (not just one day in heaven!) even in the middle of great suffering, but at the beginning we want you to know: When things are hard, when things fall apart, when you feel burdened by the diagnosis or the endless to-dos or a broken relationship… there is hope, and Hope is holding you in your sorrow.P.S. Don't miss Hannah's powerful story about a prayer that changed her life. Today we'll answer the question, “What does God really think about women?” Culture often says biblical Christianity demeans, diminishes women - but is that true? For some churches, it is.--The PursueGOD Truth podcast is the “easy button” for making disciples – whether you're looking for resources to lead a family devotional, a small group at church, or a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Join us for new episodes every Tuesday and Friday. Find resources to talk about these episodes at pursueGOD.org.Help others go "full circle" as a follower of Jesus through our 12-week Pursuit series.Click here to learn more about how to use these resources at home, with a small group, or in a one-on-one discipleship relationship.Got questions or want to leave a note? Email us at podcast@pursueGOD.org.Donate Now --The biblical answer is clear: God loves women and from the beginning has worked to bless them. John 10:10John 10:10 (NLT) The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. This reflects God's heart for humanity in Gen 1-2. We'll see that today. But look at how the thief (Satan) is working against this plan - and he's also been doing that from the beginning! We'll see that today in Gen 3. But a lot of people think that the Bible lowers and denigrates women. This is what you would expect from an ancient document, reflecting ancient societal norms. For example:Ancient Sumerian proverb (circa 2100 BC): "Woman is a pitfall, a hole, a ditch," "Woman is a sharp iron dagger that cuts a man's throat." Plato in "Timaeus" (circa 360 BC): "And if a man lived well... and according to his appointed lot... they will make him a man again in his next incarnation... but if he lived a cowardly and unrighteous life... they make him a woman."Aristotle in "Politics" (circa 330 BC): "The male is by nature superior, and the female inferior; and the one rules, and the other is ruled."We're going to see today that from the opening chapter of the Bible, God starts with the opposite statement. That's incredible if you think about it. God's purpose from the beginning was to give women a rich and satisfying life. The word for this is “blessing”, and we're going to break it into two parts…EqualityGod's first blessing was equality: he created women and men in God's image, making them equal in dignity and worth. Many people mistakenly believe the Bible teaches that women are less valuable than men.Toxic masculinity example?Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us....” So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. What “Imago Dei” means (Pursuit L3): This means we are like God in certain ways, such as mentally (we have the capacity to think and create), relationally (we were designed to be in relationship with others) and spiritually (there's a part of us that lives forever). Imago Dei is also a reference to humanity's responsibility to “reign” and represent God to the rest of creation. That applies to all of us: male and female. But not animals. We are different from the rest of creation. Imago Dei sets us apart. People matter to God - men and women alike. In fact, over and over the Bible elevates women (shocking for ancient literature): Women heroes: Esther, Deborah, Naomi, Rahab, Hannah,...
Sixth Sunday in EasterJesus, looking at his disciples, pronounces one of the most revealing and empathic statements in all of sacred scripture: “You are my friends”. It is much easier to think of Jesus as a rabbi, political leader, or military leader. These types of relationships are rooted in authority. Incredibly, Jesus does not want to simply rule over our lives, but commune with us at the deepest level. No greater love than for one to lay down one's life for one's friends, proving Jesus will love us to the end.Scripture Readings for May 5, 2024Acts 10:25-26, 34-35, 44-48Psalm 98:1-41 John 4:7-10John 15:9-17

Jeremiah 31:31-34Hebrews 5:5-10John 12:20-33Psalm 51:1-13or Psalm 119:9-16The CollectAlmighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.Old TestamentJeremiah 31:31-34The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt—a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more. The PsalmPsalm 51:1-13Miserere mei, Deus1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving-kindness; *in your great compassion blot out my offenses.2 Wash me through and through from my wickedness *and cleanse me from my sin.3 For I know my transgressions, *and my sin is ever before me.4 Against you only have I sinned *and done what is evil in your sight.5 And so you are justified when you speak *and upright in your judgment.6 Indeed, I have been wicked from my birth, *a sinner from my mother's womb.7 For behold, you look for truth deep within me, *and will make me understand wisdom secretly.8 Purge me from my sin, and I shall be pure; *wash me, and I shall be clean indeed.9 Make me hear of joy and gladness, *that the body you have broken may rejoice.10 Hide your face from my sins *and blot out all my iniquities.11 Create in me a clean heart, O God, *and renew a right spirit within me.12 Cast me not away from your presence *and take not your holy Spirit from me.13 Give me the joy of your saving help again *and sustain me with your bountiful Spirit.orPsalm 119:9-16In quo corrigit?9 How shall a young man cleanse his way? *By keeping to your words.10 With my whole heart I seek you; *let me not stray from your commandments.11 I treasure your promise in my heart, *that I may not sin against you.12 Blessed are you, O Lord; *instruct me in your statutes.13 With my lips will I recite *all the judgments of your mouth.14 I have taken greater delight in the way of your decrees *than in all manner of riches.15 I will meditate on your commandments *and give attention to your ways.16 My delight is in your statutes; *I will not forget your word. The EpistleHebrews 5:5-10Christ did not glorify himself in becoming a high priest, but was appointed by the one who said to him,“You are my Son, today I have begotten you”;as he says also in another place,“You are a priest forever, according to the order of...

Numbers 21:4-9Ephesians 2:1-10John 3:14-21Psalm 107:1-3, 17-22The CollectGracious Father, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread which gives life to the world: Evermore give us this bread, that he may live in us, and we in him; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.Old TestamentNumbers 21:4-9From Mount Hor the Israelites set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; but the people became impatient on the way. The people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we detest this miserable food.” Then the Lord sent poisonous serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord to take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live.” So Moses made a serpent of bronze, and put it upon a pole; and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live. The PsalmPsalm 107:1-3, 17-22Confitemini Domino1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, *and his mercy endures for ever.2 Let all those whom the Lord has redeemed proclaim *that he redeemed them from the hand of the foe.3 He gathered them out of the lands; *from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.17 Some were fools and took to rebellious ways; *they were afflicted because of their sins.18 They abhorred all manner of food *and drew near to death's door.19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, *and he delivered them from their distress.20 He sent forth his word and healed them *and saved them from the grave.21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his mercy *and the wonders he does for his children.22 Let them offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving *and tell of his acts with shouts of joy.The EpistleEphesians 2:1-10You were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once lived, following the course of this world, following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work among those who are disobedient. All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of flesh and senses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like everyone else. But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-- by grace you have been saved-- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God-- not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life. The GospelJohn 3:14-21Jesus said, “Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.“For God so loved the...
