What happens when you grow up inside a design studio? In this episode of The Next Level, Tom Lauro sits down with creative powerhouse Jeremy Slagle and his two insanely talented kids, Faith and Caleb, who are now working designers. They share what it was like to be raised in a home bursting with creativity, the pivotal moments that shaped their careers, and the real talk on following in the footsteps of a well-known parent in the design world. This is a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how a family turned passion into profession—and passed it on to the next generation.Jeremy”s website: www.slagledesign.comCaleb: www.calebslagle.comFaith: www.Faithslagle.comInstagrams:@slagledesign @faithslagledesignAbout Tom Lauro:I'm a graphic designer / maker who dabbles in a little bit of everything. It all started with a career in landscape architecture, but over time I began drifting more and more into the world of vectors and graphic art. Molded by punk rock and east coast antics, I thrive on simple designs with big personalities. No matter what, I believe every project has a story to tell. Unfolding and discovering that narrative is what inspires my process, and creates the best possible product for my clients. With a holistic approach every project gets the same amount of time and effort; whether that be identity branding, marketing materials, product design, or just some die-cut stickers.https://www.tomlaurodesign.com/https://www.instagram.com/tlauro_design/
Mel Gibson is the explosive action star who plunged straight into Mad Max's Wasteland and straight into insanity. Molded by a violent childhood and an early taste for alcohol, his reputation as a thrill-hungry lunatic extends from movie sets to the director's chair, where he's unflinchingly recreated scene of bone-crushing torture and human sacrifice. His ability to fly off the handle at a moment's notice made him Hollywood's most in-demand actor for playing wildcards and antiheroes. That is, until life imitated art, and Mel was caught spitting slurs and playing the supervillain in real life. Have you ever felt like life's trials are pounding you relentlessly, leaving you battered and worn? In today's episode of Starting Right with Danny Mac, we explore a timeless story that turns our everyday struggles into a powerful metaphor for personal growth. Imagine being a nail under a hammer, or metal in a furnace—how would you perceive the pressure and heat? Join me as I unravel this tale of a craftsman and his tools to reveal how life's heartaches and setbacks, much like those described in 1 Peter 1:6-9, are not meant to break us, but to mold us into something stronger and more valuable.Through anecdotes of personal loss and unfulfilled dreams, we'll discover how these experiences are part of a greater plan crafted by a skilled Master who knows our limits. It's all about reframing our perspective and understanding that the trials we face are opportunities for growth and transformation. As you sip your coffee, let's embrace the challenges with renewed faith, knowing that they will fortify our spirits and enhance our resilience. Together, let's start the day with hope and the assurance that we are being shaped for something greater. We would love to hear your comments. Send us a Text MessageSupport the show
Sermon Title(s): 1. Mold in the house, 2. Purification of a diseased house1. The Old Testament is replete with wonderful gospel testimonies.2. In Leviticus 14, the LORD GOD gave instruction and taught on how a house that had been plagued by mold would be made habitable-made clean.3. And this of course not to teach about handling Covid type pandemics, but to preach the matter of sin and its purification.4. And when you pay attention to the text, you will see most of the doctrines of salvation presented.5. The message presents the problem-a molded house and the solution to remedy it.6. And God's solution always had the mediation of the Priest and the shedding of blood and that tells you this is all about the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, God's ultimate Priest in the purification of the sinner.7. Too many wonderful gospel nuggets that you would not want to miss and THEY ARE FREE!

Pastor Justin teaches at the REO Town venue on Exodus 2:11-25, using the analogy of how diamonds are formed under immense heat and pressure over time. He also delves into how God shapes us through challenges and hardships, drawing connections between Moses' life in the desert and our own struggles, and emphasizing that God uses these tough experiences to refine us for His purposes. This message highlights the value of perseverance and trusting in God's timing, even when we feel like we are in the desert.Subscribe to AfterWords on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.Download a copy of the Exodus JournalVisit us online: rivchurch.comFollow us on InstagramSend us feedback: podcast@rivchurch.com

living in fear is no good! there is no reason to fear, it won't make anything easier or less scary. do whatever makes you happy, keep that positive mindset, and everything will go well. when you believe everything will work out positively then it will all turn out positive. your mind is really powerful, don't forget that. you are in control. you will feel fear a couple times, im not so sure if you can completely let go of that feeling, but don't ever let it consume you. don't grow the fear by feeding it more fear and negative thoughts/feelings, and don't ever act on fear. switch it up by saying positive affirmations out loud and saying you feel excited, happy, and positive that way you change that fear feeling and energy to something positive.Watch the episode on YouTube! https://youtu.be/HFhArpPu-K4?si=hmBy5bGG5dIgAKRJSupport the podcast ! ❤️ https://www.buzzsprout.com/1981728/support Subscribe to get the REAL DEAL from every episode ! https://www.buzzsprout.com/1981728/subscribeSubscribe to my Patreon where I post exclusive content to each Episode ! https://patreon.com/LisTalksVibesPodcast?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=join_link Follow the vibes on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/listalksvibes/?hl=enTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@listalksvibesAll my main social media accounts:-Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/listapiaaaa/?hl=en-TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@listapiaaa?_t=8e4Y9ZpHVH9&_r=1-makeup bookings/portfolio Instagram page @lisglamz Subscribe to the Lis Talks Vibes CLIPS YouTube channel where I post short segments of the full podcast! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp-V4pnjcFfOzONkHgCR3sw Checkout my audio Podcast on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/3TSyq7RWoplDc27T7MQZHc?si=943b284a0eff4d00Apple Podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/lis-talks-vibes-podcast/id1623209652 Checkout my Etsy shop for some cute crystal threaded bracelets!https://www.etsy.com/shop/lisvibesSupport the show
