Treat it that way and your creative testing stops being guesswork. In this episode, Andrew lays out a first-principles framework for Meta Ads that resolves three tensions operators hit every day:Consolidation: why “more purchases per ad set” increases model confidence, stabilizes delivery, and compounds performance over time.Creative supply: how to increase diverse creative volume (not near-duplicates) without kicking high-performing ad sets back into volatility.False negatives: when Meta gives up too early—and practical ways to limit misses without torching budget. You'll leave with a clear mental model for structuring campaigns, setting bid strategies (including when manual bids help and why), deciding ad-per-ad-set counts, and preventing “learning phase” churn. If margin pressure, inconsistent scaling, or noisy tests are blocking growth, this is a rigorous, operator-grade way to diagnose the system and deploy creative testing that actually compounds. What you'll learn:- The ad-set level is where learning really happens—and how to leverage that- Why consolidating conversions beats scattering them across many ad sets- How to design creative pipelines that maximize diversity and minimize redundancy- Practical safeguards to reduce false negatives without sunk-cost waste- A simple deployment pattern to add new ads without disrupting scale- Listen to sharpen your testing strategy and reclaim wasted spend with a framework you can apply this quarter.//CHAPTER TITLES:00:01:38 - Why Meta Ad Creative Structure Is Important00:03:53 - The Value of Purchases In Your Ad Sets00:07:40 - Conversions Effect Ad Performance00:10:40 - Purdy & Figg Example00:17:13 - Utilizing Manual Bids For A Greater Performance00:21:05 - Creative Volume Is Good00:32:44 - Avoid False Negatives00:41:46 - What Should You Do?//SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL FOR 2X/WEEKLY UPLOADS!//ADMISSIONGet the best media buying training on the Internet + a free coaching call with Common Thread Collective's media buyers when you sign up for ADmission here: https://www.youradmission.co/andrew-faris-podcast//FOLLOW UP WITH ANDREW X: https://x.com/andrewjfaris Email: podcast@ajfgrowth.comWork with Andrew: https://ajfgrowth.com

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT) During a visit to the Pacific Northwest several years ago, I met a man who told me he’d been heavily into alcohol and drugs. His marriage, he said, had been hanging by a thread. One day, he loaded a gun, planning to kill himself. Then he turned on the TV. There on the screen was a Harvest Crusade, where I was sharing a message called, “How to Get Right with God.” The man said, “God began to speak to me. When you led those people in prayer, I prayed and asked Jesus Christ to come into my life.” After he found Christ, the man realized he needed to reconcile with his father. So, he rode his motorcycle across the country to see his dad. That’s a long ride on a motorcycle. That sounds like a conversion to me. That sounds like a man who had met God, because there was a change in his life. That’s a familiar pattern in Scripture: have a personal encounter with the Lord and then find that your life is changed as a result. In 2 Kings 5, after the military commander Naaman was healed from his leprosy, he immediately rejected all idols and wanted to show his gratitude with a gift. In Acts 9, after Saul encountered Jesus on his way to arrest Christians, he changed the entire trajectory of his life. He became a leader of the people he had been persecuting. In Acts 16, after the Philippian jailer became a believer, he washed the backs of the prisoners he had previously whipped. And in Luke 19, after the tax collector Zacchaeus encountered Jesus, he vowed to give half his wealth to the poor and repay the people he’d cheated four times what he owed them. Let’s be clear: None of these people changed so that they could make themselves good enough for the Lord. They didn’t earn their salvation or righteousness with their good deeds. The change came after their encounter with the Lord, as a result of His impact on their life. The apostle Paul—the man known as Saul in Acts 9—wrote, “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT). After you give your life to Christ, your next step is to foster this new person and embrace the changes that will occur in your life. The Holy Spirit, who takes up residence inside you when you receive Christ, will guide you in this step. He will remind you that certain attitudes, habits, and routines are part of your old life. He will help you adjust to the changes that Jesus initiates. He will help you enjoy the “rich and satisfying life” (John 10:10 NLT) that only Jesus offers. Reflection question: What has changed in your life since you became a believer? What if machines could read us better than people can? Blake Eastman is on a mission to make that a reality – and to ensure it serves humanity, not replaces it.Blake is the founder of The Nonverbal Group, a former poker pro and psychology professor, and now a pioneering builder at the intersection of human behavior and AI. Blake pulls back the curtain on his decades-long obsession with decoding people, from micro-reactions and smiles to power dynamics and unspoken expectations. He also previews his upcoming book, a science-backed reimagining of How to Win Friends and Influence People. It will break down the underlying psychological forces – like hierarchy, status, and value orientation – that shape how we communicate. His goal? To create a foundational guide for truly understanding human behavior at its most nuanced level.Blake explains why the popular ideas of “reading people” and “taking baselines” are misleading, and how even experts often misinterpret the subtle signals that govern human connection. He dives into the challenge of building machines that can identify social friction, coach people in real-time, and even outperform humans in behavioral prediction – without losing the ethical thread of care and responsibility.Throughout the episode, you'll learn how AI can supercharge your social intelligence, why most communication advice fails without context, and how to develop the kind of communication range that makes leaders truly effective. Blake also shares actionable insight into how anyone – especially those with cross-disciplinary skills – can leverage AI to gain a massive edge in business and life.Find out more about Blake Eastman: https://www.nonverbalgroup.com/Make sure you're subscribed to the Speak Like a CEO newsletter to become a top 1% communicator: https://eoipsocommunications.com/newsletter/

Grunwald, known for his sharp reporting and systems-level analysis, explains why sparing land—not just using it better—is the key to solving food and climate. After working with hundreds of people navigating retirement, we've seen a clear pattern: the biggest regrets aren't about money. They're about meaning.Too often, people retire from something—but never toward something. They solve the financial side without planning for the life side. And that leads to some common regrets:No clear purpose after work: Retirement without direction quickly turns from freedom to restlessness.Neglecting health too long: Wellness is what fuels the retirement you've dreamed about—don't wait to prioritize it.Losing social connection: The workplace offers more structure and belonging than many realize until it's gone.Expecting retirement to feel like a vacation forever: It won't. But with intention, it can become a reinvention.Being too afraid to spend: Your money is a tool to live—not something to hoard while life passes by.Don't wait to think about what really matters. The best retirements are built not just on financial security—but on vision, relationships, health, and joy.Start designing a life you won't regret.-Advisory services are offered through Root Financial Partners, LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser. They also discuss players who need a lifeline in this window: Grealish, Rashford, Núñez — whose career needs saving, and where could they end up?Finally, the lads reflect on Wayne Rooney's viral “Winner Stays On” clip.
