Make Westeros Great Again: A Game of Thrones Podcast

The fellas are back to recap Season 8, Episode 3, "The Long Night." They kick it off with some pretty serious wild fire hot takes, get into some "It is Known" predictions, and square off on what is going to happen in King's Landing the rest of this season. Season 8, Episode 2 "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" is over and everyone is going to die. Just like the characters in the show, our heroes--Kevin and Andrew--gather around the fire, consume some wine, and contemplate their mortality as death marches. But mostly they tell some above average jokes and do a little gambling. The fellas also predict whether each character will survive next week's Battle of Winterfell. Smoke 'em while you got 'em, next week is going to be a bloodbath.

Brothers and sisters, Kevin and Andrew are back with a vengeance to talk about the last season of Game of Thrones. The fellas are glad to be back as the cure for the common lame Game of Thrones recap podcast. Major topics include the MVP of the Episode, power ranking of the reunions, advice on how Daenerys can be friends with Sansa, and then a whole lot of gambling talk. Andrew and Kevin just watched episode 7 of season 7 "The Dragon and the Wolf." Kevin ranks the most likely candidates to enter the hall of fame this season. Tyene Sand has a shot. The guys also talk about Cersei and Jaime's break-up playlist. Spoiler alert: it includes a lot of Dashboard Confessional. We also pour one out for the homie Little Finger and light a candle for Tormund. We pray he will be found in the wreckage. The lone wolf dies, but the podcast survives.

Andrew and Kevin have thoughts on Season 7, Episode 6 "Beyond the Wall." The guys finally come around on Jorah. He isn't just for the ladies anymore. Jorah can ball. The guys also talk about the Stark Civil War. No one can sit this fight out. Choose a side. Andrew and Kevin also discuss a more sensible way to decide the fate of the universe: a Space Jam-styled basketball game between the living and the dead. This may not be the bravest podcast around, just the drunkest.

The guys are back to talk Season 7 Episode 5 EASTWATCH. There is the normal MVP, Hall of Fame, and Comeback Player of the Year Discussion, and then things turn a bit existential as we question our longstanding Westerosi beliefs now that we know Jon is indeed a true born. We also give the Eastwatch All-Star Squad a few pointers as they head out beyond the wall -- with Ocean's 11 and NFL Quarterbacks as our guide. The guys just watched Episode 4 of Season 7, “Spoils of War” and are ready to talk about dragon battles. They discuss the need for regulation of the Westerosi financial system, the Stark children as college archetypes, how Brienne is overrated, how Jaime is dead, and close out with some dagger talk.

  The fellas have some thoughts on Episode 3 of Season 7, “The Queen’s Justice.” Dany’s leadership team is in need of a shakeup, Bran is terrible, and Cersei just tied the series at 3-3. The fellas also introduce two new segments: “Draft Kings” and “Fan Duel.” As always they award an MVP, induct a new name into the Book of Brothers, and give some Wildfire Hot Takes.

Andrew and Kevin are back to talk about Episode 2 of Season 7, “STORMBORN.” The fellas talk MVP (Euron, obvi); comeback player of the year; and hall of fame nominees. They also discuss Westerosi baked goods and power rank the top 10 fighters in all of Westeros. They close with America’s favorite podcast segment--“Wildfire Hot Takes” and induct some new folks into the Book of Brothers.

The fellas are back to talk about the Season 7 Premiere, DRAGONSTONE, or as we think they should have called it, Uncle Kraken. We talk MVP, Box Score, and other things like that.
