Memorial Christian Church featuring speaker Eric Koenig
True freedom is found in Jesus Christ. He died to set us free from sin and death that we might have the hope of eternal life.
God's grace is not a license to sin. As Christians we must learn to put off the old self and put on the new self.
God our Father is a God of love, comfort, and compassion. God showed us this love through Jesus Christ.
Jesus bore our sins, he took our punishment, he took away our separation from God. Why would he do this? One Word, Love.
Join us as Pastor Eric continues through our Study of I Peter. How do we live in freedom because of Christ, but not live in sin?
The Stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
Why would God call us to be holy as he holy in the old and new testament? How can we accomplish this? Righteousness is only possible through Jesus Christ.
Are we leaving a legacy of faith? Are we passing down the word? Are we passing down God's love? Are we passing down the gospel to the next generation?
In Jesus Christ we are born again. In Jesus Christ we have a living hope. In Jesus Christ we have a living hope through the resurrection of the dead. We have a hope in heaven that can never perish, spoil, or fade
What do we do if we fall? What do we do if we fail? Many people think they cannot come back.
The Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Many in the world, and in churches, are turning away from the word. It is our anchor and our foundation. To sow Seeds, we must sow the Word.
To see Seeds grow, we must have faith.
God calls us to Sow seeds. We are called to trust that God will grow them.
To Sow Seeds of the gospel we must have patience. They will grow on God's time and not our own.
As Christians, we are called to be in the world, but not of the world.
Are we sowing seeds of the gospel by praying for the lost? Dwight L Moody would not go to bed until he had reached out to one person. Do we have this passion? Are we praying for the lost?
Are we sowing to the spirit or to the world?
We are called to sow seeds. What is it we have to sow? What we have to sow is the gospel! A farmer plants a seed and prays for a harvest within a year. When we sow seeds of the gospel, something may happen right away, years from now, or even not at all. We have a responsibility to sow whether the seeds are accepted or not.
The Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We are to ask the lord of the harvest to send workers into the harvest field. During this new series, we are going to learn to sow seeds, ask God to grow the seeds, and ask God to bring in a Harvest.
in Jesus Christ we have Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love.
In Jesus Christ, we have good news of Great joy. We have good news because of what Jesus has done.
Peace in this world is temporary, peace in Jesus Christ is eternal.
The Christmas season can be depressing for some. No matter what you are facing we have hope in Jesus Christ.
Jesus conquered sin and death for us. Because of that we always have a reason to say Thanks be to God.
Give Thanks in all circumstances because we have Jesus Christ.
Are we willing to answer God's call to reach out? Are we ready to reach out? Are we willing to answer god's call to be saved.
Acts 6 and 7 Stephen boldly proclaims the gospel. He proclaims Israel's history and then proclaims they have killed the messiah. He proclaims they have resisted the spirit and God's messiah Jesus. Do we resist the spirit?
We must Obey God, rather than Men. Daniel, Shadrach, and the Apostles all had a choice to make. Will they serve God or serve men?
There is Power in Prayer. Do we have faith? Do we believe it?
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life no man comes to the father except through him.
The first message the prophets, John the Baptist and Jesus preached is to Repent. It is Godly sorrow leads to repentance.
Last week we started a new series through Acts. We found out that Jesus is coming back. This week we are going to find out that God has raised this Jesus from the dead!
He is Coming Back. Jesus will Return. Are we ready for his return? Are others that we know ready for his return?
Are we willing to leave everything else behind to follow Jesus? There is nothing better than knowing Jesus Christ.
A Turn Around Church is a united church. If we are going to make a difference for the kingdom, we must remain united in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To make Disciples, we must be disciples. We are called to share others the good news about Jesus that we have received.
A Turn Around Church is a church on mission. Are we following Jesus command to go into all the world and preach the gospel, teaching, and baptizing them in Jesus?
Are we willing to put God first no matter what? Are we willing to put him above everything else?
God Loves Us, God Forgives us, God calls us to leave our life of sin!
Do we focus our prayers on worshipping God and putting his kingdom first? If we do not, we need a turnaround in our prayer lives.
Do we love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength?
Are we fully devoted to Christ above all else? Do we live with the mindset that to live is Christ and to die is gain?
What do you do once you fail? What do you do once you make mistakes? Can you move on? You can in Jesus Christ.
Storms can cause us to doubt who God is and if he is there. No Matter what storm we face Jesus will never leave us or forsake us.
We have hope in Jesus Christ even in grief and death itself.
Can we Turn around from fear? Fear consumes, but we are called to only fear the lord and keep his commandments.
Worry consumes us, worry takes our focus off what matters most. To turn around from worry we must tell Jesus, and we must fix our eyes on Jesus Christ the one who saved us.
Bitterness affects our relationships and give the enemy a foothold in our homes and churches. Are you consumed with Bitterness? Jesus can help you turn around.
