Bible Reading: Ephesians 2:1-10

God's Word brings hope into hopeless situations. Ezekiel 37 was spoken to the people of God at a time when everything seemed lost. Jerusalem was occupied, the Temple was destroyed, and the people were exiled and enslaved. They described themselves as having “no hope” and being “cut off.” Yet God showed Ezekiel a vision of a valley filled with dry bones and asked, “Can these bones live?” The vision revealed that with God there is always hope even in seemingly dead situations.

This changed my life years ago and completely transformed me from a person full of doubt, fear and unbelief to a strong confident Christian that knows I can do anything through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. And I'm determined to teach the world what God has taught and commissioned me to teach and that is His Word.  That commission takes me to jails and detention centers weekly along with other open doors at many churches and ministries that are wanting to teach these important truths to the world. My podcast goes out 6 days a week to help the people I am ministering to grow in the truths that God has taught me for many years now. This podcast is free to all that want to listen and grow strong in who God has made them to be in Christ Jesus their Lord and Savior. Ephesians 2:1–10 reveals the dramatic transformation God’s grace brings to our lives. Apart from Christ, we are spiritually dead—enslaved by the world around us, the devil against us, and the flesh within us—and unable to save ourselves. But God, rich in mercy and great in love, makes us alive with Christ, raises us to a new position, and displays His grace through us. This salvation cannot be earned by good works; it is God’s gift, received through faith in Jesus. Yet while we are not saved by good works, we are saved to do good works as God’s workmanship, living out the purpose He prepared for us.

Today's Promise: 1 Corinthians 15:22 Because of Adam, sin and death entered the world. But because of Jesus, we have something far greater: life.   In this episode, we look at the powerful promise of how we are made alive in Christ. Death is something none of us can avoid. We can eat right, exercise, and take care of our bodies, but eventually, we will all face death. Yet for the believer, death is not the end. It is temporary.   Because Jesus conquered the grave, those who belong to Him have the hope of resurrection. The Bible describes believers who have died as being "asleep in Christ." One day, Jesus will awaken them to eternal life in His presence.   But here's the good news: you don't have to wait until heaven to experience this life. The life of Christ is already in you. You are alive in Christ. And because He lives, you will live also.

Before we celebrate baptism, we need to understand what it represents. In Ephesians 2, we see the reality of our condition apart from God—dead in sin and unable to save ourselves. But because of His great love, God makes us alive through the grace of Jesus. This message reminds us that salvation is not something we achieve, but something we receive, and that through Christ we are given new life, new identity, and new purpose.
