Muses are like potato chips — you can never have just one! The addiction to alternate characters, or alts, has spread across the entire FFXIV player base, affecting roleplayers worst of all. Creating a second (or third, or fourth…) original character, and starting the game again from scratch, can be a fun and fulfilling experience — except for the parts when it’s a long, dull grind, of course.
