This is the one that started it all. Five years and 157(ish) episodes are available to you all in one place. While the show has likely met its conclusion, you can go back and listen to this nerd-centric podcast from beginning to end. From books to movies and everything in between, nothing ever seemed to be off-limits.
Hey. Nate here. How are ya? Well, there's always time for new beginnings, I guess. After a long hiatus, Nerd Words is back. I consider this episode a stop-gap between what as and what will be. I am joined by Rachel. We chat about our impending move, some nasty stuff we encountered during the search, and how this podcast might change and adapt in the coming weeks and months. Thank you for listening! I hope you enjoy the episode.
In an effort to stay sane - and actually spend time with friends and family, we've begun doing somewhat regular Discord streaming parties. This week, we sat down and watched The Green Inferno, a modern take on the cannibal tribe exploitation films from the 70's and 80's. We also talk about the how and why we got interested in horror/B genre films, what constitutes one of these films, and more. We've dubbed our private view parties, “B Movies by Night,” in homage to the old Vampire: the Masquerade city trope. When the stars align and the schlock runs deep, we will meet at midnight. If you stare long into the abyss of quarantine, you may might an invite waiting for you as well.
Well, we're still in the purgatory of social isolation. However, we take advantage of this bad situation and the wonders of the internet to have a few guests on! We talk at length about the dumbest thing Nathan has agreed to in some time: a really poorly conceived tattoo of another human's face on his body. Additionally, we talk at length about Vampire: the Masquerade 5th edition, namely our personal issues with elder version power disparity. We also go in on Clan Malkavian, and more.
Hello friends and listeners. A lot of crazy has happened since our last podcast. Specifically, COVID-19 has become a global pandemic. Since February, local, state, and federal governments have called for unprecedented prevention measures including social distancing, shelter-in-place, and more. So, since many of us are home, we chat about how this time has changed our routines and what we're doing to stay sane. We hope all of you are well in this strange and scary period. If you want more info on COVID-19, check out the CDC website.

Sorry we're a little late on this one. Bob and Nate return to have a chat pretty much exclusively about our experiences with the diabolical sect of vampires called, “The Sabbat.” We talk about some of the issues we've had, we've seen others have, and how we've worked them out or gotten around them.
