In June’s episode, we interview Stephen Glicken, Founder and CEO of Nashville based Project Admission. Prior to starting Project Admission Stephen helped grow a company that was purchased by Songkick. Stephen has spent his career living and traveling across various continents. Now he is working on building an improved experience for the buying, selling, and distribution of digital tickets to increase data and revenue. By tracking a ticket’s chain of ownership and expanding distribution Project Admission opens up revenue, marketing, and data collection opportunities, and creates an interest graph that goes beyond event attendees. In August’s episode I chat with Adam Williams of the Retail Redeveloped Podcast. Adam is a commercial real estate broker based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We crossed passed last April at the Food for Thought Conference in New Orleans. In our chat, we discuss similarities and differences of Charlotte and Nashville. In our conversation, Curtis discusses his experience representing beer and other alcoholic beverage manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and distributors, as well as retailers such as bars, restaurants, and retail package stores on the ever-evolving legal landscape relating to the alcoholic beverage and cannabis/hemp industries. It is evident that Curtis is passionate about the niche areas of law he practices in and that he can serve as a resource for businesses large and small, whether the business is still in the dream and planning stages or the business has operated for decades and is looking to expand or change.
