A brief intro into how and why I got into SEO in 2007. Did I love SEO at the beginning? No definitely not. Was I dreaming of becoming an SEO professional when I was 5? No, I was not. I liked Yahoo mail in my year 6 primary school class though. Was that a sign that I would do something one day in search? Hmm, depends if you like to read into things as much as my wife does. What were some of the old school SEO tactics that I enjoyed in 2007 though? Dumping keywords on the bottom of the page and white text on a white background! Totes cool. When was the moment I fell in love with SEO? Because before that it was like my dad trying to explain to me, that fishing is fun? I would love to hear your story and what made you do what you are doing currently? Let me know below #career #searchengineoptimisation #digitalmarketing
Simply put, No! The ability to get SEO results is far greater than it was 10 years ago. The amount of money and budget isn't as important as it is often portrayed. A monthly SEO budget has a significant role in deciding whether results are achieved long term but nowhere near as important as the amount of talent the SEO professional has and the CEO or Entrepreneur's ability to build and scale a business. A great and successful SEO strategy requires 4 core skills to maximise results longterm: 1. Marketing Brain. 2. Business Brain. 3. Technical Brain. 4. Practitioner Brain. This is why so many SEOs globally are currently specialising in a niche within SEO itself due to the range of skills, expertise, research and analysis require in 2021. You either have a content marketing strategy that answers your customer's questions or you don't. A customer will inevitably get the answer from your competitor on Google, as Google doesn't create content to answer questions from industries they crawl and index the content elsewhere. And Googling for answers is not going anywhere soon. However, it's only going to get harder as the medium will undoubtedly shift to audio. Any questions send us an email or comment below:

What every business needs to be successful? Some good business tips I have heard: * Learn from your customers. ... * Prioritise customer support. ... * Stay focused on your niche. ... * Deliver an experience your customers won't forget. ... * Be time-efficient. ... * Think omnichannel. ... * Find a balance. ... * Don't fear larger, more established competitors.
A recent SEO case study that was published generated a few negative comments and genuine questions that will be addressed in this podcast. I hope this video clarifies but if it doesn't, please comment below or send me a private message --
I was asked to create a video on why I self identify as a brand focused UX driven SEO maniac? For as long as I can remember, there were two major SEO camps. White hat & Black hat, and in this video I will deep dive (in under 7 minutes) the general differences and why I have broken away from the traditional white hat SEO camp. No one disputes SEO is long term, but perhaps some SEOs will disagree that UX/Brand focused SEO strategies are not the best way forward, but I tend to disagree. No fortune 500 company relied or relies on link building to build their brands online. It takes something extraordinary. And an extraordinary story told often. I hope this video clarifies but if it doesn't, please comment below or send me a private message.

Keyword research is foundational for a great blogging strategy to build personal brands. 4. Integrate YouTube videos into your blog articles to maximise search engine saturation. 5. Make sure you see what your competitors are developing and make sure you have something better than they do. Lead the way through SEO based thought leadership. 6. Use social media and other highly relevant sites in your industry to promote your content. 7. Email outreach to financial sites and have key reasons ready as to why they should link to your content.
