Death has so terrorised mankind that even the mention of it evokes fear.However the scriptures give us light on the true nature of death with a resounding exhortation “fear not”.A

The Lord Jesus Christ had earlier said during his earthly ministry, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”.He spoke of the heaven and earth as something less or inferior to his word

This looks similar to being called a “royal priesthood”. In the old testament there was a clear distinction between Kingship and the Priesthood. In the new testament both have been fused into one

He looked and saw a door opened in heaven.The idea here was not about the heavens opening, but of him seeing the door opened.

Grace is God’s love in action.It is the expression of God’s love to you.God so loved the world that he went beyond talking about it, but acted by giving Jesus Christ. God loves you more than you love yourself and will never stop loving you.

We are labourers together with God; we are not just called to labour “for” him, we called to labour “with” him. Heaven is dependent on our labours upon the earth.

I had once said to someone “cry if you have to, but don’t cry forever”.This means occasions might arise here on earth that could move you to tears.Have you ever thought of the possibility of not having any reason to cry?

The humanity of Jesus Christ was expressed in different ways.In the gospel of John, it says “the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us”. God himself partook of flesh and blood, he took on the physical nature of human beings.

The authorised voice today from heaven to us is that of Jesus Christ.God is still saying to us “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear him”.
