In this episode of Uncommon Sense, we're talking about Tucker Carlson's highly discussed interview with Senator Ted Cruz. I'll be sharing my honest thoughts on how it went, why I think Tucker came out ahead, and what this kind of bold, unscripted, and unapologetically frank conversation means for the future of political discourse (spoiler: I'm all for it). We'll go into why I support constructive confrontation—yes, even when it gets "mean" and uncomfortable. The Founding Fathers didn't tiptoe around the truth, so why should we? They debated passionately because the stakes were high. The polite punditry act is wearing thin, and people are tired of political puppets mouthing safe lines. They're craving what we saw here: real conviction, real disagreement, and real questions. We'll cover why I believe Tucker won this exchange: from his biblical literacy to his serious concerns about foreign lobbying groups like AIPAC having a hand in U.S. policy. Ted got visibly nervous when pressed about Scripture, about Israel, and about U.S. involvement in a possible war with Iran. And the question still lingers: Why are we only now suddenly being pushed to act, when Trump was reportedly targeted by Iran two years ago? Most importantly, we'll reflect on Tucker's question—a theological one with deep political ramifications: Who is the real Israel according to God? Is it the modern state that does not believe Jesus is Lord and historically has required a denial of Christ for Jewish returnees? Or is it the true church—those who belong to Christ?I'll share my belief unapologetically: Israel is the body of believers in Jesus Christ. Not those who reject Him. Not those who crucified Him. That's a hard truth, but a necessary one in these last days when clarity very much matters.Faith shouldn't be a popularity contest.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOorwAVEYslTlOGA-36_bHHjruNDOebEKWQ6M2115NZZwL8WG_ali

On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, I explain why I've shifted to a neutral stance on the Israel-Iran conflict. While mainstream media pressures us to “pick a side,” Scripture tells a deeper story, one that's not bound by modern borders or politics.Christians are the true Israel, not by race or nation, but by faith in Christ. The Church is the chosen people of God, not a geopolitical state. So why are we being told that standing with the a government equals standing with God?We'll unpack the phrase “Judeo-Christian”—what it really means (and what it doesn't)—and discuss how religiously manipulative narratives can cloud our judgment. Supporting everything any group does (whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim) is not biblical discernment. It's idolatry.None of us are perfect. Not every Christian represents Christ well, and not every Jew or Muslim represents their faith's ideals either. So let's step back, seek the truth, and refuse to be emotionally blackmailed into blind allegiance.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

In this special episode of Truth Tribe, Dr. Douglas Groothuis reads an original essay composed as a tool for Christian students and truth seekers alike: a topical compilation of biblical passages titled Spiritual Realities Behind Worldly Philosophies and False Religions. Originally prepared while teaching philosophy at Colorado Christian University, the piece is a Scripture-saturated warning and encouragement for believers engaging with false ideologies — whether religious or irreligious. Dr. Groothuis underscores that the battle for truth is not merely intellectual but deeply spiritual. Listeners are exhorted to approach their studies and worldview formation with prayerfulness, discernment, and unwavering trust in the authority of Scripture.
Brian Fulton speaks on John 16 as Epiphany remembers Trinity Sunday as a part of the church calendar. We learned together about the Spirit of Truth, the mystery of God, and the person of Jesus.

Send us a textJohn 16:9 "of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 "of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 "of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. 12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. In the previous section we learned that Jesus was leaving and when He left He would send the Holy Spirit. We found out that it would be to the disciples and our advantage that Jesus left because Jesus in His earthly body could only be in one place at a time, whereas the Holy Spirit can be with and live inside each believer at the same time. Now we find out why it is to our advantage that Jesus leaves and sends the Holy Spirit. First it is because He will convict the World of their sin, His righteousness, and the judgment that comes if they don't trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He says that if He has judged the ruler of this world who is Satan, then He will certainly judge us if we don't trust in Him. We also find out that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and He will guide us into all the truth we need to live this life (2Peter 1:3-4) and things that will happen in the future. Remember the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead, the three in one Trinity. He is not an it, but a He because He is God. He has a mind, will, and emotions and is fully God just as the Father and Jesus are God. Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Have you trusted Him as your Savior? He can Save you if You ask Him based on His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. Believe in Him for forgiveness of your sins today. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” -John 8:32 Our mission is to spread the gospel and to go to the least of these with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ; We reach out to those the World has forgotten. hisloveministries.podbean.com #HLMSocial hisloveministries.nethttps://www.instagram.com/hisloveministries1/?hl=en His Love Ministries on Itunes Don't go for all the gusto you can get, go for all the God (Jesus Christ) you can get. John 15 : 26 - 16 : 15 26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning. 1 "These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. 4 But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. "And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you. 5 "But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, "Where are You going?' 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. 12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. Glory be to God forever.

Send us a textThe Holy Spirit often receives the least attention among the persons of the Trinity, yet understanding His divine personhood is crucial for every believer. Far from being an impersonal force, energy, or "it," the Holy Spirit is a divine being with intellect, will, and emotions – co-equal with the Father and Son.This episode explores the unique role the Holy Spirit plays in our salvation. While the Father's role is election (choosing before the foundation of the world those who would be saved) and the Son's role is redemption (dying for those the Father elected), the Holy Spirit's role is regeneration – bringing about the new birth in believers. These distinct yet harmonious functions highlight the perfect unity and diversity within the Godhead.Perhaps most striking is Jesus' declaration that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. This profound statement from Matthew 12:31-32 underscores the divine personhood of the Spirit. As Christ Himself said, one can speak against the Father or the Son and be forgiven, but speaking against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, "neither in this world, nor in the world to come."Modern Christianity has often trivialized the Holy Spirit, treating Him as a power to be harnessed rather than a divine person to be reverenced and obeyed. This episode challenges that misconception, reminding us that the Holy Spirit is not to be trifled with but honored as God equally with the Father and Son. As Zechariah 4:6 tells us, victories in God's kingdom come "not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit."Join this enlightening discussion that includes powerful insights from panel members and historical quotations from Charles Spurgeon on why a gospel without the Trinity is "a pyramid built upside down." Discover afresh the Holy Spirit's essential role in your spiritual life and how understanding His personhood transforms your relationship with the triune God.Support the show

Jesus reminds us that the Holy Spirit will come. He will guide them to the Truth. Normally, we depend on our thinking power to navigate through our lives. Jesus reveals to us that He will send the Spirit to guide us. That guidance will come in the form of enlightenment so that we can see better. The Lord has already revealed all the truths He needed to leave with us in the Church regarding the journey we all make to Heaven. However, we must face such challenges as our proneness to error, of limited intellectual capacity, the influence of the environment, contrary views and examples of living, etc. Hence, we should set out to deal with and receive the Holy Spirit's assistance with His Light, Gifts and grace.

A sermon by Rev. Mark Smith on John 14:21-29 on the sixth Sunday in Easter.
The Church in today's liturgy of the word is more explicit in mentioning the Holy Spirit, Who will be sent from the Father. Jesus says that He is another Advocate for us in front of God. He is also the witness of Jesus before us. The reason is that He is the Author of our sanctification, that is, us becoming more and more Jesus Christ. This is to be expected because the life of grace is the very life of Jesus Christ, that is of God, in our souls.

Today, we're discussing the recent passing of Pope Francis. As a Protestant, I don't hold to Catholic doctrine, and I've had some serious theological issues with the papacy—but that doesn't mean I won't stop to reflect when someone steps into eternity. In this episode, I'm praying for Pope Francis' soul and hoping he had a deathbed conversion—because no one is beyond God's reach. I also hope Catholics choose a biblical pope next time, not one more interested in pleasing the world than honoring the Word. We'll talk about the things he did right—his care for the poor and moments of humility. But we'll also look at the dangerous things he got wrong:Promoting open borders that have devastated countries and erased traditionSaying all religions worship the same God (they don't)Claiming the human heart is good (the Bible says it's deceitful above all things)Ignoring original sin and the fallen nature of manThis is a respectful but honest take on a figure who meant a lot to many—but who, like all of us, needed Christ above all.--https://noblegoldinvestments.com/
