A determined flat owner who managed to oust her building's “overcharging” managing agent and halve her service charge is now on a crusade to help other residents. She took action after the problems and poor service started almost immediately after she moved into the property in Unicorn Walk in Greenhithe three-years ago. Also in today's podcast, people are calling for a well-used route to become a dual carriageway before more than 1,000 homes could be built nearby. The A2500 Lower Road on Sheppey regularly gets high volumes of traffic at peak times – you can hear from one resident who says it can be gridlocked for miles. A nursery in Tunbridge Wells has had its licence suspended while safeguarding concerns are investigated by the police and local council.Ofsted sent parents of children attending Green Cave Nursery a letter informing them of the suspension last month.A housing development so unpopular it sparked a street party when it was thrown out has now been given the go-ahead after the decision was overturned on appeal.Developers have won the fight to build 250 homes on the edge of Faversham – almost a year to the day after Swale Borough Council rejected the plans. And there have been tributes to a “kind and funny” grandmother who died after suffering a cardiac arrest at a cinema screening. The Gillingham woman died in hospital following the medical emergency at Cineworld in Rochester.

You've done the healing work. But there's still that voice that whispers:“You're not ready.”“Who are you to help anyone?”“You're still messing it up at home…”I've been there too.In this episode, I share:My own story of pivoting from corporate coaching to healing work while still in the messWhy your imperfection is actually what qualifies you to leadHow to stop letting the judge in your head run your lifeThe mindset shift that changed everything for me—and my clientsAnd why progress, not perfection, is the new leadership You don't have to be “done” to start helping. Too many men are wandering around aimlessly through life doing just enough in their existence to make it through one more day. That's part of the reason I founded Order of Man and bring in incredible men like my guest today, Cody Jefferson. Cody is on a mission to help men find their purpose and live a life they're called to live. Today, Cody and I talk about why so many men feel they're always behind and never enough, the pressures a man faces daily and how to relieve them correctly, the source of joy and peace in a man's life, how your body will tell you a lot about your attitude and efforts in life, why men should focus on who they are, not what they do, and so much more. Send me a Text Message. In this super honest solo episode, I unpack a limiting belief that's followed me for years: “I can't help others with their business if mine isn't thriving.” As I deepen my coaching journey and reflect on what true success means, I'm realizing how deeply ingrained this belief is—and how untrue it actually is. I share the honest behind-the-scenes of my work, money mindset, slow growth, and how I'm redefining success to align with values over volume. If you've ever felt like you're not “far enough” to help others, this episode is for you.FULL SHOW-NOTES WITH TAKEAWAYS + LINKSpatternshift.fm BEST QUOTE FROM THE EPISODE“Thriving doesn't always look like a massive income. Sure, you can tell your story. But what happens when you're not in the room? Are people sharing a story about you that doesn't quite fit? I bet you can see it now. There's someone who believes in you. They love what you create. They want to advocate for you. But when the moment comes to share your story? They fumble. They either say nothing… or say the wrong thing. Now you're getting opportunities that sound nothing like you—or worse, no opportunities at all. Yikes! In this episode, I show you how to fix that. I walk you through how to equip your biggest fans to tell your story in the right way, to the right people, in the right rooms. The key? A simple tool called the ABT Framework (And, But, Therefore)—which I first learned from Park Howell back in Episode 101. When you use it well, your personal brand doesn't just sit quietly waiting for the next introduction—it starts working for you, everywhere.

I make it VERY clear that I'm not a therapist or doctor, but sometimes viewers ask why I didn't go the route of becoming a therapist, and how I learned to do what I do. In this video, I give the full story on how I recovered from my own Complex PTSD symptoms, and how teaching my method grew from a few people to millions of people over the course of 30 years. My focus is not on childhood or the origins of trauma (this is the special expertise of licensed clinicians). Rather, I focus on practical ways to regulate the nervous system, and principles and techniques to get your life together and NOT fall into the old self-defeating behaviors that used to drag you down. My name is Roxi Ruiz, and I am from McAllen, TX, which is located right on the Mexican/US border. My city has been voted the most obese city for 8 years in a row. I am the Mom of one amazing daughter. I am a Speech Language Pathologist who specialises in feeding disorders. I became an Intermittent fast in February of 2019 after being diagnosed with prediabetes and NAFLD. Both sides of my family have generational metabolic disorders. I found fasting when a coworker asked me to read Delay, Don't Deny by Gin Stephens so she could get my opinion on fasting. I had never heard of IF before this. I started my first fast that evening. I have lost and maintained a 30-pound weight loss over 6 years, but more importantly, I have reversed my prediabetes and no longer have a fatty liver. I am one of two administrators for Gin Stephens's Community. We are an online fasting community that is found off Facebook. When not working, I create content for my Instagram and TikTok accounts. Send us a textWhen Laci Tang experienced painful breastfeeding with her first child, she had no idea it would launch her into a career transforming how mothers receive lactation support. Her journey from anxious first-time mom to innovative IBCLC offers a much-needed blueprint for better postpartum care.Birthing at a midwifery center opened Laci's eyes to a different kind of care—one where she was listened to, believed, and supported in finding real solutions. After navigating tongue ties, low supply, mastitis, and then oversupply with her second baby, she realized how vital individualized support is for breastfeeding success. What makes her practice, Milk in Motion, stand out isn't just her expertise—it's her commitment to personalized care. “There has never been a single dyad, a mom and baby team, that has been exactly like the one before,” she says. Her innovative “pump bar” lets moms test different breast pumps before investing, solving a common frustration many face.Laci also speaks openly about her own postpartum anxiety—from intrusive thoughts to fears about her baby's safety—reminding moms they're not alone. Her story shows that mental health and feeding support go hand in hand.Whether you're expecting or currently struggling, Laci's story is proof that the right support can shift your journey from overwhelm to empowerment.Connect with Laci: https://www.milkinmotion.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/milkinmotion.co/ Join the Bump & Beyond Online Community for moms & moms-to-be!
