Guest speaker Sean Cooper, of Global Serve International, traces the story of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to show that God's purpose has always been to gather a people for Himself from every tongue, tribe, and nation, fulfilled ultimately in Jesus Christ and the Great Commission. He challenges believers to examine whether God's global mission—especially to unreached peoples—truly matters to them, not necessarily by all going, but by all being meaningfully engaged in God's worldwide purpose through the local church.Faith Bible Church is a loving community making disciples of Jesus Christ.View our full archive of sermons and resourcesLearn more about our church

In this episode, Ben and Sarah Green, busy parents of five, share how their family makes hospitality a consistent priority through intentional planning, simple meals, and a whiteboard list of people they want to get together with. They discuss the ways they seek to pass this important value on to their kids. Having joined Faith Bible Church about a year ago they also reflect on how hospitality has helped them build community here. Check out Sarah's cheeseburger soup recipe!
The episode explores what Ted calls “third party partnerships,” a Kingdom model where ministries unite not for their own benefit but for the sake of a third party, illustrated through a deep collaboration to reach the Tarahumara people of northern Mexico. Chris Nickerson of Light Shine shares how their long term work among this hard to reach, historically hope starved indigenous group has grown into indigenous church planting, after school discipleship programs, leadership development, and a staff made up of both Tarahumara believers and Mexican church members. He explains Light Shine's highly relational partnership model, where U.S. churches adopt a specific colonia as their primary mission field and Light Shine provides expertise, on the ground presence, and security wisdom in a cartel impacted region. Tonya Zunigha from Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma describes how coaching from 16:15 helped reorient their missions vision and led them into a long term partnership with Light Shine that offers accessible short term trips, meaningful engagement with a least reached people group, and extensive pre-trip discipleship. As families, elders, retirees, and children pray, give, and go together, missions has become central to Faith Bible's DNA, reshaping their view of God, the nations, and their own calling, while Paul's prayer that the word of God would “run swiftly” is seen fulfilled among a people known for their running.
Psalm 23:6 (NASB) 6 Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever. Happy Thanksgiving from Faith Bible Church!
In the past few decades, God has sent a revival of truth-loving believers. While it is wonderful to be passionate for God's truth, some have turned that truth into a hammer with which to pound others. Dr John Crotts is a recovering truth-hammerer. He has served as a pastor for thirty years at Faith Bible Church near Atlanta, Georgia, USA. In this podcast, Dr Crotts will share important lessons about how we can cultivate hearts of graciousness while maintaining our passion for God's truth.Teaching by Dr John CrottsFor more information on SMTI, please click here: https://smti.co.za/ For more information on the Biblical Counselling Association of Southern Africa (BCASA, formerly ACBC Africa), please click here: https://bcasa.co.za/For more information on Lynnwood Baptist Church, please click here: https://lynnwoodbaptistchurch.co.za/

This episode is a replay of Charlie's interview by Jamie Bryant of Faith Bible Church (The Woodlands, TX) on their Epilogue podcast in a series devoted to the free grace view. They discuss the nature of "saving faith" (a term Charlie thinks needs clarification). Their talk covers the accusation of easy-believism, the intrusion of works into faith, and illustrations of the faith that saves. #gracelifeministries #eternalsecurity #simplebygrace #EpiloguePodcast #FaithBibleChurch
Sam and Erika Haney share about their hospitality and service at Faith Bible Church. They discuss how family and church members have influenced their hospitality and how they adapt their hospitality to different groups, such as youth ministry groups and families. Send us a textGuest: John Crotts, pastor of Faith Bible Church (Sharpsburg, GA)There are lots of issues that consume our attention, such as world events, politics, work, family, recreation, health trials, and more. But there is one issue for the Christian that should be of primary focus—loving God.Loving God means to order our thoughts and actions around what brings glory to God and pleases Him. In fact, Jesus said that loving God with our whole being is “the great and foremost commandment” (Matt. 22:38). Not a suggestion but a commandment. When the believer grows in love of God, he will enthusiastically want to worship and obey Him. Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” Of course—we'll do anything for someone we truly love.So how do we grow in our love of God? Is it about trying to manufacture and maintain affectionate feelings toward God, as a man has for a woman with whom he is in love? Should Christians expect to wake up every day just naturally loving God?John Crotts joins us this weekend on The Christian Worldview to discuss the all-important issue of growing in your love of God. John has been pastor of Faith Bible Church in Sharpsburg, GA for 30 years, hosts the Integrated podcast, and is a fellow with the Fortis Institute, where he produced a video titled, “Head to Heart: Five Ways to Know and Love God.”
A brief update about the future of Faith Bible Church podcasts.
In today's program, Tom wraps a two-part series with guest, Mark Hitchcock. Here's TBC executive director, Tom McMahon.Tom: Thanks, Gary. This is part 2 of our conversation, a discussion about prophecy, and, in particular, blood moons. That's a teaching that's come into the church, and people are excited about it, but it has raised a bit of controversy. And it should, because we have to question whether it's biblical or not. The perspective – I don't care who it is – whatever the person is teaching, if they claim to be speaking for the Bible, then we have a resource to check out what they're saying, just as the Bereans did in Acts 17:11.So my guest, as we get on with this, is Mark Hitchcock. He's the pastor-teacher of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, OK, and the author of a number of books dealing with biblical prophecy, and in particular, that addresses this subject, is Blood Moons Rising, which we offer here at The Berean Call.Mark, welcome back to Search the Scriptures 24/7.Mark: Yeah, thanks for having me back again.
The subject for today and next week is what some are teaching about what the Scripture refers to as a blood moon. Now, it's generated quite a bit of excitement as well as controversy, and, as most of our listeners know, the mission of this program and The Berean Call is to compare whatever is being taught in Christendom today with what is presented in God's Word. And on board to discuss prophecy and in particularly the current teachings regarding blood moons is Mark Hitchcock. He is the pastor/teacher of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, OK, and the author of a number of books dealing with biblical prophecy. His perspective from his book Blood Moons Rising, which we, by the way, offer here at The Berean Call, will be central to our discussion.Mark, welcome to Search the Scriptures 24/7.Mark: Yeah, thanks for having me. It's great to be with you.

Is going to church really that important? I mean, can't we just watch the sermon online so we can stay in our pajamas? What difference does it make if we actually show up or not? Maybe you've been hesitant to go to church because you feel like the church is mainly focused on married people, and, as a single woman, you feel like an outsider. We've asked our friend Tonya back on the podcast to discuss the church with us from a single girl's perspective. You guys met Tonya on Episode 15, where she talked about what it means to help other women grow spiritually–#15 Me, Make Disciples? She's the best of the best in spiritually mentoring women. Tonya is a seasoned, single woman who loves God, life, and people, and she loves the church. In fact, she's the Missions Director at Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma.
