We talk about anyone and anything. But for the record, politics are REALLY boring, sooooooo hard pass
Over the course of nearly five decades, Warm Springs, Arkansas was home to an adolescent treatment facility called The Lords Ranch/Trinity Behavioral Health. At this facility in particular, there have been reports of physical abuse so severe that bones were broken and stitches were necessary. There have also been reports of sexual assault between male staff members and female residents. Even scarier, there have been multiple cases of residents who married staff members when they turned 18--similar to how a cult would operate. Despite receiving federal funding, there were several years of forced participation in religious activities at this facility. Due to the federal funding, this went against the separation of church and state laws established in the 1800s. It also contradicted their website's claim that all religious activity was optional. Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee increased their funding while The Lords Ranch would fly him in their private plane and make campaign contributions during election time. This money that they handed to Huckabee came from the excessive funding that Huckabee provided The Lords Ranch. Before Huckabee was Governor, he used to have private meetings with Bud Suhl at the ranch. The ranch also used Bill Clinton's private plane from time to time. This is just the tip of the iceberg, as our podcast will contain hours of content.I hope you enjoy this preview.
I'm truly sorry for my actions. I don't need you to respond. I just hope you and your family are okay. I'll be rooting for each of you.
Ryan invited previous staff members and residents of The Lords Ranch to come on and share their story.
This episode of the podcast includes a plan I've had with Cliff Robinson for like ten years. Cliff has an incredible radio voice. I've always told him that if I were ever on the radio, I would need that beautiful voice to be used as my introduction. A podcast is our modern radio and this worked perfectly. Cliff recorded words that ring true to me and I'm betting to a lot of you. Major props on the perfection and seriously, thank you for going out of your way to do that for me, buddy. Me and Kyle Esh, for the first time, in a long time, possibly EVER, spoke on the phone. I won't lie to you... Me and Kyle have one of those ridiculous hardly-see-each-other friendships where the companionship probably shouldn't even be real. But we've maintained contact and I do consider him a friend and somebody (one of the few) who can give me a good laugh. I removed a few things each of us said during this conversation after they were deemed too controversial to be made public. Having said that, there's still a metric fuck ton of conttroversy that I chose not to remove.I'd also like to applaud Kyle for beating the longest podcast record length at a record-shattering 3 Hours, 10 minutes, 40 seconds. Congratulations and well done.
Logan Wik is a former coworker from when I worked at Blockbuster. We more or less lost contact over the years. But we had a great conversation on this episode of the podcast. We spoke of Logan's divorce and I really admired his candor about the situation. I also finally spoke about a nasty rumor that has plagued me for years--a false rumor that can ruin lives and one that unfortunately happens more often than many of us would like to believe. Coincidentally, this was the same night that Logan came out of the closet to me--a good reason to ignore phone calls from the same girl you just saw less than 30 minutes ago :]Anyway, without further ado, enjoy my conversation with the one and only Logan Wik!
My former boss is crashing at my place tonight. SOOOOO Im gonna hit him that that podcast question. We'll see what happens tonight! I also talk about other stuff you should check out. DO IT UP! Rewards could be on the way. Talk to you kids soon.
My family at home is more important than my work family. (Work families aren't real families) Coworkers are and always will be fake funny. My laughs at your jokes are fake and they always be, Fun fact: IDGAF what you think about Covid conspiracies. Charles Manson, the cult leader, was a decent singer. Look up "Home is Where You're Happy" and Look at Your Game Girl.If I work with my head phones in while you stand around talking about sports for 40 minutes, then you're the problem--not me. Also, being forced to take lunch is STOOOOOOOPID! CHEERS!
I recently found out that I had been paying for two Spectrum accounts at the same time:1. My current internet service.2. My previous internet service at my old apartment. Both accounts were on auto-pay even though I had returned the Spectrum router when I moved houses. Unfortunately, Spectrum refused to pay me back for the account at an address that I haven't lived at in like two years.I decided to make them a video detailing the ridiculousness of the situation. I also played their commercials at the end of my video.I was told I should have formally shut the account down instead of only returning the hardware. I asked for them to show some discrepancy as this was clearly an error of which I hadn't benfetitted at all. I was still told no on the phone until I reached out to them on Facebook. I made a video (you'll hear the audio of this video during this podcast and sent it to their live feed. They asked me to DM them so that we could discuss it further. After the two weeks of back and forth, a woman named Michelle said they would REFUND me entirely. The number came out to $2417.48 instead of the $00.00 I was previously told I would receive..Never give up. You never know what might happen if you keep trying. And thank the good lord for social media. Also thank you for making things right, Spectrum. Persistence paid off!
Rest easy, Dee....I recently had the pleasure of participating in multiple phone “interviews” with Dionna Fields. I put interviews in quotes because most of our conversations were spent laughing and exchanging stories.Consider yourself lucky if you ever had a chance to talk to her.I'll still never forget when we were teenagers, and Dionna an Carrington Williiams secretly kissed and got busted. Now, almost two decades later, they're both gone. It's so sad..
Per a Facebook Q&A, Ryan gives his thoughts on trans women in sports, Elon Musk, and the noticeable changes in the UFC.
Amber Burns tells me about a crazy life filled with murder, sexual assault, overdoses, seven years in prison and much MUCH more. It's unbelievable how far she's come as a person and I couldn't be more proud of her.
Ryan did a late night podcast with one Lucas Herrin. Let's see what the tall boy has been up to.
Today, Ryan answered questions from his Facebook friends AMA.
When Ted Suhl became Souless Tedd and hired a bunch of sociopaths, he turned a treatment facility into a criminal factory. But make no mistake. This was problem long before Ted took over for Bud Suhl. Connections to politicians coupled with business practice can make you nearly untouchable in todays society. Every crime mentioned in this podcast is alleged and has not been proven in a court of law. However, there are several alleged witnesses who these accusations stem from.
In this podcast, Ryan discusses some flaws with some of our state child abuse laws. The laws seem rather beneficial to abusive residential treatment facilities, and completely unfair to the many victims of these hell holes. When a child abuser can work as an analyst on the Big 10 Network while the many victims live with the mental consequences of growing up under the reign of abusive sociopaths, we have a serious problem with the rehabilitative services for our children in this country.
Hey guys! Karen Dukowitz requested I generate a podcast about stray animals. Strays often live horrible lives and are often euthanized in the end. So lets ditch the puppy mills and start adopting both cats and dogs--old and young!Episodes are now available on Apple as well as Spotify.
This episode is dedicated to Zion. Zion was a dog who showed me how horrible some dogs' lives are. It honestly reminded me of being in a residential treatment facility. I'll never treat someone or something how I was treated in that place. Love will always be the answerBella and Nova are mine and Alicia's dogs. I bought a home so I could own them. My apartment wouldn't allow it. Here's the story of how we did everything we could do to adopt them in a very short window:At the end of the episode are detailed instructions on how how to sign up for a Charity donation program run by Amazon. It won't cost you a dime. It will only take money out of Amazon's profits from your purchases. Go to smile.amazon.com and attach your profile. Then you choose a charity. I chose Stray Rescue of Saint Louis but you're welcome to choose any charity you'd like. After signing up, a percentage of their profits will go to the charity of your choosing. Also, fuck the Wuhan Dog Festival. Pure evil.
Henry became upset with me when Mitch and I discussed him being depantsed during our podcast episode. I used that particularly funny story for a podcast advertisement and it set Henry off. He blocked me on Facebook and was cursing me out on the phone about a prank from 20 years ago. I was stunned by his reaction and posted some stuff on Facebook about it. I've had a lot of people ask me several questions about it, so I decided to explain everything here. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in his reaction. The podcast in question had embarrassing stories about all of us. But all of us except Henry thought they were funny and were able to laugh at ourselves.. Mine was when my brother walked in on me pissing and he laughed so hard at how small my penis was (It's much bigger now
Some of you may have already heard this story. If you did, I encourage you to scroll to the last few minutes for an update on our adolescent facility investigation. This podcast shares a story of a time I was in a religious residential treatment facility and forced into an exorcism. Even worse, the exorcist was mentally handicapped. But the facility staff members were so under qualified that they actually believed the exorcism to be authentic....until I more or less proved otherwise. On a different note, we are currently working on an investigative podcast that will surprise any and all who choose to listen. Until that podcast is released, I recommend subscribing to this podcast and giving it a five star rating. If you're interested in doing an interview with me about facilities or just random topics, let me know and we can make it happen. Thank you for your support!
Mitch Spencer is a DJ who works at car shows, football games, weddings and anywhere else where his services are requested. He has a high quality DJ system that can function completely wirelessly.Mitch is also a good friend I've known for over two decades as we both grew up broke in South Saint Louis early on in our lives. His childhood was hilariously tumultuous to put it lightly and I liken his parents to a couple of hells angels.I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much I enjoyed our conversation.
