Jesus triumphantly entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday as the crowd proclaimed him as King. Jesus is King, but not as the people supposed. Jesus chose a cross as his throne, thorns as his crown, and sacrifice as his mission. Verses: John 12: 12-33, Luke 14: 26 Pastor: Daniel Hendrickson
The writer of Hebrews in this section has us running through the exhibits of individuals in the Hall of Faith. He lists all sorts of people who lived by faith. The list is somewhat shocking because many of the individuals have obvious flaws. Yet the writer of Hebrews reminds us that God is able to do great things through flawed individuals. Believers are not perfect, yet if they live in faith towards God, He can do some incredible things through them.

On June 9, 2026, Serena Williams marked a triumphant return to professional tennis by winning her first doubles match at the Queen's Club Championships in London. At the age of 44 and after nearly four years away from competitive play (1,375 days), the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion partnered with 19-year-old Canadian prodigy Victoria Mboko. Together, they achieved a remarkable 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 victory over the third-seeded team of Erin Routliffe and Nicole Melichar-Martinez.Williams swiftly dispelled any signs of rust, showcasing powerful serves that reached speeds of up to 120 mph, complemented by her signature aggressive baseline winners. She concluded the match impressively, serving out the final game with two consecutive aces followed by a decisive service winner. In front of a completely sold-out audience at the Andy Murray Arena, Williams received enthusiastic support from her husband and her two daughters, Olympia and Adira. This marked the first occasion that her youngest daughter, Adira (born in 2023), witnessed her mother compete in a live professional match.Reflecting on her return to the WTA Tour, Williams shared how natural and enjoyable the experience felt: "I had so much fun playing with Victoria. She was really able to hold up the team and play big on the big points... I got tired of sitting at home. My kids are out of school for the summer, so why not? I never got to play here, it was always just the men. It feels really special to play somewhere so iconic." Tournament Outlook & Next StepsQuarterfinals: Williams and Mboko advance to the quarterfinals at the Queen's Club, where they will compete against the pairing of Canada's Leylah Fernandez and Germany's Laura Siegemund.Grass-Court Season: Williams has also accepted a doubles wildcard for the upcoming Berlin Open next week.Singles & Wimbledon Uncertainties: Although her return has created a stir in the sporting community, Williams has indicated that she is taking things "a day at a time" and has not yet made a decision regarding her participation in the singles draw or at Wimbledon later this month.

Marc Morano talks about his decades covering climate politics and his view that the climate movement is in rapid collapse due to overreach, public skepticism, and post-COVID distrust of “appeal to authority.” Morano contrasts Trump 1.0's limited actions with Trump 2.0's aggressive agenda: hundreds of pro-energy moves, exits from numerous UN bodies, a push to end the EPA CO2 endangerment finding, and a consensus-busting climate report later vacated over procedural issues. He says Democrats, media, Wall Street, and major figures like Bezos and Gates have gone quiet or shifted, while UN COP summits have become smaller and scandal-prone. He warns climate controls may reappear via public-health framing and future administrations.00:00 Marc Morano Returns00:36 Climate Movement Hits Low02:31 Trump 1.0 vs 2.0 Setup04:02 UN Climate Origins and Data Wars07:14 GOP Nominees and Climate Drift09:23 Trump 1.0 Wins and Limits11:27 Biden Reversal and Green Mandates14:57 Trump 2.0 Energy Blitz15:19 Consensus Report Court Setback16:58 Zeldin Targets Endangerment Finding18:55 Iran War and Energy Shock Risk20:00 Media Silence and Narrative Flip21:59 Great Reset and WEF Agenda27:22 Elites Pivot From Climate to AI28:13 COVID Blowback Fuels Skepticism33:42 Mainstream Admits Net Zero Failure40:25 UN Summits Implode at COP3044:28 Amazon Highway Coverup45:39 Burgers Not Bugs46:57 Toilet Paper Contraband49:06 Summit Results Reality Check51:40 Billionaires Media Flip56:11 Energy Boom Coal Security57:56 Climate Agenda Collapse01:00:19 Narrative Culture War01:02:46 Rio Treaty Withdrawal01:05:20 Endangerment Finding Repeal01:08:27 Climate Meets Public Health01:11:31 Next Scares New Summits01:18:43 COP Future And Coalition01:25:40 Closing Thanks And Wraphttps://x.com/ClimateDepotClimate ranked #35 of 39 American voter issues: https://x.com/davidshor/status/2033906948525928569=========Slides, summaries, references, and transcripts of my podcasts: https://tomn.substack.com/p/podcast-summariesMy Linktree: https://linktr.ee/tomanelson1

Triumphant griffin scream!! We're back with Derk's brood 8 years after the events of Dark Lord of Derkholm, and it's his daughter Elda's time to shine. She's enrolled at the Wizards' University alongside fellow oddball first years Felim, Olga, Lukin, Ruskin and Claudia, and they're realizing there's not much learning to be had there. When the inept chairman Corkoran, obsessed with flying to the moon and uninterested in all else, betrays their secret enrollment, the university is beset by assassins and concerned relatives. We discuss the lure of a magical pit, terrible admins, Giant Woman / Tiny Man romance, and why DWJ absolutely owns a Fantasy Romp. Share a commentDeath has a way of haunting every plan we make, and we're remarkably creative at pretending we can keep it at arm's length. We start with a strange American story that makes the point in concrete and lumber: Sarah Winchester spends decades building a sprawling mansion because she believes nonstop construction will keep a curse and death away. It's haunting, tragic, and familiar, because we all have our own versions of endless building, endless motion, and endless coping. From there, we open Romans 5 and follow Paul's clear argument about sin and death. Adam is not just a historical figure, he is the head of a fallen humanity where death reigns like a king. Jesus Christ is the “second Adam,” the head of a redeemed humanity where grace reigns through righteousness to eternal life. We talk about why it feels unfair to be connected to Adam, why the gospel is just as bold in offering Christ's righteousness as a gift, and how bad readings of the passage fuel universalism or reduce Jesus to merely another man. Then we tackle one of the most surprising lines in the Bible: the law comes in so transgression increases. With relatable examples like stop signs and speed limits, we explore how rules expose the rebel heart, and why that sets the stage for the best news of all: where sin piles up, grace hyper-abounds. If you're wrestling with guilt, fear of judgment, or the feeling that you've exhausted God's patience, this conversation aims straight at the heart of Christian hope, biblical grace, and salvation by faith. Mark 11 -Palm Sunday and Cleansing the Temple Monday
Most leaders want change, but we often avoid the one place it has to start. Truth. In this encore presentation of our conversation with David Johnson, we challenge the instinct to jump straight to vision and instead ground ourselves in reality. We explore why leaders struggle to be fully transparent, how avoiding hard truths slows everything down, and what it really takes to move people through resistance. We walk through how to create momentum with early wins, how to focus on the people who are willing but waiting, and why transformation is not about tearing things down but building something stronger. This is a conversation that shifts how we think about change. When we face where we are with clarity and lead with honesty, we create the conditions for real progress and lasting results. Key Takeaways: Reality First – We learn why honest assessment is the foundation of effective change. Build Momentum – We see how early wins create energy and forward movement. Transparency Wins – We understand how openness builds trust and engagement. Focus the Middle – We learn how to influence the majority who are undecided. Change Creates Value – We discover how transformation strengthens entire systems. Unshackling The Truth: Triumphant Over Injustice by Keith Tyrone Bush https://www.amazon.com/Unshackling-Truth-Triumphant-Over-Injustice/dp/B0DD5QPHBX This is a true story about a teenage boy victimized by the criminal justice system and made to suffer for over 44-years of his life for a crime he had literally nothing to do with. Moreover, the arresting detectives and prosecutor, to name a few, who took an oath to protect and uphold the law were some of the very same ones who hid information that would have proved his innocence. Instead, they threw him in a cage to die. In one of America’s most shocking criminal justice exoneration cases in the country, for the first time, Keith Tyrone Bush gives his own account of his injustice and leaves us with the journey he travelled to make it back home. In this extraordinary empowerment endeavor, Keith beats the odds and proves the so-called experts wrong. Ultimately, Keith would unshackle the truth and triumphant over injustice!
