The US is trying to get construction efforts underway in Gaza, on the Israeli side of the yellow ceasefire line, with efforts to first clear rubble from the Rafah area to build alternative safe communities. Magid discusses the pushback from Israel's government coalition, which is concerned with the issue of Hamas disarmament, while it's also unclear if Gazans would want to live under Israeli control. Magid also talks about the revelation that US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee held a private meeting in July with Jonathan Pollard, the former US Navy analyst who served 30 years in a US prison for spying for Israel. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, Venezuela, Mexico, and Communist China, are flooding the U.S. with deadly poisons killing many young people. Unlike others who merely complain, President Trump uses his presidential powers and the military to intervene, such as destroying a drug-laden Venezuelan boat and giving orders to eliminate threats like encroaching Venezuelan jets. The reaction from the left is to find a court or a law to try and prevent Trump from protecting Americans from enemies foreign and domestic. Afterward, we're glad to see all those attacking pro-military conservatives as "warmongers" now celebrating the Department of War. We were never warmongers. And we salute POTUS and what he is doing for DOD and our national security. He was never an isolationist or appeaser or pacificist. Peace through strength. Also, Tucker Carlson, Qatarlson, conducted an entire program using a disgruntled reportedly former contractor, who was apparently dropped by the State Department, to smear Mark's step-son David Milstein, who works for Ambassador Huckabee, as well as Huckabee, Speaker Mike Johnson, the entire Rubio State Department, and President Trump's policies. Qatarlson believes that libeling a family member is fair game. Ask yourself, what causes someone like Qatarlson to become so thoroughly evil that they promote 9/11 conspiracies, host Holocaust deniers and Hitler promoters, lavish praise on Putin and other monsters, smear our country's history, military, and great leaders, spread vicious lies and hate about our allies like Israel, trash President Trump for successfully defending our nation against the Iranian terrorist regime and its nuclear program, and smear our country's history? Later, ​unlike ​Joe ​Biden, ​Trump ​is ​protecting ​Christians, ​not ​punishing ​them. DOJ released a report exposing systematic anti-Christian bias under the Biden administration. This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.  President Trump's mediator Steve Witkoff and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee made a fact-finding mission to Gaza last week aimed at ascertaining the ground-truth about the effort to feed its people without providing life-support to Hamas. They utterly repudiated the blood libels being told about Israel deliberately, and relentlessly, starving Gazans.  Mr. Witkoff said flatly “There is hardship and shortage, but no starvation in Gaza.” And Amb. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims slaughtered 27 Christians including 3-year-old girl At 3:00 a.m. on July 15th, the Christian village of Bindi near Jos in the Plateau State in Nigeria, was plunged into a nightmare. Twenty-seven Christians were slaughtered, including a 3-year-old girl and nine members of Pastor Davou Musa's family, burned alive in their home, reports TruthNigeria.com. These attacks are not isolated incidents. They are part of a coordinated, radical Islamic campaign carried out by Fulani terrorists, with a mission to eradicate Christians from Nigeria and establish a Muslim caliphate. The perpetrators shouted “Allahu Akbar” as they hacked, shot, and burned families alive. One pastor shed light on what that Arabic phrase means. PASTOR: “Allah Akbar. Some will translate that as ‘God is great.' ‘ Perhaps a better translation of that Arabic phrase is, ‘Our God is greater.' This is a declaration that the demon and demons working through these people consider themselves to be greater than Jesus Christ, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. “Ephesians 6:[12] says that our war is not just ‘against flesh and blood, but powers, principalities and spirits.' Practically, what this means is, when you see conflict in the seen realm, there is far greater conflict in the unseen realm. And when you hear, ‘Our God is greater,' that is a declaration of spiritual warfare from a demon against Jesus Christ, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.” And where was the military? Just two miles away, but they arrived two hours late, a disturbing pattern of complicity that Christians have endured over and over again. Huckabee rebukes attackers of Christian church in Palestinian town U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee condemned recent attacks on a Christian village and its historic church in the West Bank, calling them “a crime against humanity and God,” reports The Christian Post. His statement came after visiting the site of the arson and ongoing harassment. Huckabee travelled Saturday to Taybeh, a Christian Palestinian town that residents say has endured a wave of assaults by Israeli settlers in recent weeks, according to The Times of Israel.  The attacks include a fire set near the ruins of the Church of St. George, which church leaders described as among the most severe incidents to date. Huckabee, a longtime Evangelical supporter of Israel, said during his visit that the desecration of religious sites represented “an act of terror” and that such actions should carry “harsh consequences.” Trump diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after leg swelling Last Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gave the press an update on President Donald Trump's health. She told reporters that he has experienced mild swelling in his lower legs, according to a memo from Dr. Sean Barbarella, the physician to the president. LEAVITT: “The president underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies. Bilateral lower extremity veinous doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign, common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.” Leavitt also talked about photos showing some minor bruising on the back of the President's hand. She explained the bruising is a minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, reports CBN News. Amen.” Why Republicans defunded NPR and PBS The U.S. Congress voted to defund the Public Broadcasting Corporation by $1.1 billion, reports The Epoch Times. Republican Congressman Brandon Gill of Texas spoke from the floor of the House. GILL: “Tonight is the culmination of months of work from House Republicans to defund left wing state sponsored media outlets like NPR. “During that process, we got to bring in leadership from these outlets, like the CEO of NPR, Katherine Maher to testify before the House Oversight Committee she's written extensively about every single major woke buzz word that you could think of, including, ‘the ravages of late stage capitalism,' ‘structural privilege,' her own ‘cis white mobility privilege.'  Most Americans, including myself, didn't know what that meant until reading this. “She's written about how ‘I do wish Hillary, [meaning Hillary Clinton], wouldn't use the language of ‘boy and girl.' It's erasing language for non-binary people. “This is the person running the outlet the other side of the aisle wants our tax dollars to subsidize non-partisan news outlets are not run by lunatics like this. Republicans are done using the power that voters give us to fund Democrat media machines. We're playing to win now.” Chip and Joanna Gaines promote homosexuality on new TV show And finally, Christians across America are objecting to the moral compromise of self-proclaimed Christians Chip and Joanna Gaines known for their home renovation show Fixer Upper and the Magnolia Network, reports the New York Post. As producers of a new reality show “Back to the Frontier” which premiered on July 10th, they sparked backlash for casting a homosexual male couple. A source close to Chip and Joanna – who cast a faux-married couple Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs and their 10-year-old twin sons through surrogacy – says they have long affirmed perversion. Conservative Christian leaders like Reverend Franklin Graham and podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey both slammed their decision, with Graham calling the casting “very disappointing.”  Graham was clear in his stance, writing: “His Word is absolute truth. God loves us, and His design for marriage is between one man and one woman.” This prompted Chip to pour gasoline on the controversy by tweeting: “The way of ‘modern American Christian culture' is ‘Judge 1st, understand later/never.' ”  Christian author Matt Walsh replied, “Maybe you should endeavor to understand the basic moral teachings of your own alleged religion before you give lectures to other people about their lack of understanding.” And Robby Starbuck, another Christian influencer, said, “Promoting this show means cash is greater than Christianity. When you reduce it to that simple truth, it's eye opening. I hope you correct course Chip. ‘For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?'” (Matthew 16:26) The TV couple – parents to five children ranging between 20 and seven in age – are active members of the traditionally conservative Antioch Community Church of Waco, Texas. There are people who have résumés we might call “diverse” or “wide-ranging.” And then there are people like Mike Huckabee who, at age 69, has seemingly crammed several lifetimes' worth of careers into one. He was a televangelist. He was governor of Arkansas for over a decade. He ran for president and won the Iowa caucuses. He hosted his own show on Fox News for seven years. He's written books on everything from Christmas to weight loss. And now he's America's ambassador to Israel. And he's filling that post at a moment when the longtime status quo in the region is being completely upended. Israel is inching closer to eradicating Hamas in Gaza—but the day-after plan is unclear. Iran is feared to be on the cusp of developing nuclear weapons, and Trump and Steve Witkoff are working hard on a renewed Iran nuclear deal. Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, and even Syria, could normalize relations with Israel. But Islamist terror groups are trying to derail any attempts at lasting peace. And American adversaries like China and Russia are trying to take advantage of any instability in the region. Suffice it to say, it's a time of great uncertainty. Meanwhile, Huckabee is in some way redefining what it means to be Israel's ambassador. He's been outspoken in criticizing inaccurate press accounts about the conflict, and he's been ardent in his support of the Jewish state. And while most ambassadors exist behind the scenes, Mike Huckabee has been in front of the cameras, making the case for Israel and its war with Hamas directly to Americans. It could even be argued that he's making a better case for Israel than the Israeli government itself. So today on Honestly, Ambassador Huckabee and I discuss all of that and more—the rise of antisemitism in the U.S. and the West more broadly, the future of America's involvement in the Middle East, and the fight between doves and hawks in Trump's 2.0 presidency. One final note: This interview ended abruptly. The ambassador took a call from Israel, and at 10 p.m., the rocket sirens blared and he had 90 seconds to get to the shelter. It's something normalized in Israeli life. Talk to any parents, and they'll talk about having to wake their kids up several times a week because of these sirens. But it also serves as a constant reminder of the persistent threat Israel faces—and not just from Hamas.  There were so many other great things I wanted to ask him about—particularly the right's antisemitism.
