It is based on the everlasting word of God so its message is everlasting as well. It's purpose and meaning has not changed, because God has not changed!

Has the method or methods of evangelism contained in the Book of Acts become obsolete? It is most certainly true, that we are authorized to utilize expedients in the work of evangelism, but we can never substitute expedients for essentials. The Acts of the Apostles must never become obsolete in the work of evangelism and in the methods implored in that work!

The Bible teaches us that God is sovereign over all creation and is the only one who can truly be trusted to rule over it. As humans, we often believe that we can trust in the things we invent instead of the creator who allows invention. In his lesson we will ask the question on whom or on what do I depend?

The conversation about the right to life used to be about where does life begin. Now the question has become, who has the right to determine when it should end. We cannot just be blamed on feminism, poverty, sexual promiscuity, irresponsibility, ones political affiliation, or other factors. However, when thought about from the very root of it, the question boils down to an acceptance or rejection of the sanctity of life and sovereignty of God. The great irony of the debate is that only the living can decide its merit. The dead know nothing of the living (Eccl 9:5) and those not yet alive are unaware of any of it! Another great irony I have observed, is that most who claim to have the right to choose whether life should be maintained are those who are against taking the life of someone who has taken someones else's life i.e. “anti capital punishment”.
What is the most pressing issue facing our nation? The one thing that God has always been displeased with, among any people or nation is when His creation devalues the life that He has given them. The sanctity of life, I believe is the most pressing issue we face. God has never blessed or protected any nation that loses sight of the precious gift of life!

No investor is satisfied with getting back only what they put in as the original investment. When investments are made there is always the hope of getting back a greater return than the investment. In the "Parable of the Talents" (Matthew 25:13-30) the Lord teaches us that he expects a return.
