In this episode, I interview Paula Schroeder from Aging Matters in Brevard. This non-profit has a multitude of programs for the senior population on the Space Coast.

In this episode, I interview Desire' Stewart about Stewart Law and The Paper Clinic. The Paper Clinic is a co-working space in Viera Florida that grew from the need to find office space for their Law Firm. We discuss the challenges of working from home, benefits a co-working space can provide, and the events she offers to set the tone for the space she has created.

In this episode of Space Coast Stories, I interview Tanveer Syed, a Ph.D. student at Florida Tech. Tanveer is pursuing a Doctorate in Science Education with a mission to study how technology can be used to help visually impaired students learn. Tanveer is a legally blind student who combines his personal experiences with a solid educational background to develop more inclusive solutions for delivering educational principles. His educational background includes a BSC Honors Degree in Human Physiology from the University of Leeds, an MSC in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford, and a Master’s of Arts in Education and Human Development from George Washington University right here in the United States.

Space Coast Stories host Kim Shivler is a Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach. In this solo episode, she shares a basic introduction to the use of strengths in helping people achieve their goals including how she uses her top five strengths to help her coaching clients.

In this episode, I interview Ricardo Alvarez, better known on the Space Coast as Computer Rich. Rich owns a computer repair and service business that has recently grown from being a solely remote business where he works on-site at customer's locations, to having a physical store front.   Rich shares what you need to know about malware and the best way to protect your computer and its files along with his business mindset that led to renting a physical storefront.

This week, I interview Christina Principe, a licensed Mental Health Counselor on Florida's Space Coast. Christina explains how using Mindfulness in her practice helps her guide people through times of transition in their lives.

In this episode, I talk to Kristen Barry about how the diagnostic tool thermography can help find health issues while there is still time to make changes and resolve these issues. We talk about breast thermography versus mammograms and how this non-invasive procedure can detect problems with breast tissue before tumors form. And, while many people think of thermography only in regards to breast exams, Kristen showed us ways it can help with many other areas of our bodies to help us achieve optimal health. 

In this episode, I interview Dr. Christine Salinas. She is a neuropsychologist and we talk about brain health for both children and adults including topics on Traumatic Brain Injury, learning disabilities, and even different learning styles.

This week, I interview Melbourne native, Dr. Ryan Dalzell. Dr. Dalzell is a chiropractor and wellness coach whose concierge practice helps people feel better from Palm Bay to Cocoa. Unlike many chiropractors, he comes to your home or office, so you don't have to make a trip.

If you have a manufacturing business, private school, church, or non-profit organization in Brevard County, FL, you are possibly losing money every month because of errors on your utility bills. In this episode, I interview Rich Franck of Audit Associates. He explains some of the frequent errors that may appear on your utility bills and has a service to identify those errors and fix them for you. And one great thing about his service, is that he only gets paid if he saves you money.

In this episode, I have a chance to sit down with Richard Rossiter, the founder of The Rossiter System, a pain relief system of bodywork. Richard explains why this system will provide long term pain relief more than massage or even many medications. Richard developed this system while working for a neurosurgeon providing pain relief to his patients. In this episode, I interview certified yoga instructor and Thai massage practitioner Jennifer Cleveland about a 10 week class she is holding on the Yamas and Niyamas. This free, self-study will allow people to learn the ethical guidelines of yoga and apply them for personal development.

In the 1970's movies and books spread tales of strange disappearances in The Bermuda Triangle. While many scientific theories are available for the planes and boats that have disappeared, sometimes without a trace, the legends rely on the supernatural and mysterious with theories ranging from aliens to the lost city of Atlantis. One of the most famous incidents occurred on December 5, 1945 when a squadron left Ft. Lauderdale Naval Air Station on a routine training mission and was never seen, again. Florida's Space Coast played a role in this part of the legend.

In this episode, I interview Keith Gee, the Executive Director of the Children’s Hunger Project. This group is dedicated to feeding Brevard County's elementary school age children on the weekend. Have you ever thought of children who depend on eating a school lunch and what happens to them on the weekend? The Children’s Hunger Project sends home packs of food each week for 2000 children in Brevard County and the need is growing.

He loves working with Ascendance because the company also funds a local, non-profit called Judah which serves people who may not be served by other charitable organizations.
