Quando le luci false e artificiali delle nostre presunzioni, delle ideologie che cercano di far violenza all'autenticità delle cose, delle nostre pretese di imporre noi, dal di fuori, le norme e il senso del vivere; quando le luci false e artificiali si spengono, allora e solo allora Dio si rivela. Quando il chiasso del nostro compiacimento, del nostro orgoglio, del nostro disperato agitarci si acquieta, allora e solo allora si fa sentire la voce del cielo e ci giunge notizia del mondo invisibile e vero.Così è avvenuto in quella notte unica e decisiva, che noi siamo ancora qui a ricordare e a rivivere dopo duemila anni. Così è difficile che avvenga nella notte dell'uomo di oggi, pasciuto eppur spiritualmente denutrito, assetata di verità e abbeverato quotidianamente di vuote parole, avido di luce vera e accecato dai bagliori fatui del suo sconsolato sapere.È difficile, ma non impossibile. Quando venne la pienezza del tempo, Dio mandò il suo Figlio (Gal 4, 4), ha scritto San Paolo. Dunque Dio ha un Figlio: non è l'infinità gelida e inerte dell'essere senza confini, che avevano intravisto i filosofi, ma è paternità sostanziale, è fecondità, è donazione, è amore. Dio è Padre: non è solo l'artefice ingegnoso che ha costruito l'universo e poi se ne è andato per i fatti suoi, ma è un padre affettuoso che non può non pensare a noi, che ci insegue col suo desiderio di farci felici, che non si dà pace finché non ci vede ricondotti nel calore della sua casa.Il Natale è la smentita più recisa e più alta dell'idea – che qualche volta gli uomini insipientemente si fanno - di un Dio lontano e distratto, chiuso nel suo cielo e indifferente a ciò che avviene sulla terra.Dio - continua San Paolo - mandò suo Figlio, nato da donna (Gal 4,4). Il Figlio di Dio è nato da una donna: questo è il grande evento del Natale, che ha stupito e commosso così tanto gli uomini che essi in tutta la terra continuano a ritenere il giorno che lo commemora come il giorno più nobile e santo, anche se la maggior parte di loro non si ricorda più la ragione dello stupore e il motivo della commozione.Il Figlio di Dio è nato da donna come noi. Ha assunto tutta l'esistenza umana, con l'umiltà e la fragilità della nostra nascita, con la sofferenza che immancabilmente l'accompagna, con la morte che fatalmente la conclude. È diventato dei nostri. Si è fatto partecipe di tutta la nostra sorte, e così l'ha consacrata e divinizzata.IL VERBO DI DIO È DIVENUTO UNO DI NOI PERCHÉ NOI DIVENTASSIMO COME LUIIl Figlio di Dio è venuto alla luce nello squallore di una mangiatoia, dopo aver ricevuto l'avvilimento di un rifiuto: non c'era posto per loro nell'albergo (Lc 2, 7). Ma la sua venuta non è un puro abbassarsi; il Natale non è l'esaltazione della povertà e dell'umiliazione per la povertà e per l'umiliazione. L'Unigenito del Padre è diventato uno di noi perché noi diventassimo come lui, insigniti della stessa dignità di figli di Dio. La nostra gioia non si fonda sul fatto, preso per se stesso, che un bambino è nato per noi (Is 9, 5); ma sul fatto che il bambino, che è nato, è chiamato ed è Dio potente, Padre per sempre, Principe della pace (Is 9,5). La nostra gioia deriva dal fatto che ci è nato un salvatore, e quindi è apparsa la grazia di Dio, apportatrice di salvezza per tutti gli uomini (Tt 2, 11). Vale a dire: la gioia natalizia può scaturire solo dal pieno accoglimento della visione di fede.In una fede chiara, semplice, ferma - che conosce e riconosce il Figlio unigenito di Dio che "per noi uomini e per la nostra salvezza discese dal cielo... e si è fatto uomo" - consiste la vera accoglienza del Natale e del suo messaggio.Il Signore ci conceda di accoglierlo come i pastori, non di rifiutarlo come hanno fatto gli abitanti di Betlem. E questo sia il più sostanzioso augurio natalizio: saper accogliere il Signore Gesù, nella sua parola, nel sacramento della sua presenza che ogni domenica ci convoca attorno all'altare, nella fedeltà alla sua Chiesa, nei fratelli che si trovano nel bisogno e si appellano a noi; essere e restare consapevoli che Gesù è venuto "per riscattarci da ogni iniquità e formarsi un popolo puro che gli appartenga"; impegnarci a lavorare perché si conosca e si esalti la gloria di Dio e si affermi la pace in terra per gli uomini che Dio ama.2) MESSA DEL GIORNOIl Natale è indubbiamente un giorno unico nella serie dei nostri giorni. Oggi il mondo sembra diverso; perfino gli uomini - "durum genus", gente dura e spietata, come ha detto un grande e umanissimo poeta latino - oggi sembrano diversi e più buoni.Che cosa è avvenuto in questo giorno? Niente di straordinario, parrebbe: una donna ha dato alla luce un figlio, che è stato avvolto in fasce e deposto in una mangiatoia. Dove sta la novità, dove sta la grandezza? Chi è questo bambino che, dopo duemila anni, riesce ancora a incantare il mondo, a placare per un po' rancori, odi, accanimenti, ad ammansire per qualche momento gli uomini, cioè le creature più feroci che respirano sulla terra?Di chi è questa nascita, così miserabile da sembrare quella di un figlio di vagabondi, e così decisiva che da essa si contano gli anni della storia? Quali sono le vere ragioni della nostra festa?Non cerchiamo la risposta nel sentimentalismo senza contenuti di verità, nel quale troppe volte va a stemperarsi e a estenuarsi la vigorosa autenticità del Natale. Non cerchiamo la risposta nella superficialità e nella leggerezza con la quale la più rivoluzionaria esaltazione della povertà e del silenzio è stata trasformata in occasione per ostentare la nostra abbondanza e per accrescere la nostra agitazione e il nostro chiasso.Cerchiamo piuttosto la risposta nella parola di Dio.IL NATALE È AFFERMAZIONE DELLA VITAOgni nascita è un trionfo della vita; ma questa lo è in modo unico e trascendente, perché il piccolo nato in una stalla, che noi adoriamo, è colui che possiede la pienezza della vita ed è il principio di ciò che esiste: Tutto è stato fatto per mezzo di lui... In lui era la vita (Gv 1, 3-4), abbiamo ascoltato.Se è affermazione della vita, il Natale è, nella sua sostanza, condanna di ogni pensiero, di ogni atto, di ogni pratica, di ogni legislazione, di ogni comportamento privato e pubblico che sia apportatore di morte.L'egoismo umano - spesso ammantandosi ipocritamente dei nomi più suggestivi - ha esteso sempre più ampiamente tra noi una cultura di morte: per questa cultura si arriva a soffocare la vita nascente e addirittura a ritenere una conquista sociale il diritto di uccidere gli esseri più innocenti, più indifesi quindi più sacri; per questa cultura di morte c'è gente che, mossa dall'avidità del guadagno, non esita a diffondere tra i giovani e perfino tra i ragazzi la disperazione della droga; per questa cultura di morte, si continua a potenziare il mercato dei mezzi di distruzione, spingendo così anche i popoli più sfortunati e poveri a dilaniarsi in lotte fratricide.Forse proprio perché intuiamo di essere immersi, oggi più che in altre epoche, in questa cultura di morte, tutti, credenti e non credenti, sentiamo il fascino della celebrazione natalizia e siamo portati a solennizzarla anche nelle maniere più incongrue, percependo in essa l'ultimo spazio concesso alla cultura di vita e alla speranza per la sopravvivenza dell'uomo.IL NATALE È AFFERMAZIONE DELLA LUCE, CIOÈ DELLA VERITÀLa luce splende nelle tenebre... Veniva al mondo la luce vera, quella che illumina ogni uomo (Gv 1, 5.9). Ma che cos'è la verità?Verità è conoscere le cose come stanno in faccia a Dio, non come si vorrebbe che fossero in ossequio ai nostri interessi e alle nostre prevaricazioni. Verità è dare le risposte giuste ai "perché" fondamentali dell'esistenza. Verità è cogliere l'intimo significato di ciò che è veramente importante: il significato del nostro venire al mondo e del nostro morire, il significato del lavoro, della fatica e della sofferenza, il significato di questa esistenza terrena, cui siamo così tenacemente attaccati e che è così rapida nello scorrere e nel dileguarsi. Verità è insomma sapere e capire ciò che né la mirabile e complicata scienza mondana né le molte parole riversate quotidianamente su di noi dai "signori" della comunicazione sociale ci aiutano affatto a comprendere.Siamo fatti per la luce, e tuttavia siamo tutti immersi nell'oscurità. Na Guiné-Bissau o Presidente do Movimento Nacional da Sociedade Civil para a Paz, Democracia e Desenvolvimento, Fodé Caramba Sanhá, disse estar preocupado com os sinais de militarização da campanha eleitoral. But Tamara Rojo is accustomed to pressure: as Royal Ballet, artistic director of English National Ballet, and now of San Francisco Ballet (SFB), America's oldest classical company. Tamara Rojo is a celebrated leader and principal dancer who became Artistic Director of San Francisco Ballet in 2022. Previously, she was Artistic Director and Lead Principal of English National Ballet (ENB) for over 10 years, having also been principal dancer of the Royal Ballet. Her repertoire includes lead roles in all full-length ballet classics, as well as works by Balanchine, Robbins, Ashton and MacMillan. Un Grand reportage de Marie-Line Darcy qui s'entretient avec Jacques Allix.   Récolter pour survivre : le quotidien des migrants subsahariens au Maroc Au Maroc, la région d'Agadir dans le sud-ouest du pays, concentre une part importante des travailleurs migrants irréguliers. Ils seraient plus de 10 000, selon les ONG, parmi ces subsahariens entre 90 000 et 300 000, qui y font escale. Beaucoup d'autres poursuivent leur migration vers l'Europe. Ils se sont installés dans ce que certains surnomment le « potager de l'Europe » : 20 000 hectares de serres où fruits et légumes poussent toute l'année. Sans papiers, ils sont mal payés, travaillent dur et s'intègrent très difficilement. Même si des associations sont présentes.
