  BlackBerry and TCL call it quits, throwing the future of the keyboard-toting smartphones into uncertainty. But it's been a rather rough week and as a Los Angeles native and a person that loves this city, I gave it a little time before hitting record and just talking through how I've been feeling. The sudden and tragic death of Kobe Bryant has shocked many people, myself included, and I just hope that in sharing a lighthearted story about what kind of impact the Black Mamba had in my life can give someone still feeling the grief a little respite. OPPO now has its own big conference and show with Innovation Day 2019 -- and they brought me out to come and see all of the new announcements.
