Josh is joined this week by Jonathan Feist, Andrew Grush, and Joe Hindy as the slow news week winds down. Though it was definitely a slower week than most, that didn't keep the guys from finding things to talk about - exploding spare batteries, wireless chargers, and new VR applications. But the main topics focus upon the DROID line in Verizon and how they believe these phones should be available outside of just that one carrier. To round things out, they speak about the OnePlus X ahead of what will be Josh's full review later this week. Even in a slow news week, the guys find a way to bring a full session of the Android Authority Podcast - discussing topics in Android every single week.
On this week's episode: our reviews of the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, and the HTC One A9. We also discuss the upcoming DROID MAXX 2, Turbo 2, and the OnePlus X.
With Josh Vergara sitting this one out, Jonathan Feist leads while Andrew Grush, Joe Hindy and Nirave Gondhia spend a good amount of time saying really nice things about the OnePlus X and the Samsung Galaxy View. One is a decidedly mid-range smartphone with a fairly small display, the other is a decidedly mid-range tablet with a honkin’ big 18.4-inch display. We are split on our thoughts of a merger between Android and Chrome OS; opinions are all over the place, fueled by the basic uncertainty as to what exactly may or may not happen to Android and that other OS that Google has. Enjoy AA Podcast #038. The Android Authority Podcast – discussing topics in Android every week.

This week, Tony Hannides joins us once again. We're talking about the new Motorola DROID Turbo 2 and DROID Maxx 2. The OnePlus X, HTC One A9, and the rise of "premium mid-range" phones. Other topics include Google Play Podcasts, gigantic Samsung tablets, Nexus 6P delays, and much more!
On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we have two major topics before getting into a couple of new phones. Those two topics happen to be our Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X reviews, since we finally finished and posted them moments ago. We'll share thoughts on which we like the best, if we would recommend one or the other, and if one (hint, hint) may even qualify as phone of the year. After that, well, we'll dive into our first impressions of Motorola and Verizon's new phones, the DROID Turbo 2 and MAXX 2, the HTC One A9, and the OnePlus X. We have spent time with them all and will have reviews up soon.
A very chill episode of the Android Authority Podcast brings Jonathan Feist, Joe Hindy, and host Joshua Vergara together to talk about a number of simple topics: the HTC One A9, the iPhone, rumors about the OnePlus X, and bug bites. Despite how chill it might have been, the days that immediately followed were definitely really busy, so we apologize for the later release of this episode! But you can still join the three guys as they laugh their Friday away. The Android Authority Podcast - discussing topics in Android every week.
