The Dynasty Nerds College Show is back, and Garret Price, Jagger May, and Andrew Mott are breaking down their composite top ten running backs in this year's NFL Draft class. Spoiler alert: there's one unanimous number one, a clear top tier, and then a whole lot of questions. Jeremiyah Love is the unanimous RB1 in this class and it isn't close. The crew compares him to Bijan Robinson as one of the best receiving backs any of them have scouted. Behind him, Mike Washington Jr., Jadarian Price, and Jonah Coleman form a clear second tier, though the hosts admit Washington carries the highest ceiling while Price offers the safest floor. Coleman's refusal to test at the combine left Garret scratching his head, dropping him from RB2 to RB4 on his personal board. From RB5 on, this class is defined by uncertainty. Emmett Johnson boasts elite underlying metrics including a 39% Dominator Rating, the highest of any back discussed, but his combine testing raises red flags. Nick Singleton has the tools but not the technique. Kayron Allen, Le'Veon Moss, Demond Claiborne, and Jadyn Ott each carry their own unique set of questions, making this a draft class where landing spot and opportunity could matter more than prospect profile. It's a birthday, it's a debate, it's a full-blown identity crisis for humanity—all packed into one beautifully chaotic episode of your favorite funny podcast. We kick things off with a very important modern dilemma: if you drive an electric vehicle, can you park in a charging spot without actually charging… or does that instantly make you public enemy number one? The gang breaks it down like only a funny podcast can—half logic, half roasting, zero resolution. Then things take a turn into the existential (as they always do). If an alien landed on Earth and asked, “What should I watch?”—what do you show them? The answers range from wholesome (Mr. Rogers) to wildly questionable (Always Sunny, ALF, and yes… COPS). It becomes less about TV and more about what we're accidentally admitting about humanity. Spoiler: it's not great. From there, we dive into the unexpected comeback of vinyl records hitting BILLION-dollar sales (thanks, Taylor Swift, we guess), and whether physical media is actually back or just a hipster fever dream. There's also a discussion about why supporting artists now basically means buying anything that isn't music. And of course, it wouldn't be a funny podcast without “Crap on Celebrities,” where we cover everything from Lollapalooza headlines to Oscars ratings drama, Bob Barker's bizarre backstage rules, and Shia LaBeouf doing whatever Shia LaBeouf does… this time in Rome, without pants. We wrap things up with some iconic (and questionable) female covers of classic songs—some absolute bangers, and some that sound like they were recorded during a fever dream. It's weird. It's sarcastic. It's somehow educational. Today we celebrated Moon's Birthday! We kick things off with jazz hands (because obviously that's how serious radio begins), before diving into the slow-motion meltdown that is Rizz being left home alone for a week. Talking to dogs, narrating his own life, and possibly unraveling mentally? Yeah, we're keeping an eye on that. Then Lern casually drops that she went to a roller rink… alone… in a giant coat… just to hang out. Which opens the floodgates for one of the most relatable discussions ever: the “king of the roller rink” — that one guy who peaked gliding backwards under neon lights and never emotionally recovered. Naturally, this leads to a completely serious business pitch to buy and reinvent a roller rink, which financial advisors everywhere would absolutely hate. From there, things take a turn into “why is this even legal?” territory as we break down cousin marriage laws across the U.S. — including the deeply unsettling realization that some states are way more relaxed about it than you'd hope. And because we're nothing if not educational, we somehow connect that to King Tut, inbreeding, and what ancient people might think of our modern faces. (Spoiler: they'd probably hate us.)Then comes the story that flips the whole episode: a woman who wrote a children's book about coping with grief… after allegedly causing her husband's death. It's part true crime, part “are we seriously talking about this right now,” and fully the kind of content you only get from a funny podcast that thrives in the gray area between hilarious and horrifying. We wrap things up with a viral Frontier Airlines controversy that proves once again: the internet reacts first, facts come later. Add in some airport anxiety, retail apocalypse talk, and why you can't flirt anywhere anymore, and you've got a perfectly chaotic ride.If you drive an electric vehicle, can you park in a charging spot without actually charging… or does that instantly make you public enemy number one? The gang breaks it down like only a funny podcast can—half logic, half roasting, zero resolution. Then things take a turn into the existential (as they always do). It's the kind of thoughtful chaos you only get from a group of grown adults who absolutely should know better. From there, things spiral exactly how you'd expect on a comedy podcast. The crew dives into a round of “3 & 5,” where listeners attempt to name three things in five seconds—and somehow, that simple concept completely unravels. We're talking missed layups, confident wrong answers, arguments with the hosts, and at least one moment where it feels like reality itself glitches. If you've ever yelled at your radio during a game, congratulations—you're about to feel seen.As the game continues, we get debates over pizza toppings, confusion about movies currently in theaters (spoiler: nobody knows), and a surprisingly passionate breakdown of fruits with pits. It's the perfect storm of quick thinking, slow thinking, and absolutely no thinking at all. This comedy podcast thrives in that sweet spot between “we've got this” and “we absolutely do not.”Then, because the show refuses to stay in one lane, we pivot into a discussion about National Sloppy Joe Day, the mysterious “Yip Yip” sandwich, and whether certain regional foods should even exist. Throw in some hockey talk, steakhouse flexing, and a full-on debate about cream spinach, and you've got a comedy podcast episode that somehow covers everything and nothing at the same time.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Floridians can still marry their cousins after lawmakers fail to pass statewide banWoman claims she was kicked off flight for being deaf — but Frontier tells a different storyService Tenants Dominate Retail Leasing MarketVinyl Sales Hit $1 Billion In U.S. Revenue Last YearSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Eric G is unpacking the shocking truth about average home maintenance costs, and spoiler alert: it's way more than what most homeowners think. While the average Joe expects to fork over around $70,000 over their lifetime, the reality hits like a rogue hammer at over $339,000! That's roughly $7,000 a year, which is enough to make anyone's heart skip a beat. So, if you've been living under the illusion that your home is a low-maintenance paradise, it's time to wake up and smell the leaky faucets. Tune in as we break down these numbers and throw some light on why saving for those unforeseen repairs isn't just a nice idea, it's a necessary survival tactic in the wild world of homeownership! Homeownership comes with a hefty price tag, and today's chat is all about uncovering the truth behind maintenance costs. Eric G dives into a recent study from Synchrony, which reveals that the average homeowner expects to spend around $70,000 on maintenance over their lifetime. Spoiler alert: they're way off. The reality? We're talking about a staggering $339,000. Yep, you read that right! That's more than $7,000 a year! Eric highlights the shocking disconnect between what people think they'll spend versus the actual numbers. He emphasizes that many homeowners delay necessary repairs due to financial constraints, creating a ticking time bomb for future expenses. We also delve into the skills gap among new homeowners, who often lack the DIY abilities that were once commonplace. With the average age of appliances and systems in homes decreasing, it's crucial to start planning and saving for these inevitable costs. Eric suggests creating a dedicated home maintenance fund, because let's face it: those surprise repairs won't fix themselves. So grab your piggy bank and tune in to learn how to keep your home in tip-top shape without breaking the bank!Takeaways:Homeowners vastly underestimate maintenance costs, expecting around $70,000 when the actual figure is over $339,000. That's a big gap, folks! Many homeowners delay necessary repairs due to financial pressures, leading to higher long-term costs. Don't be that person! The average homeowner spends more than $7,000 a year on maintenance, which can really add up over time. Start saving!New homeowners are often less skilled in DIY repairs, making them reliant on costly services. It's time to embrace the toolbox! With the repair market booming post-pandemic, homeowners need to budget wisely for inevitable expenses, or risk being blindsided. Moon gets summoned, and instead of quietly handling it like a normal citizen, the show immediately turns it into a strategy session on how to either get out of it—or fully lean in and turn it into content. There's talk of fake enthusiasm for capital punishment, courtroom theatrics, and whether being “in the media” still gets you a free pass (spoiler: probably not).As if that wasn't enough, the gang breaks down the 2026 hurricane name list like it's an NFL draft. Yes, Hurricane Kyle is absolutely a problem. Yes, Nana is somehow more terrifying. And yes, someone suggests building an all-time hurricane starting lineup—which is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. In the middle of all this chaos, there's actually something useful: a deep dive into a guy who makes a living negotiating car prices on your behalf. A real-life professional haggler who saves people thousands—basically the hero we all need but don't deserve. And then… we meet “Major Hands.”This episode kicks off with some classic “we're getting older and don't like it” energy as the crew reflects on time, aging, and how somehow everyone else looks older… except themselves (science still can't explain it). Then things take a sharp left turn into a heated debate about 90s movies — specifically City of Angels. Is it a beautiful romantic classic, or is it absolute trash that should've stayed buried in 1998? Let's just say… not everyone agrees, and feelings are definitely questioned. We also dive into March Movie Mayhem — because nothing says productivity like arguing over fictional brackets — and somehow end up talking about the iconic Back to the Future truck selling for a price that makes everyone reconsider their life choices. In true daily comedy show fashion, the conversation bounces from celebrity drama to reality TV addiction (that everyone pretends to hate but absolutely watches), to a deep dive into leprechaun movies that no one asked for but everyone gets stuck talking about anyway. And of course, it wouldn't be complete without revisiting the legendary leprechaun news clip — because tradition matters.Add in some celebrity chaos, Oscar drama, and a whole lot of sarcastic commentary, and you've got an episode that perfectly captures what happens when a group of people with microphones just… keep talking. This episode of The Rizzuto Show is what happens when a legit success story collides headfirst with absolute nonsense — aka your favorite funny podcast doing what it does best.We welcome St. Louis native Ricky Montgomery, who went from recording music in a basement to casually stacking hundreds of millions of streams after TikTok resurrected his songs during the pandemic. Colt walks through how Walrus has evolved over the years, from the early days of pedals like the 385 and Monument to the creation of entire product ecosystems like the Mako DSP line, Canvas utility gear, and the more affordable Fundamental series. Along the way he shares some surprisingly candid insight about what worked, what didn't, and why “budget” pedals in the boutique world often aren't nearly as profitable as people assume. The guys also dig into what working at a pedal company actually looks like day-to-day. Spoiler alert: it involves a lot less shredding and a lot more soldering, packing boxes, managing teams, solving problems, and trying to keep people from treating the shop like a guitar-themed coffee hang. Naturally, there's plenty of gear talk too. Colt walks Blake through his current guitars, his pedalboard, why EQ might be the most underrated effect ever, and why he's leaned more into digital rigs lately while still respecting the glorious chaos of tube amps turned up loud. They also get into Boss HM-2 love, the mysterious Terra Echo, Quad Cortex rigs, and the never-ending quest for consistency without killing the magic. Colt also shares some genuinely solid advice for anyone dreaming of starting their own gear company: build something great, make it meaningfully different, and treat your customers like they actually matter. Oh… and somewhere along the way we learn about a teenage band that shared one distortion pedal between two guitarists, and the Oklahoma pizza place that fueled their rehearsals. Or does it present all that as distraction because ultimately regardless of your thoughts and feelings, Mormon Jesus is going to save you if you believe and pray thereby making the film basically one long propaganda piece for the Mormon church (cult)? Laura and I disagree but we do hope you enjoy our consideration of this fundamental question about the film. I Saw the TV Glow (Schoenbrun 2024) I Saw the TV Glow – Heralded as a unique and powerful entry into the horror genre in 2024, this film is undoubtedly gorgeous and experfly crafted. Is it so expertly crafted that the alienation Marshall experienced viewing the film as a cis man meant to give him a taste of the experience of the alienation from self of being closeted in terms of gender identity or sexuality? Thus offer an opportunity for experiential empathy for those who are cis or are situated bodies that match their sense of self. If so what an accomplishment! It's crazy to think that Scream has been around for thirty years! To celebrate the anniversary, we dig deep into the entire franchise, leading to an epic discussion about the latest film, Scream 7. Is the meta angle worth keeping? Does Gale make the right hair choices? Is it even possible to see out of a Ghostface make well enough to kill? Was it complete and utter BS what the production did to Melissa Barrera? (Yes, it was). Spoilers abound, so make sure you see these movies before you indulge. Or don't. It's fine. You do you. You've been stuck — not because you lack discipline, ideas, or talent. You've been stuck because you've been obeying a rulebook you wrote yourself and forgot you were the author. In this episode, Krysta breaks down the invisible standards quietly running the show in your content strategy, your nutrition, and honestly, every area of your life where you feel like you just can't move. In this episode we dive into:• Why your content isn't going anywhere (hint: it's not the algorithm)• The same self-sabotage pattern that shows up in your feed and on your plate• What actually happened when Krysta loosened the grip on her own rules• The one shift that unlocks momentum — no perfect start requiredThe Rules You Didn't Know You Were Following• "I can't post unless the hook is elite." Sound familiar? That sentence is a rule — one you invented.• The fear of being opinionated, inconsistent, or misunderstood keeps more people silent than any algorithm ever has• Spoiler: the creators you binge most are often the ones you don't even fully agree with• People-pleasing dressed up as professionalism is still people-pleasingBreaking the Feedback Loop• Krysta spent a season of 2025 beating herself up daily for not posting — and almost nobody noticed• The same logic that says "I already missed breakfast tracking so why bother with lunch" is the exact logic keeping your content calendar empty• Holding up a mirror for your audience means some people will flinch — that's the point, not the problem• Real talk: version 10 doesn't exist without versions one through nineThe Wide Lane• Coffee content from a West Village coffee shop going viral > a "strategically educational" post no one asked for• When Krysta stopped performing for the algorithm and started showing up as herself, the ideas stopped feeling forced• The highway analogy: four lanes gets you there faster than one — widen the lane, and you actually move• Your goals don't need perfection. They need repetition. This episode is a direct call-out and a permission slip at the same time. Whether you're a business owner paralyzed by your own content standards or someone who's been telling yourself you'll start tracking again on Monday, the rules you're obeying are ones you created — which means you're also the one who gets to scrap them. Default to continuation. Not a clean slate. Just another rep.Want to go deeper on the energy piece? Lead Pastor Josh Carstensen continues our new series on Jeremiah.Jeremiah is hard and uncomfortable. It shows us a God who judges sin and allows sometimes brutal consequences. And for many of us, that feels strange because we love the picture of Jesus as merciful, compassionate, and welcoming of children. But Jeremiah forces us to wrestle with the questions: Is that the same God? Or are we seeing something different?Spoiler: it's the same story and the same God, just a different moment in the story. If you've ever misplaced your keys and thought your morning was bad, imagine realizing it at 5:40 AM when you're supposed to be on a daily podcast in 20 minutes. That's exactly what happened to Rafe — which triggered a full-blown on-air investigation into where his keys went, how quickly he blamed his wife, and whether an emergency Uber ride was about to save the show. This episode of The Rizzuto Show daily podcast starts with pure morning chaos: missing keys, questionable accountability, and the crew timing exactly how long it takes for Rafe to shift blame. (Spoiler: it wasn't long.)From there the conversation takes a sharp turn into the news about Uber's new “women preference” feature — allowing female riders to request female drivers. It's meant to increase safety, but now it's already sparking lawsuits and debate about discrimination. The crew dives into the arguments from both sides, the stats being thrown around, and what it means for drivers just trying to make a living. It's a surprisingly serious conversation… for about three minutes.Because naturally the show then pivots to a story out of the UK where a kickboxer managed to pull a 4,000-pound car using nothing but his testicles. Yes. You read that correctly. The gang debates whether this is the ultimate display of masculinity or just the world's weirdest public service announcement for men's health.Somewhere along the way, Rizz shares a wild story about getting mugged in New York City back in the day — a story that includes a knife to the throat, a random undercover cop encounter, and a late-night ride around Manhattan trying to identify suspects. It's equal parts terrifying and absurd… which is basically the brand. The episode also dives into:Why Buc-ee's just got slapped with an F rating from the Better Business BureauThe exact age when family vacations finally stop being parenting in another zip codeWhether couples should try the new travel trend called “seat divorce” on airplanesAnd why spring break flights are about to be filled with screaming toddlersBasically, it's another completely normal episode of The Rizzuto Show, the daily podcast where weird news, life stories, and sarcastic commentary collide every single morning.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
