TCP is hosted by me, Samantha Weathers (you can call me Sam). Ever since I first knew that Podcasts were a thing, I’ve wanted to have one of my very own. Finally, in August 2020, I went for it. This podcast basically consists of me talking about whatever I want. I could talk about ghost stories, movies, conspiracy theories, true crime, books, cooking, anything! Anyone who knows me knows that I like talking, so I figure it only makes sense to do it for a living.

Sometimes when you think of escaping death or near-death experiences, you think of people who have had been in terrible car crashes or they had fallen from an unimaginable height and survived. While those stories are incredible and I'll probably talk about them in a future episode, today's episode is about people who have escaped death by attempted murder. No matter what you do, NEVER let them in. Otherwise, something will bad is almost guaranteed to happen, but I won't tell you that here. You'll have to listen to find out! Warning! The following podcast is intended for mature audiences. It contains graphic descriptions of crime scenes, adult dialogue, and strong language. Listener discretion is advised. Hey, Buds! This is my first episode dedicated to a true crime. Gordon Northcott was a Canadian who abducted, abused, "rented," and murdered young boys in California. His specific crimes branched out into many different stories and situations/events that resulted in some pretty significant changes at the time. While each branch of the story is interesting, I've focused on the main story that inspired it all. Perhaps in future episodes, I will feature those other stories. I will be the first to admit that the format in this episode leaves room for improvement, but with that in mind, no one starts something as an expert. As I learn and get better, so will the content.
