A Land of Slaves...Filled with opportunity, and trees that bare fruit. Some sweet, and Other's Strange.Out of an absolute conception,The liberty bell range.A Land discovered by greed & power.A Slave economy ordained by God.A Cross embodies new meaning.Systems guarantee,a prosperous Land.Like a cancer... Spreading to survive.Converting whoever, whenever conveniently.A Land managing Slaves...Laws of the Land ensure profit, and Slavery “is a boomin.”Others are processed like objects.Given limited access with preconceived choices.Control of others is what solidifies profit.A Land worked by Slaves...A Cage built for Others, by Others, and controlled by God's Chosen. The select few profit off of the reformation of Others.Caging Us by the Masses.Traumatizing Us over, and over,Because the first lash wasn't deep enough.A Land experiencing Slaves...Cotton, and Sugar use to fill Our wounds. Now racial injustice fills Our wounds. We're now claustrophobic from no access.A Land built over the indigenous. We stand on bloody neglected soil while the Chosen profit off of every tear.A Land of Slaves...
What if we spoke in sounds... What Truth could you hear?(free-style harmonica
I awake to a space, my Temple.Unfamiliar and without meaning. My voice echoes throughout the colosseum Very few Lights with no corners. From Conception; absolutely vandalized. No Sage in my Temple, brings chaos. I am abandoned in my filthy Temple. Suffocating from the smog of unresolved trauma... I can’t breath. Many un-used windows in my TempleAs I explore deeperLight begins to fill my TempleFear evaporatesLove is the foundation of my TempleHatred is accumulated dust in my TempleA good cleaning is in orderI intentionally design my templeto be comfortable in my Temple
An Owl smiles to me in my window.Night & day it stares at Me.It looks at me as if it knows me.I wonder what it sees.A pair of deep black inquisitive eyes pierce through me.I Dream of an Owl in my window,a voiceless messenger meditating in my window.I ponder in Silence; is it really looking at Me?Is there really an Owl smiling at me in my window?Am I to invite the Owl in, or would that be untraditional? What if the Owl is one of my ancestors? It would be rude not to invite my Ancestor in...But how do I know I can trust the Owl?The Owl could be a fascinating trouble or delight. My flight or fight doesn't seem to be working.Am I trapped or safe?Is this how it feels to encounter God?A dilemma of curiosity smiling the Owl in my window.
