It became apparent that Sarah's 2 best friends, Liam McAtasney and Preston Taylor, knew what happened to Sarah. They said that she wanted to run away to Canada. She was found in her home with a single gunshot to her head. The police had to figure out if this was a robbery gone wrong, a missionary husband trying to get out of a marriage or an unexpected young woman with a close connection to the family with a major motive to kill Denise.
