SummaryIn this episode, Chase and Chris kick off a new podcast mini-series all about stress. They talk about how stress could be one of the biggest reasons your fat loss has slowed down or completely stalled. Just because you're doing everything “right”—working out, eating well, tracking your food—doesn't mean your body is ready to let go of fat. If stress is high, your body is likely trying to protect you, not punish you. They explain how stress shows up in different ways: lack of sleep, cravings, bloating, mood swings, and even feeling wired at night and tired in the morning. Chase and Chris also talk about how people can get used to being under constant stress and not even realize how much it's affecting them. They share client examples and give lots of real-life stories to help you connect the dots in your own life. This episode is all about building awareness. Welcome to another solo episode. This topic has come up several times with guests and I wanted to do a whole episode on it because it's that important and it's not talked about enough. Some say survivorship starts as soon as you are diagnosed. I think it should be defined as everything that happens after the end of active treatment. Sounds like what we all want, right? Treatment done, no evidence of disease, back to normal life. Unfortunately, it's often not that simple. It can be very emotional and not necessarily in a good way. Let's discuss...This episode is for everyone! I talk to people going through active treatment right now, those who have finished active treatment and may be experiencing this emotional roller coaster, and caregivers/family/friends.We talk a lot about normalizing cancer and treatment. We need to normalize the emotions of survivorship as well. And the podcast is almost a year old!!! The first episode launched on March 5, 2024. Happy Anniversary to The Many Faces of Cancer!!! I want to kick things up a notch for year 2, so I need to hear from you! What do you want to hear? How can I make this podcast even better for all of you? In January 2025, Rolling Stone published an article by Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon titled "As Sean Combs' ‘Love' Era Began, New Accusers Say He Was Still a ‘Demon'." The piece examines Sean "Diddy" Combs' public rebranding as a changed man, contrasting it with recent allegations suggesting continued abusive behavior. Despite Combs' claims of personal growth following a 2016 incident where he was recorded assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, multiple sources allege that his abusive actions persisted well beyond this purported turning point. The article details accounts from new accusers who describe experiences of manipulation, coercion, and violence at the hands of Combs. These allegations challenge the narrative of redemption that Combs has promoted, painting a picture of ongoing misconduct that contradicts his public persona during his "Love" era. The piece underscores the disparity between Combs' professed transformation and the troubling claims of those who have come forward, suggesting that his abusive behavior did not cease as he has asserted.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Sean 'Diddy' Combs Was a ‘Demon' in 'Love' Era, New Accusers Say

John Williams' jazz-infused score adds a unique and unexpected vibe to the film. The movie takes liberties with the real story, but they enhance the narrative. The chemistry between DiCaprio and Hanks makes this one of Spielberg's best character-driven films. Memorable Quotes: “This movie is fantastic. It's extremely watchable and just a blast.” – Frank “Frank Sr. and Carl both admire Frank Jr. but push him in completely different directions.” – Bo “John Williams' score here is like a smoky jazz club—it's intimate, fun, and unpredictable.” – Thomas “Watching this as a kid, I thought this was the life. **For this History This Week special feature, Sally interviews director Robert Eggers about his new historically inspired film, Nosferatu.** Winter, 1476. Vlad III is a prince in Wallachia, in present-day Romania. He is a violent man, so violent that he earns the nickname "Vlad the Impaler." He also has another name that he inherited from his father: Dracula. Dracula is constantly fighting for his crown, but today, that fight will come to an end. His headless body will be discovered in a marsh, stuck down by his enemies. But his legend will live on. Dracula pops up in stories throughout Europe over the next few centuries, until author Bram Stoker decides to combine this legend with the latest fictional craze, vampires. His book, Dracula, becomes the king of the genre. It inspires numerous adaptations, including a silent film called Nosferatu. It's considered one of the most important horror movies in history. Over 100 years later, director Robert Eggers has reimagined the original Nosferatu and adapted it for a modern audience. In a conversation with Eggers, we asked, how did he make a blood-sucking monster feel like a historical figure? And where do vampires fit into our lives today? Special thanks to Robert Eggers, director of Nosferatu. We also used a great book to help research this episode, Dracula: Prince of Many Faces, by Radu Florescu and Raymond McNally. Andrea Canning and Dateline producer Lynn Keller go behind the scenes of their latest episode, “The Man of Many Faces." Andrea and Lynn talk about their determination to track him down and what it was like interviewing him. They discuss meeting one of Nick's accusers and share their reaction to Rossi's latest explanation for his changing identities.
