In January 2025, Rolling Stone published an article by Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon titled "As Sean Combs' ‘Love' Era Began, New Accusers Say He Was Still a ‘Demon'." The piece examines Sean "Diddy" Combs' public rebranding as a changed man, contrasting it with recent allegations suggesting continued abusive behavior. Despite Combs' claims of personal growth following a 2016 incident where he was recorded assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, multiple sources allege that his abusive actions persisted well beyond this purported turning point. The article details accounts from new accusers who describe experiences of manipulation, coercion, and violence at the hands of Combs. These allegations challenge the narrative of redemption that Combs has promoted, painting a picture of ongoing misconduct that contradicts his public persona during his "Love" era. The piece underscores the disparity between Combs' professed transformation and the troubling claims of those who have come forward, suggesting that his abusive behavior did not cease as he has asserted.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Sean 'Diddy' Combs Was a ‘Demon' in 'Love' Era, New Accusers Say

This month on Lazy Code, Dan teams up with Halina Brooke and Leon “Buttons” Kirkbeck to swap eerie doppelganger encounters, and wonder whether look-alike humans are just copy-pasted assets from a lazy cosmic developer. Leon does his best to keep the quantum-adjacent nonsense from imploding into metaphysical spaghetti, while Dan and Helena chase down the big question: are doppelgangers evidence of a glitch in the Matrix…or just proof that humans come in dangerously similar templates?
Send me a question or story! For how common we see pyoderma in cats and dogs in veterinary practice, the appearance can be variable. A cutaneous bacterial infection can appear as crusting, erythema, scaling, moth-eaten alopecia, epidermal collarette, etc. Differentials can also be varied. Pyoderma can mimic dermatophytosis, demodicosis, pemphigus foliaceus, epitheliotropic lymphoma, etc. Check out this week's episode The Derm Vet podcast! LifeStance therapist Yolanda Frantzich joins us for an in-depth look at domestic violence—its prevalence, its patterns, and the wide range of abusive behaviors it can involve. Yolanda combines her clinical knowledge with personal experience, describing how her own past relationship inspired her to pursue a career in therapy. She breaks down the many forms of abuse, including physical harm, emotional manipulation, sexual coercion, financial control, and the growing impact of technological abuse such as digital monitoring and harassment. The conversation also delves into the systemic and psychological factors that keep victims trapped, including isolation, shame, and trauma bonding. Yolanda further shares the devastating story of her sister's death due to domestic violence, underscoring the urgent need for early recognition of warning signs and timely intervention. This episode provides actionable insights, raises awareness about the complexity of domestic violence, and reinforces the message that support is available—and that no one should feel compelled to stay in an abusive relationship.
As Camping for Hunger Week sweeps through Warren County, the spirit of giving is palpable. Yet, for organizations like Winchester CCAP, the need for support extends far beyond a single week. In this episode of "The Valley Today," host Janet Michael sits down with Andrea Cosans, Executive Director of Winchester CCAP, to shed light on the organization's tireless efforts to combat food insecurity and support local families. Meeting the Rising Demand From the outset, Andrea paints a vivid picture of the growing challenges facing the community. "Our reception area is not that large," she explains, "but this morning I came in and there were about a hundred people waiting." The surge in demand, fueled by economic pressures and government shutdowns, has left CCAP's shelves bare and its staff scrambling to meet the needs of families who are struggling to make ends meet. Beyond Food: Holistic Support However, Winchester CCAP's mission goes well beyond providing food. Andrea enthusiastically describes a range of innovative programs designed to address the root causes of hardship. The organization's clothing boutique offers free, gently used clothing to families, while the steel-toed boots and bicycle programs help remove barriers to employment. "If steel-toed boots are a barrier to work, we try and work with you to get them," Andrea says, highlighting CCAP's commitment to practical solutions. The Power of Partnerships Transitioning to the topic of collaboration, Janet and Andrea discuss the importance of partnerships with other nonprofits, local businesses, and volunteers. Whether it's sourcing firewood for families in need or sharing surplus food with neighboring pantries, CCAP leverages a network of community allies to maximize its impact. Andrea shares inspiring stories of local businesses stepping up—sometimes on a moment's notice—to provide critical resources, demonstrating the power of collective action. Stories of Resilience Throughout the conversation, Andrea shares moving anecdotes that underscore the transformative power of community support. She recounts the journey of a woman who, after receiving help from CCAP two decades ago, now owns a successful business and gives back to others. These stories, woven with empathy and hope, illustrate how a helping hand can change the trajectory of a life. How to Get Involved As the episode draws to a close, Janet and Andrea encourage listeners to get involved—whether by donating food, volunteering time, or contributing financially. "We are a deep pit of never-ending need, in a good way," Andrea laughs, emphasizing that every act of kindness strengthens the fabric of the community. Learn how you can help: https://ccapwinchester.org/ Looking Ahead Ultimately, this conversation serves as a powerful reminder that the fight against hunger and hardship is ongoing. Through innovative programs, strong partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to their mission, Winchester CCAP continues to be a beacon of hope for the Valley. As Andrea puts it, "If we help each other, we can be stronger and help the community."

Recorded October 1st, 2025. A seminar by Dr Peter Rogers (Macquarie University, Australia) as part of the Medical and Health Humanities Seminar Series. This talk will discuss how to translate a travelling concept with different meanings for different audiences into practical and deliverable projects. Peter will highlight examples of projects that seek to build resilience, from physical infrastructure interventions to ways of working differently to identifying, analysing, preparing for, preventing, responding to and recovering from emergent challenges - such as mental health resilience in the age of climate change. The talk will highlight how no single approach can work everywhere, whilst awareness of the many faces of resilience can improve the coordination of common goals (and deliverable outcomes) for the diverse stakeholders seeking to build resilience, in one form or another. About the speaker: Peter is a social scientist with primary expertise in resilience, in all its forms. He is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Macquarie University, Australia, and was Co-Director of 'Climate Futures' research centre from 2011-15. He has been an active researcher and consultant on resilience policy for many years. His published works include Resilience and the City (Ashgate. 2012) and The Everyday Resilience of the City (with Coaffee & Murakami-Wood. Palgrave, 2008). His forthcoming book on Resilience: Origins and Evolutions (Edward Elgar - 2026) brings together the disparate threads of his nearly 20 years of research on this topic into one volume. GREIF IT'S NOT THE SAME FOR EVERYONE The Many Faces of Grief: Various Ways People Handle Grief 1. Understanding Grief Grief is a natural response to loss—whether it's the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a major life change, or even the loss of identity or health. While it's universal, the way each person grieves is deeply personal and influenced by culture, beliefs, personality, and life experiences. 2. The Classic Model: The Five Stages of Grief Psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross outlined five common stages: Denial – Refusing to accept the reality of the loss. Anger – Feeling frustration or resentment about what happened. Bargaining – Wishing or imagining ways the loss could be undone. Depression – Deep sadness, withdrawal, or hopelessness. Acceptance – Coming to terms with the reality of loss. These stages aren't linear; people move back and forth between them, or skip some entirely. 3. Cultural Expressions of Grief Different cultures have distinct mourning rituals: Western traditions often emphasize funerals and memorials focused on remembrance. Eastern traditions may focus on honoring ancestors and maintaining spiritual connections. Collectivist cultures tend to grieve communally, while individualist cultures may encourage private processing. 4. Emotional and Behavioral Differences People express grief in diverse ways: Emotional expressers cry, talk openly, and seek support. Instrumental grievers cope by staying busy or focusing on tasks. Avoidant grievers suppress emotions, sometimes appearing “strong” or “unmoved.” Chronic grievers experience long-term sadness and difficulty moving on. 5. Coping Mechanisms Healthy coping can take many forms: Talking it out with friends, family, or therapists. Creative outlets like writing, art, or music. Spiritual or religious practices such as prayer, meditation, or rituals. Physical activity as a way to release emotional energy. Some may also resort to unhealthy coping, like substance use or emotional withdrawal, highlighting the need for support and compassion. 6. The Growth That Can Follow Grief While grief is painful, many people experience post-traumatic growth—a newfound appreciation for life, deeper relationships, or renewed purpose. 7. A Universal Yet Unique Experience No two people grieve the same way. Understanding that can help us be more compassionate—toward others and ourselves.

We think we know what poverty looks like, but what if the number in a person's bank account is one of the least important parts of the story? The Many Faces of Light: Understanding Light Runners, Light Healers, Light Changers, Light Bearers, and Light LeadersFor centuries, humanity has spoken of those who carry spiritual awareness and cosmic connection as workers of light. Across traditions, they've been called mystics, shamans, healers, prophets, seers, and guides. In today's spiritual language, five distinct archetypes shine brightly: Light Runner, Light Healer, Light Changer, Light Bearer, and Light Leader. While each shares the common essence of divine illumination, their expressions are unique—woven into the greater tapestry of human awakening. In this episode, Laurie explores how these different paths of light show up in service, energy, action, and consciousness, and what they reveal about your own spiritual role.At the heart of this conversation is the powerful metaphor of light:· Awareness and clarity to see what is true· Healing and transformation as illumination dissolves shadow· Hope and guidance, like a flame leading the way· The spark of divine presence alive within every soulJoin Laurie to discover the many ways light moves through us—and how recognizing your own archetype can empower your journey of awakening.Send us a textSupport the showThanks for listening - For questions or comments email Laurie at Laurie@yourlifecore.comInstagram @yourlifecore or Twitter @yourlifecore Facebook https://www.facebook.com/YourLifecoreWebsite www.yourlifecore.com

Patrick Wilson is looking for names that will do well through low economic growth. “We're always looking for relative value,” he says, including through demographic demand, such as senior housing needs. He looks at how investors can use REITs to diversify their portfolios. He's also looking at how cloud service providers are spending “astounding” amounts on AI and real estate opportunities through that lens. He also looks under the hood at back-to-school sales and which shopping centers could benefit.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. Greg Scarpa, Legendary Evil: The Many Faces Of A Mafia KillerGoodfellow, capo, killer, thief. A man so diabolically evil that he ordered his eldest son to murder his closest associate, and his youngest son to murder his best friend. When Greg Scarpa was in his early twenties he became a goodfellow in the Profaci family by swearing a blood oath to the Mafia, at the time the country's largest organized-crime syndicate. And for 25 years he betrayed that oath and the men closest to him by acting as a paid informant for the FBI. He fed America's premier law enforcement agency a steady stream of self-serving information accusing the men who trusted him with their lives of every crime he was himself committing. During those 25 years of treachery, Scarpa was a one-man crime wave who spent only 30 days behind bars thanks to his status as the FBI's ultimate Mafia insider. His standing as a prized informant freed him to engage in mayhem and murder knowing he had a virtual license to kill with reckless abandon.https://amzn.to/4mfkdQgBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Host Natalie Grueninger welcomes historian Helene Harrison to explore how Anne Boleyn crafted her image and how it was reshaped after her death. They discuss Anne's coronation symbolism, self-fashioning, and efforts by Henry VIII's court to win public favour. The conversation examines key portraits and artefacts—from the Hever Rose portrait and the Chequers ring to the 1534 medal—and the ongoing debates around their dating and identification. Helen traces contemporary reactions at home and abroad, Anne's reappearance in Elizabeth I's reign, and the clash between Nicholas Sander and John Foxe. She then follows Anne's evolving legacy through Stuart drama, Victorian myth‑making, and modern screen portrayals, including Anne of the Thousand Days, The Tudors, Wolf Hall, and Six the Musical. Helene also shares details of her new book, The Many Faces of Anne Boleyn, teases a forthcoming study of Henry VIII's Great Matter, and offers a lighthearted Tudor-themed reading recommendation. Sometimes, I just have to say my peace and get on with it. Though in this episode, I dig into the relationships that are forged like in no other industry. Hear me out. I would argue that the best stories in wine aren't just written in vineyards and cellars, but in the electric connections between people, places, and time—sometimes under the neon glow of a set piece scavenged from a Hollywood film. In this episode, I'm unabashedly turning the spotlight on myself and the tangled web of encounters that make up my journey through the wine world. You'll hear how my wish to inspire led one of my early show writers, Lisa K., to trade in her notes for studies in Bordeaux and how, through her, I've built connections I never would have imagined, including friendships with renowned professors and winemakers. I'll take you behind the scenes with the legendary Cladstrups, whose books have forever changed how I—and maybe how you—experience Paris, and with Maximilian Riedel, whose passion for glassware may just have you questioning whether the vessel truly shapes your wine's destiny. I walk you through my adventures in enotourism with Bill Kalais, who proves that real travel in wine is about genuine cultural immersion, not just bus tours and tastings. And I'll reveal how pioneers like Jason Haas reinvented American wine by shattering old rules and building new bridges—reminding all of us how wine creates an ever-unfolding tapestry of relationships and possibility. At every turn, I come back to a core truth: wine transforms lives, forges lasting bonds across continents and cultures, and weaves together music, language, land, and food into something inseparable and deeply human. Listen in and you'll learn, through my own stories, why the most meaningful bottles are those that connect us, and perhaps even discover the real reason Paris owes more to an exiled empress than to any king. #WineTalks #WineIndustry #WinePodcast #WineHistory #WineEducation #WineInnovation #WineCulture #WineTravel #WineTourism #WineConnections #WineStories #Winemaking #Glassware #RhoneRangers #FrenchWine #Bordeaux #WomenInWine #WineAndWar #ChampagneCharlie
