This week, in Summerville, Georgia, a maniac is on the loose, going on a rampage of violence. These acts range from running a man over, and attempting to invade a trailer home & stabbing one of the residents. This is nothing compared to what police find, when they finally set up a roadblock. What they find, is the most horrifying thing imaginable... including a foot in the backseat, ,and a human heart, on the floorboard. This is only the start of his madness, as he acts so unhinged, that states will fight each other to rid themselves of him!!Along the way, we find out that Georgia is not in the west, that just because you say you're in The Secret Service, it doesn't mean that you are, and that you should never Weekend At Bernie's your significant other!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! Dr. Dennis Alan travels to Haiti to research a drug that appears to be "zombifying" locals. The Serpent and the Rainbow is the last movie of Wes Craven May and a movie we love to rewatch. Flying under the radar of some of Craven's other movies, this film stars Bill Pullman as a convincing anthropologist working to uncover strange occurrences in Haiti regarding a drug that is pausing vital signs. This film explores the "stranger in a strange land" concept very well, adding in cultural elements, Voodoo practices, as well as touching on the political strife, all playing a role in the film. The film is loosely based on the Wade Davis book "The Serpent and the Rainbow: A Harvard Scientist's Astonishing Journey into the Secret Societies of Haitian Voodoo, Zombies, and Magic". This week, in Stowe, Vermont, a young woman trades in the corporate city life, to hopefully spend her time as a "ski bum" in the Vermont mountains, but disappears, while enjoying the outdoors. Her bike is left, leaning against a tree, while she was nowhere to be found. Eventually, detectives not only find her body, but figure a lot out, due to the cookies she was eating. Then, they link the whole thing to a man, who was under their nose, the whole time! This leads to a huge change in the way the state deals with DNA!!Along the way, we find out that maple syrup is a beverage in some places, that you should really watch where you leave cigarette butts, and that if someone's DNA is found on/in a murdered woman, they have a lot of explaining to do!!New episodes every Thursday & Friday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, a trip to a friend's house to buy some meth, turns into a horrifying three day session of brutality, when a man is duct taped, and seeming driven all over town, in the trunk of car. This week, in Quincy, Illinois, when a "perfect couple" begin divorce proceedings, things are anything but perfect. They go back & forth with accusations & demands. This continues, until one of them is found, brutally murdered, in their own home. A schizophrenic serial killer comes back to his hometown to kill the seven kids who were prematurely born on the day he reportedly died. My Soul to Take is a movie that we have long criticized for being a weak slasher in almost every possible way. It's even more unfortunate to know that it was directed by Wes Craven. This film has some interesting concepts that are not only poorly executed, but they also fail to develop into anything meaningful at any point. Not to mention, there are a ton of overplayed cliches and cringey, forgettable characters. Watch the movie and catch our review. Upon robbing the home of his landlords, Fool notices there are unusual men being kept under the stairs in the basement floor. He also discovers a young girl named, Alice in the home as he attempts to escape from under the noses of his landlords. The People Under the Stairs is a hidden gem from Wes Craven and a movie that sometimes feels over the top in all the right ways. Everett McGill and Wendy Robie stand out as the landlords who are constantly chasing Fool throughout the movie and continue to raise the meter on how evil they can be. This is also not to mention that they are capturing and keeping people in their basement in a sectioned area under the stairs. A group in Pennsylvania hole up in a farmhouse in an attempt to survive against rampaging undead feasting for their flesh. Night of the Living Dead is the classic zombie apocalypse movie from one of the greats, George A. Romero. Romero helped inspire what zombie movies are today and it's clear that the way this film portrayed a macro view of a zombie apocalypse set the stage for how films are utilizing survivor struggles in a post-apocalyptic world today. This was our first time watching the movie and although we had some mixed reviews, we all agreed the film is influential. Does the film hold up to current zombie movies or is it a product of its time? This week, in Wimer, Oregon, detectives are called out to a small, rural farm, to investigate a minor matter, but end up finding half of a human leg on the property. This leads to a massive investigation, and the realization that the owner of this property may have been killing workers, and feeding them to the pigs! Somehow, it gets even weirder, from there, as we find out just how many have met their fate, in the pig pen!!Along the way, we find out that Bigfoot is very easily confused with a bear, that you should be suspicious when someone keeps mentioning that they're curious if pigs eat people, and that there is no such things putting a human being "out of their misery"!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! While celebrating a birthday, a group of friends unknowlingly release a curse long instilled in a myserious deck of tarot cards. Following their readings, the group begin to die off one-by-one as fate would have it in accordance with their readings.Tarot is a teen slasher horror movie released in 2024 that feels very similar to the Final Destination films, but with tarot card readings. With a very familiar concept, fate takes the friend group one-by-one as the group continues to make the worst mistakes ignoring the very clear pathway to death as identified in their tarot car readings. The film doesn't feel original, the kills are weak, and although the visuals at times are well done, the buildup to the kills is poorly executed. This week, in Falkner, Mississippi, a teen love triangle leads to some weird situations, when two friends go out with the same young lady. Everything seems solved when one of the teens disappears, leaving the other to date the girl. But the allure of sex causes a confession to murder, even though it's later recanted. Small town politics play a big role, with rumors flying, and people fleeing town, and a Christian Slater movie being made about the whole thing!!Along the way, we find out that some people in small towns are just plain cheap, that confessing to murder just to get some sex isn't a great plan, and that a certain four letter word can make some people do anything!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Gastonia, North Carolina, when bodies start being found in remote locations, detectives must piece together the last brutal hours of these lives. After speaking to many people, detectives find one particular man, who has too many coincidences with all the victims. He shockingly confesses to everything they're suspicious of, then begins to tell police about even more murders!!Along the way, we find out that bands named after dirt bikes might not be that great, that smoking crack is dangerous for many reasons, and that once you give a detailed confession, it's hard to take it back!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! After buying a beat-up car with evil intentions, a socially awkward boy's nature begins to change, matching it.Christine is a fun horror novel adaptation from Stephen King, directed by John Carpenter. While it doesn't have an all-star cast, Carpenter creates a fun environment where the characters are fleshed out and work off the killer well, which happens to be a car. While the movie can be ridiculous at times, it's enjoyable, the kills are great, and is entertaining all the way to the end. This week, in Clanton, Alabama, when a woman is found, brutally murdered, in her trailer, the main suspect is someone who was stalking her, but he has a solid alibi. This brings detectives to a more disturbing conclusion. The woman's cousin was seeing a man with an extremely troubled past. When we find out just how troubled, it's no surprise that he could do something like this, but who was helping him definitely is!! Along the way, we find out that peaches aren't just in Georgia, that there are consequences when you have a truly terrible childhood, and that sometimes, you just have to beg for the death penalty for yourself!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Kingston Township, Pennsylvania, what begins as a simple search for a missing criminal pharmacist, quickly turns into the discovery of a makeshift graveyard, in a man's yard, that may have up to 12 burned, bashed & buried bodies. The more investigation that happens, the more the layers begin to peel off, revealing a brutal serial killer & his accomplices! But will a homemade cemetery, in his own yard, be enough to convict??Along the way, we find out pierogis are best eaten, when thrown from a parade float, that the more people you have helping you murder, the more people there is to tell on you, and that if you're going to bury a dozen bodies, you might want to do it, away from your own home!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports!
This week, in Powell, Wyoming, a college girl's disappearance from a dorm party sends the whole town on a massive search. It's a mystery, until one particular student arrives at his dorm, covered in blood. His roommates decide to turn him in, but that's just the start. He lies about what happened, until confronted with the evidence. When a truly dark tale emerges, we find out about a very creepy past, making it obvious, he was stopped before he could become a serial killer!!Along the way, we find out that it's hard to ride a bicycle during a Wyoming winter, that nobody can predict what will happen to the homecoming king, in the future, and that no matter what your story is, evidence always tells the real story!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Kirkland, Washington, what first appears to be a simple, yet horrifying murder, turns into a serial killer, stalking the area, and leaving women posed in terrible & suggestive positions. This posing makes everyone sure that they're dealing with one killer. This killer is known as "charming & likable", with many friends, and even connections to the police. But he's also a ruthless murderer, who would never stop, unless he was caught!!Along the way, we find out that Costco's signature brand comes from an actual place, that charm, and likability can only go so far when you turn into a serial killer, and that you definitely never want to be labeled as a "sadistic necrophile"!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Elkland, Missouri, when seven family members are brutally murdered, in two different homes, the lone survivor tells a tale of killing the murderer, after being wounded by him. The killer looks to be a teenager, who just snapped, due to too much responsibility for the family farm. But nothing turns out to be anything like it seems. The truth turns out to be a much more disturbing story, that leaves everyone in complete shock!!Along the way, we find out that we don't don't know anything about bluegrass music, that you can only put so much adult responsibility on a 14 year old, and that if you're going to slaughter 7 people, and try to frame someone else, you should plan the whole thing a little bit better!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Enid, Oklahoma, when a very upstanding couple is attacked, it leaves the husband dead, and the wife with a bullet wound. The problem is, nothing is as it seems. This nice, Sunday school teaching couple has also had some problems, mainly that this injured wife has been having affairs with seemingly everyone they know. Including a fellow Sunday school teacher, who looks extremely guilty. But was she in on it??Along the way, we find out how food trucks originally started, that no matter how much you want a relationship to work, both people have to want it, and that if you're going to claim that people tried to murder you, you should have more than a minor flesh wound!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Roebuck, South Carolina, police are called to beauty salon, to find the owner, horribly attacked & murdered, hanging from a duffle bag strap. There are several suspects, including her husband, a prisoner who confessed, and a young man, who told everyone that he wanted to date the dead woman. Even with DNA, it's a mystery, until a chance meeting causes a witness to come forward, unraveling the killer's whole world. Was this the only time he's killed?Along the way, we find out that you just can't stop the kids from writing with quill pens, that there's nothing worse than having to cut an annoying person's hair, and that even if someone confesses, there may be someone much guiltier, out there!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Sunnyside, California, a slaughter of three people, in an upscale suburban home, makes the area fear for their lives, but this turns out to be anything but random. It's actually a very calculated plan, concocted by a young man who idolized jailed stock swindlers, and murderous members of "The Billionaire Boys Club". This ruthless act allows him access to millions of dollars, and spend cash like the Menendez brothers!! Will he ever pay??Along the way, we find out Ludacris is inescapable, that greediness can form in childhood, and that if you murder your parents, you may want to hire a professional!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, there seems to be multiple people with motives for murder, when a brutally murdered man is found, on a dirt road, seemingly murdered while changing a tire. His wife & her best friend are suspects, along with the woman he's having an affair with & that woman's husband, and possibly a few others. Will cell tower data, and some statements to detectives that don't quite add up, convict someone for murder?? Did the right people even get arrested?Along the way, we find out that you can't tow a big boat with Honda Accord, that six adults should never live together in one trailer, and that going to prison for the rest of your life is a lot to ask of a friend!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Lenexa, Kansas, a lifelong con man slowly evolves into a prolific serial killer, luring women in with promises of jobs, money, and kinky sex, but all they ended up getting, was murdered. All of this, while maintaining the image of an upstanding father, husband, kid's sports coach & Sunday school teacher, but also running a residential brothel, and recruiting sex partners, under the screen name "Slavemaster"!!Along the way, we find out that BBQ, or spinach are apparently the only foods available in Kansas, that if someone offers you a job, that includes strange sex, that might be the best job, and that just because someone wears a tie, and combs their hair, it doesn't mean they don't have several bodies, rotting in oil drums!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Longmont, Colorado, a mailman is horribly murdered, while on his daily route, in broad daylight. Detectives wonder who could be that mad at a postal carrier, but soon find out that there was one particular person, who had several reasons to want him dead. An electronic trail lets police follow the murder, and know exactly who did what, and when. This uncovers a nasty plot, that had been in the works, for months!!Along the way, we find out that nothing is actually close to Denver, that you don't want to be dying around people who won't even give you CPR, and that you can't kill people in front of 10 different doorbell cameras, and not expect to get caught!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Arcadia Township, Michigan, it's a mystery, when a woman is found dead, floating in a lake, near a boat dock. Her husband says that he left the area, and she just disappeared, but the evidence tells a slightly different story, with her smashing to the concrete, before somehow ending up in the lake. Plus, affairs, gambling, alcohol & pills are all in the mix. Was this all a tragic accident, or was she murdered in a seriously cold blooded way??Along the way, we find out that local bands make for the strangest festivals, that an affair might not be a motive for murder, if you didn't know the affair was happening, and that human bodies definitely don't bounce off of concrete!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Lucin, Utah, a genuine mystery grips this extremely rural area, when a young man, trying to farm some remote land, disappears into thin air. There are a few suspects, including a local criminal, who walks the area with no shoes, and a big gun. There's also the local squatter, who seems to have had trouble with everyone. Eventually, some very incriminating pictures, from a retrieved cell phone solve the whole thing!!Along the way, we find out that land in ghost towns is super affordable, that rumors & gossip seem to be more ridiculous & spread faster, the smaller the town, and that you should never take a picture of yourself, with the victim's phone, while covered in blood!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Bethesda, Maryland, a twisted man quietly kills, for years, using an odd alter ego & even eating parts of certain victims. He is as disturbed as his serial murdering crimes, drawing strange pictures, and confessing to a man that he thinks is Jesus! He comes from a strange background, having the darkest things in common with his older brother. One of the craziest stories that we've ever done!Along the way, we find out that giving your kid certain nicknames may screw them up for life, that you shouldn't compete with your brother in some areas of life, and that even if you tell police where all the bodies are, it probably won't make the voices stop!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! In the end, this woman's mother ends up brutally murdered, with a weapon we haven't heard ever used in this way.
