I wrote this song titled "Here" at one of my darkest times. The thoughts of my sins surrounded me like mountains. I felt that I disappointed God one too many times, and that God didn't love me or want to be around me. I knew those thoughts weren't biblically true but I couldn't see past how I felt. My sincerest prayers felt like really good lies at best. Irritated at the sound of my own voice, I wrote this song; expressing how I felt, asking for His help, and declaring the beautiful truths of His love and faithfulness. God never wants you to feel unloved, this is why He poured his love in our heart (Romans 5:5). He wants you to feel - to experience His love in your very heart. This song is a fight for that feeling. Lyrics : God right here,God right now.I seek your face,Its my darkest hour.I can feel all my sins.I cant bear the guilt,or the shame in my heart.Help me be still.[Chorus]Help me stay right hereHelp me stay right here Pour out your Spirit Hold me close [Verse]Remind me Godof your promisesyour faithfulness to forgive [Chorus]Christ has won it on the crossNo more sin.The veil has been tornI enter in [Chorus]And I’ll stay right hereI will stay right here And bask in your loveIt's always enough[Bridge]I feel your love within my heart x2Ever Faithful [call and response] (Reprise) Ever Present [call and response] (Reprise)Thank you Jesus [call and response][Chorus]I am free from guiltI am free from shameThe victory is minein Jesus name x2[Outro]God right here,God right now.Your will is doneI feel freedom now.
