Things don't really stick so much. Life's struggles. Of course, I still have them; I'm human like everyone else. If you're working on that mindfulness, you control your emotions a little more, or you don't wear them on your sleeve so much. Some of life's struggles don't really stick to you so much. You really try to protect that inner peace as much as you can. I try to keep my emotions steady, but there are times when we have those ups and downs. For the most part, I think that being more mindful just helps a lot with the emotions. Thoughts on Breathing If we go from a health standpoint, we could talk about eating nutrient-rich food and drinking water and exercising but our breath is [so important] we can't survive without it. Some of us can only go a couple of seconds without it. It's something that I encourage my clients to and promote to get in touch without breathing and to breathe more and to breathe purposefully and to really concentrate on that. I try to get some kind of breath work in on a daily basis. Whether it be a meditation practice concentrating on the breath or a deep breathing practice. I think it's so essential because it is that kind of life force that many of us don't pay attention to, we take it for granted, but we get stressed out, we get angry, the first thing that starts to become restricted is our breathing. It's so important and I try to make a daily practice for myself. I had my share of getting picked on and getting bullied. There were times when kids picked on me and it would hurt. There'd be that one kid I struggled with in class. Looking back I think as I got more into mindfulness and meditation, certain things just don't stick to you as much when you have that kind of practice going where you are more mindful. I think that would have helped a lot. These kinds of fears and worries that I had of just calming down, getting that quietness. I think a lot of these things that I struggled with probably wouldn't have stuck as much. I would have brushed them off a little bit more.

Many are affected with concentration within our daily lives. Food, atmosphere and sometimes interesting motivation or a lack there of can play a part in finding your calm healthy state of being. Donnie Desanti know too well about finding g balance and has come full circle from childhood to adult. Labeled as the kid who could not sit still, disrupted class, and frequented school  detention. After some time Donnie was diagnosed as ADHD,  having a little too much energy was causing disrupting problems within Donnie's life and those in his family.  A prescription of Ritalin was issues to calm and manage Donnie's energy/focus.  After some time with the new prescription his grades and overall social performance . Issuing a foreign chemical to the human body is not easy for most people and Donnie was no different. The are side effects to many prescriptions. Ritalin help with the focus and high energy levels but as Donnie stated during the billionaire lifestyle podcast he felt a little emotionally broken and embarrassed. After approximately 8 years of taking Ritalin, Donnie decided to take ownership of his mental and physical health after being inspired by a woman who spoke as a guest at his high school.  During the lecture Donnie learned how this woman who was presenting cured her cancer with a change in diet. Feeling inspired by a sense of direction after that meeting. Donnie set out to find the key combination key for his mind-body and soul. Incorporating  exercise, meditation and diet was the missing link.  Donnie's health journey is drive ing him to spread knowledge, while helping other who may think there is no other alternative to doctors. The key is to get back to the basics. Feed the mind, body and soul with good and it will sustain your being. Who Donnie can Help. The journey to discovery for  Donnie started  as conversations with his parents, helping him identify specific triggers to remove those trigger components in baby steps.  Modern food and living stresses expose many people to triggers of physiological and psychological stimulus. These environmental components may have adverse affects upon our well specific well-being. A quick internet search detail the negative  effects of sugars, such as high fructose corn syrup on the body. Compounding the newly bombardment of electromagnetic waves can alter many things in a person, as many of these triggers are new to our society being introduced over the last 20 years. With the campaign of looking at sugar, Donnie found it's not as simple as cookies, cakes and ice cream. There can be as many as 52 different names for high fructose corn syrup found in almost everything we consume. Three actionable steps Donnie DeSanti recommends taking for better health are to: 1 ) Start your day with an inner bath- Before coffee, tea, and even food, why not start the day with a warm cup of water with half of a lemon squeezed in? Since our bodies are most dehydrated and most acidic in the morning, the lemon helps flush out the acidity and toxins, while re-hydrating the body. Most of my clients find this helpful tip the most effective/beneficial addition to their health practice. 2 ) Kick up sleep game- Sleep is one of the most overlooked luxuries we can treat ourselves to. When it comes to a good night sleep, darkness is our friend. Ideally, we should follow the flow of nature by dimming down all the synthetic lights in our life once the sun has set. Shut down the computer, turn off the TV’s, and put down your phone. When we do not follow the natural nighttime rhythm and subject ourselves to a variety of artificial lights, we are essentially sending a message to our brains, through our eyes, that it’s in fact still daytime. In turn, the obedient body listens and starts to produce more cortisol, the energy hormone, in order to keep us up. To prevent a surge of nighttime energy, make the bedroom as dark as possible at night and keep the TV and other bright lights outside the bedroom. Our difficulty in seeing in the dark should reassure us that we are not night owls, yet we continue to burn the midnight oil. It's time to set an earlier curfew. When we stay up late, we are missing out on the most crucial hours of sleep. To be specific, studies show the most reparative hours of sleep occur in the beginning hours of the night between 9-11 pm. During this time, our bodies drift off into a deeper sleep state that helps strengthen the immune system, keeps our cells healthy, and produces more efficient energy for the next day. 3 )  Change your mindset- A healthier, more fulfilling life starts with the thoughts you have about yourself. Stress is the silent killer inside our bodies and the negative effects are often overlooked. Change your thoughts and you can change your world.
