In this episode, Ryan sits down with hunter, world-traveler, and Manager of Marketing and PR for Huntin' Fool magazine Jessica Byers. Jessica grew up in Temple, TX as one of 3 girls who all loved the outdoors and hunting with their Dad. Hunting and fishing has always been a constant in her life and not long after graduating from Texas A&M (we won't hold it against her) she made it a career by traveling the world in pursuit of epic hunts and writing about it all. She now resides in Utah, where Huntin' Fool HQ is, and continues to hunt a variety of species all over the country. Ryan and Jessica discuss how hunting has impacted their lives and lessons learned while preparing for and participating in rigorous hunts.

Fool HQ got a treat recently. Kyle Pounders, friend of the pod and owner of the food truck Excaliburger, came by to serve up burgers to the office. While he was in town, we got him into the studio to catch up on what he's been up to. Since we first met him at SXSW, Kyle has been traveling the country with his truck, but recently he's gone from touring to targeted trips to areas hit by natural disasters and he's tweaking his business model to try and be able to give more. His story seemed like the perfect one to share at a time when we're all trying to be mindful, thankful, and charitable. If you missed our first episode on Kyle, you can check it out here: https://www.fool.com/podcasts/industry-focus/2018-03-31-bonus-the-sword-in-the-bun/ Check out more of our content here: TMF's podcast portal YouTube Twitter LinkedIn Or, reach us by email @ IndustryFocus@fool.com
