In this episode of Darkness & Light, Rabbi Steve Berkson continues in the Gospel of John, the twelfth chapter, where “certain Greeks” wanted to see Yeshua. • Who were these “Greeks”? What did they want with Yeshua? From this event Rabbi Berkson makes the point that Messiah Yeshua was beginning to draw those of the nations (Gentiles) to Himself, fulfilling the purpose for which He was sent. • In what way do we serve Messiah Yeshua, according to Him? • Do you love your life in this world more than wholly following Yeshua? Yeshua also made the statement, “the ruler of this world shall be cast out.” • Who is “the ruler of this world”? • Who needs to be dethroned and cast out? • If Yeshua is Messiah, why did He have to die? Who is this “Son of Adam” Yeshua referred to Himself as? • If one rejects Messiah Yeshua and does not receive His words, what will judge him/her in the last day? What are His words? Then, Rabbi Steve takes us to the apostle Paul’s testimony of his journey from darkness into light in Acts chapter 26. In verse 18 Paul quotes the Prophet Isaiah in telling King Agrippa about the commission he has received from the master Yeshua. However, previously in the time of Joseph, because of revelation from G-d, mass population was spared. G-d has always used the Jews to bless the world. Daniel honored G-d, and G-d honored Daniel. From a teenager taken into captivity, through probably his 80’s, Daniel served as Prime Minister in three (3) different empires: Babylon; The Medes; and, Persia.  To Daniel, at the latter part of his life, was also revealed end time prophecy pertaining to Israel, the world, and both of Messiah’s appearances: as Suffering Servant (Isaiah 53), and as King (Psalm 2). All these honors were in addition to Daniel surviving the den of lions into which he was thrown for praying to his G-d.  G-d is the same today. In the Tanakh, we read in the Book of Malachi: “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed.” There are a lot of cataclysmic changes happening in the world today: SEVERAL CATACLYSMIC CHANGES ARE EVOLVING IN THE WORLD NOW 1. Next February, Israel will be voting for a new prime minister, government, and parliament. Iran will be putting together a new bomb or nuclear warhead (if not sooner). 2. At that time, the new USA president will have been in office 20 days. The economic and social disintegration of the USA, brought about by commercial, educational, and governmental mismanagement and malaise, will result in lack of support for Israel. 3. The underpinning of a 10 region confederacy will be theorized by the EU, out of which the New World Order will appoint a leader who will be an arch enemy of Israel. 4. The Islamic and Palestinian hatred of Israel will bring pressure upon Israel to sign an accord, the architect of which will be the leader of the EU / New World Order. He will agree to PROTECT Israel in exchange for their signing this treaty. This accord will be a seven (7) year treaty – a unification document – allowing Israel to build her Temple on or near the Temple Mount in exchange for land and Jerusalem compromises. This will usher in a time of great persecution for the Jewish People 42 months AFTER the signing of this accord. (See Jeremiah 30:6-7 and Daniel 9:27.) The focus of the new world leader will then turn from protection of Israel - TO - persecution of Israel. WATCH FOR THIS: A COMING WORLD LEADER WHO WILL BE WOUNDED IN THE HEAD, AND HIS DEADLY WOUND WILL BE HEALED. This coming world leader, who rides into office on a platform of peace, will be worse than Hitler in Nazi Germany. He will first appear as a man of peace: a “messiah” with answers for the Middle East and the world situation. “For when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” REVELATION FOR ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE: Again, be encouraged! G-d is for Israel. G-d is for Jerusalem. G-d is for YOU … if you are for Him!  But, make sure you know Him. If Yeshua is not Yahweh shouldn't we find areas where the two do not share certain characteristics? What do we do with the attributes that are shared by the Father and the Son? Do we just ignore these Scriptures?

Many people that lived during the ministry of Yeshua believed he was the Son of David. Where they wrong? If Yeshua is the Son of David, then how does David call his descendant Master? Father's do not generally call their son's Master, do they?
