JACK CORRIGAN AT 12:35 TO TALK BASEBALL As pitchers and catchers have reported and game start this weekend, it's time to talk baseball. After having my heart ripped out repeatedly by this franchise I'm looking for anything to look forward to this year.

Jack Corrigan is the Voice of the Colorado Rockies on 850 KOA and iHeartRadio, and has experienced more in his life than most dare to dream of. From growing up in a large Irish-Catholic family in Ohio, blocking for a Heisman hopeful and going to class with Superman at Cornell, to calling MLB games for over 40 years, Jack has lived his best life, being grateful for each day he gets! While calling baseball takes up most of his time, Jack cherishes the moments he gets to spend painting, writing, and most importantly, with his family. I won't be recording while watching these next few games, as I want to sit back and enjoy hearing Jack Corrigan talk about the Guardians. I explain why he was the announcer of my youth and still one of my favorite announcers ever. I talk about why it is a bit sad that kids without cable don't have the chances to watch this baseball team as I had as a kid. In general how baseball has made it harder and harder to watch their sport, and one has to wonder if part of the reason football is so successful is it is also so accessible. We get into a game the Cleveland Guardians tried their best to give away. We talk about my issues with the lineup. Just in terms of OPS, this team is batting their second and third worst hitters in the top two spots in front of the best hitter in baseball. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS THAT ARE HOLY CAN WE STOP SLIDING INTO FIRST BASE. How is this still a thing? We talk about the big moments both the successes and failures that lead to this game being closer than it should have been. We end with a discussion of the three stars of this game, before discussing tomorrow's matchup and why it is the only one that I am nervous about in this series.
