Is the game gone? Is there too much money in football? Is American Football kinda communist? Beer Christianity talks to sometime sports journalist and head of Be With Community, Jamie Cutteridge, about the Super League controversy, why we support sports teams and how capitalism may or may not be ruining soccer. In honour of that, here’s the official Beer Christianity football jersey: We also cover: why Chiltern Brewery is so cool for Christians; a Beer Christianity OnlyFans; how to game the Beer52 system, really without trying at all; whether all footballers are good looking; Harry Kane’s hair; performative masculinity and white male working class identity in sport and whether any other word prefixes ‘hooligan’ better than ‘football’. You can find out more about Jamie’s community at BeWith.community and read the book he recommended, And the Sun Shines Now, now. You can also hear cool local football thoughts from at least one Christian on the We Found a Game podcast. And don’t forget to read that Tribune Magazine article on fan-owned football and think about subscribing to a good socialist publication. This episode powered (but not sponsored) by: a great sparkling ale from Chiltern Brewery and some Inferno by Oakham brewery, among other things. It's this: Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came to teach us a better way to be while reconciling us to God and each other in a way we could never do without Him. He also changed water into wine. Nice.

In the first of a two part special, he talks to Justin Brierley about why he lost his faith, and about his latest stage show Miracle in which he plays the persona of a healing evangelist. Justin and Derren also discuss the resurrection of Jesus, atheism and finding meaning in life. Next week’s show sees them discuss in detail the content of the Miracle stage show. It's playoff time and what better way to celebrate than with 2 amazing guests! We welcome back Jamie Cutteridge from Any Given Sunday Night & @UKNFL to talk about all the weekends incidents and to preview next weeks match ups. To celebrate yet another incredible "Football Life" documentary this week we're joined by Greg Frith from NFL Films to talk about his "Rose Bowl 2006" Documentary featuring the greatest game of College Football ever played between USC & Texas, Snoop Dogg & a pre (and technically post) Mcconaissance Matthew Mcconaughey. Don't forget our Super Bowl Party on Feb 1st @ Bloomsbury Lanes in London - tickets available from http://bloomsburylive.com/superbowl
This week on Forward the Hamlet we speak to Gavin Rose about pre-season, Jack and Duncan from the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Trust, and Kingstonian fan Jamie Cutteridge about the forthcoming match. Presented and produced by Hugo Greenhalgh and Jack McInroy.
So that's the division games in the books leaving us with 4 teams, well come to mention it, THE four teams... We talk about how it all came to pass and welcome back our old mucker Jamie Cutteridge from Any Given Sunday Night as well as welcoming on Colm from Overtime Ireland to go back over some game tape. Don't forget - Super Bowl Party tickets on sale now - see u there peeps...
Snow, snow and more snow was upon us in week 14 and it helped make for what will go down in history as THE HOUR which occurred between around 8:45 and 9:45pm on Sunday night. If you didn't see it we'll help you relive it all, well as best as we possibly can, well some of us will, Inie wasn't that impressed with the snow as you'll be able to tell with his mini rant to open the pod. We saw records tumble, 88 TD's and the last 2 minutes of a game that will never be equalled. This was too much for two people so we invited back our boy Jamie Cutteridge from Any Given Sunday Night for this one..
We're at the halfway point of the season and after looking pretty bum this week on paper - it turned into a cracker of a week and we're here to break down all the triple box busting action. We unfortunately have to cover some pretty unfortunate off field news as Rookies get hazed and stressed out guys get sick but alongside that we cover off some amazing action and also do that think - "if the playoffs were today..." Alas no Inie today but we get our "Wooooooo" from one of our favourite people, Jamie Cutteridge from @UKNFL who steps in and seamlessly fills the vacant pair of Zubaz pants.
It's been a truly amazing week in the best city in the world. The Vikings and Steelers took part in what turned into a really great game and we use the pod this week to break it all down. We welcome back one of our favourite guests, Jamie Cutteridge from @UKNFL and look back over the past week in the capital and celebrate how this has to have been the best International Series games to date. We catch up with M-O-M & general G.O.D Adrian Peterson & some of his fellow Vikings to get their take on being in London this week and as yesterday also saw the end of one of the greatest TV S shows of all time we had to chat Breaking Bad at the end, warning this comes with spoilers so if you don't want to know then peace out with 15 mins to go. Incredible week, it really was.
The NFL is baaaaaaack! It starts again this Thursday and what better way to celebrate than with a big 2013 season preview pod with one of our favourite and regular guests, Jamie Cutteridge from @UKNFL and AnyGivenSundayNight. We go through all the teams - who to watch, who not to watch - make some picks and hopefully guide you through the season. We unfortunately decided to give Inie a kids microphone (we stole it from T-Pain) for some of this show so there's a muffled Inie for some sections of this pod (don't worry he's fine..) and it shouldn't spoil a cracking preview pod - let's go!
In part two of a two parter this week, James and Inie have the pleasure to be joined Sports presenter Arlo White, a veteran of 5 BBC Superbowl Commentaries. Arlo, now based in the States, discusses the growth of the sport here and it's parallels with soccer in the United States. He gives us his Superbowl pick, the importance of all the things that happen around the big game and what it's like being a cricket fan in the United States. We're also joined by Jamie Cutteridge of @UKNFL, he breaks down this past season from Bountygate to Fail Mary and more. He also gives us his favourite prop bets for the game on Sunday. http://jameshamlin.podomatic.com/
Inie and James return to break down all the happenings in week 15 in the NFL. The lads are joined on the pod this week by Jamie Cutteridge from the excellent @UKNFL crew - an additional third of NFL perspective this week for all you NFL fans
