Rocking stages since 2014, Sons of Liberty are the UK's own original Hard Southern Rock Band, drawn together by a shared love of the incredible music of the Southern States of America. Sons of Liberty's first release was their 2018 debut EP "Shinola", 5 tracks of hard hitting southern rock'n'roll.  The follow up "Aged in Oak" was released later that year, stepping things up a notch and featuring the single "Damned If You Do" which was voted #4 EP of The Year by New Wave Of Classic Rock. In 2019, the band wrote and recorded their LP Animism. Sons will be releasing and their new album, "Aces and Eights", on Friday June 18. Aces was recorded at Momentum Studios and produced by Josiah J Manning. MASKED is a 15 minute feature that follows the story of High Schooler, Zoe, struggling to come out as a trans man. After knowing who they truly are for a while, Zoe finds themselves fatigued by their fear of whether others will accept them or not. The teenagers were involved in all elements of production, including, but not limited to; Story & script writing, character development, production design, producing, directing, camera, lighting, sound production & post production. Today we talk exclusively to Momentum Studios CEO & Co-Director of MASKED, Michael Hardinge as well as Sam Jelley, a member of the "Free to be Me" teen group behind the production. The online release of MASKED follows the sold-out premiere held at the Knox Community Arts Centre. The film is currently being screened in film festivals around the world.
