Movie tickets? Bought. Notebooks? Out. Butts? In seats. The Mandalorian and Grogu was the first theatrical release we had the opportunity to see during Growing Up Skywalker's run—and what a joy it was to see Star Wars on the big screen! This week, we're covering the first half of the movie, from opening credits to Embo's first appearance, and parsing themes of fatherhood, masculinity, and bread-and-circus blood sports. We discuss the strategic importance of this movie in giving movie-only fans a taste of the New Republic in its heyday. We also sing the praises of Rotta the Hutt (he who paints arenas with blood and sets the stage for a classic Mandalorian-style romp) and Zeb, who is only getting better with age.Next week, join us for the back half of The Mandalorian & Grogu!Timestamps:00:00:00 Who Are We?00:02:45 Plot Summary00:13:15 The New Republic and Subcontractor Reliance00:31:13 We Have Heart Eyes For Rotta the Hutt00:50:32 Zeb!00:57:43 Bae Watch01:04:03 Closing ThoughtsWant more Growing Up Skywalker? In this solo Power House episode, Zeb Lowe delivers an overview of housing economics built specifically for the professionals working inside the industry every day. Framing the conversation around a simple idea — that housing professionals are expected to be experts without ever being formally taught how the market truly works — Zeb breaks down the core economic concepts that separate good operators from elite ones. The episode spends significant time on the psychology driving today's market, particularly the way buyers remain anchored to pandemic-era 3% mortgage rates that were never historically normal. Zeb explains why professionals who can contextualize the market (rather than simply repeat headlines) become indispensable advisors to clients navigating uncertainty. He also pushes back on some of the industry's most persistent myths, including the inevitability of another 2008-style crash, the belief that buyers need 20% down, and the assumption that waiting for lower rates will automatically create better affordability. Throughout the episode, the central theme remains clear: America's housing shortage is still the defining force shaping affordability, pricing and transaction activity. Ultimately, Zeb makes the case that market fluency is no longer optional. In an environment flooded with national headlines, misinformation and economic noise, the professionals who understand local data, behavioral trends and long-term supply dynamics will be the ones clients trust most. On this episode of Power House, Zeb Lowe sits down with longtime mortgage executive, consultant and podcast host Coby Hakalir for a candid conversation about one of the housing industry's most contentious topics: credit reporting, FICO scoring and the future of mortgage regulation. The discussion centers around his viral op-ed challenging the current mortgage credit ecosystem and questioning whether the industry has become too defensive of legacy systems at the expense of competition and innovation. Zeb and Coby unpack rising credit report costs, the role of the FHFA, unintended consequences of regulation and why loan officers need a deeper understanding of the systems shaping borrower outcomes. The conversation also explores misinformation in today's market, the importance of industry engagement and why difficult cycles often reveal which professionals are truly committed to evolving with the business. At its core, this episode is about challenging assumptions, questioning entrenched systems and asking what a smarter, more competitive mortgage industry could actually look like. Star Wars has been building to this for six years, and "The Mandalorian and Grogu" opens this week as the first big-screen chapter of Din Djarin and Grogu's story. Matthew, Alex, and Erin put together the primer you need: Din's origins as a foundling of the Children of the Watch, Grogu's choice to stay with Mando over the Jedi, where Season 3 left the two of them, and how the Shadow Council connects to the First Order. Also covered: Sigourney Weaver as a New Republic colonel, Garazeb Orrelios from "Star Wars Rebels" making his live-action debut, and Rotta the Hutt, son of Jabba, voiced by Jeremy Allen White. The episode gets into the debates worth having before you sit down: whether some Hutts speaking Galactic Basic is internally consistent (Erin makes the case and lands it), whether the film will acknowledge the canonical romance between Zeb and Agent Kallus, and what Mando's new status as an off-the-books New Republic contractor means for his approach to bounty hunting. Martin Scorsese is voicing a character named Hugo. It needs explaining, and the hosts explain it. Before signing off, a round of congratulations to Erin on completing nursing school and her pinning ceremony. **************************************************************************This episode is a production of Star Wars Generations, an Ethical Panda podcast and part of the TruStory FM Entertainment Podcast Network. On this episode of Power House, Zeb Lowe sits down with AI and enterprise software executive Stephen to discuss where artificial intelligence is actually headed in mortgage lending beyond the hype cycle. Stephen explains why the industry is shifting from flashy AI promises to practical implementation, with the real opportunity centered around augmenting teams, improving workflows, and scaling production more efficiently. The conversation also explores why mortgage tech adoption has historically struggled, and why change management — not technology itself — remains one of the industry's biggest obstacles. Zeb and Stephen also dive into interoperability challenges, clean data infrastructure, AI drift, and how artificial intelligence could reshape staffing models, lender consolidation, and loan cycle times over the next several years. At its core, this episode is about a simple reality: the lenders investing in AI infrastructure and adoption today may define the next era of mortgage lending. In this solo episode of Power House, Zeb Lowe explores the possibility that housing is moving out of the innovation era and into the predictive turn. For years, the industry has focused on speed, automation, and better user experience. But perhaps the next real competitive advantage is no longer innovation. It's calibration. In a business built on forecasts, probabilities, and expectations, the professionals who win will be the ones whose instruments are closest to reality. The episode explores why housing has always been a prediction business, how AI is changing the way borrowers gather information, and why human interpretation matters more than ever in high-stakes financial decisions. Zeb also offers practical guidance for loan officers, agents, and executives looking to improve forecast accuracy, communicate uncertainty more clearly, and build trust in a market increasingly shaped by predictive tools. At its core, this episode is about a simple idea: in the next phase of housing, accuracy will matter more than speed. İmâm-ı A‘zam Ebû Hanîfe (r.a.)'in hayatının ilk yıllarında hadîs öğrenmiş ve özellikle fakih muhaddislerden hadîs almıştır. Ebû Davud et-Tayâlisî (r.âleyh)'in rivayetine göre, Ebû Hanîfe (r.a.) şöyle demiştir: "H. 80 senesinde doğdum, 94 senesinde sahâbî Abdullah b. Enes (r.a.) geldi. Onu 14 yaşımda gördüm ve ondan Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v.)'in; "Bir şeyi aşırı sevmen gözünü kör, kulağını sağır eder" hadîsini işittim." İmâm Ebû Yusuf (r.a.)'in rivayeti ise şöyledir: "H. 80 senesinde doğdum; 16 yaşımda, 96 senesinde babamla birlikte haccettim. Mescid-i Haram'a girdiğimde büyük bir kalabalık gördüm ve babama sordum. Babam; "Bu, sahâbeden Abdullah b. Haris ez-Zebîdî (r.a.)'in ilim halkasıdır" dedi. İlim halkasına katıldım ve Abdullah b. Haris (r.a.)'i; "Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'i "Dîninde fakih olan kimseyi Allâh (c.c.) ummadığı yerden rızıklandırır ve kederlerini giderir" buyururken işittim" dediğini duydum. İmam-ı Azam ilim öğrenmeye başladığında kendisine; "Hadîs ilmini tercih edersen sonunda hata ettiğinde, seni yalancılıkla itham ederler ve alaya alınırsın" şeklinde nakledilen haber sahih değildir. Çünkü Kur'ân ve Sünnet'i bilmeyen fakih olamaz. Onun Kur'ân ve Sünnet'i bilmediği halde İmâm-ı Şafiî (r.a.)'in; "İnsanlar Ebû Hanîfe (r.a.)'in fıkhına muhtaçtır" diye ifade ettiği seviyeye ulaştığını kâbul edip, sonra da "Ebû Hanîfe (r.a.) hadîs bilmiyordu" dememiz büyük bir çelişkidir. (Muhaddisler Nazarında İmam-ı A'zam Ebû Hanîfe, c.1, s.96-97)

WATCH THE EPISODE HEREIn this EpisodeHighlights & “Must-Listen” Moments* 0:00 — Another chaotic tech day: An hour of audio problems before the show even begins. The invitation went out to 250,000 people; by the time they got the show running, 16 lovely souls had joined. David was cursing like a sailor off-camera. Business as usual.* 1:56 — Amy's food week: Passover, Easter, cardamom buns, and scrambled eggs: Amy hosted both Passover and Easter in the same week — a double-whammy that was exhausting and wonderful. She made the cardamom buns from Juno Bakery in Copenhagen again (they came out beautifully), and then had a quiet week after that, during which she rediscovered the joy of perfect scrambled eggs: generous olive oil, high heat to start, back of a fork, constant small wrist movements to create tiny curds, then immediately turn the heat down. Creamy, silky, and completely underrated.* 4:30 — Amy's Weekends with Yankee shout-out: Episode two of the new season is out now on public television. Featured recipe: a tomato tartine from Groundswell Café in Tiverton, Rhode Island, right on the Farm Coast where Rhode Island and Massachusetts meet. Available on newengland.com.* 5:31 — David's food week: Homemade Spaghetti Amatriciana and Prime Heritage Pork Chops: David made homemade spaghetti amatriciana from scratch — the first time he's ever run spaghetti through the roller — and the results were restaurant-quality. His version includes guanciale or pancetta, DOP San Marzano tomatoes, a touch of balsamic vinegar (not traditional, but it lifts the whole dish), red pepper flakes, and Pecorino. Then, the main event: prime heritage pork chops from Boardman Bridge Butchers, two inches thick, served simply with salt, pepper, roasted sweet potato, and a salad. What pork tasted like before factory farming. David nearly wept.* 8:42 — ADHD update: David finally has a coach and a PsyD on his team. Progress is being made. The meds remain elusive, but we're getting there.* 9:01 — Introducing Jessica Battilana: Amy introduces their guest — Jessica Battilana, staff editor at King Arthur Baking Company, award-winning writer and recipe developer, co-host of the King Arthur podcast Things Bakers Know, co-author of the #1 New York Times bestselling The King Arthur Big Book of Bread, and author of her own book Repertoire: All the Recipes You Need. She also co-authored Vietnamese Home Cooking with Charles Phan, Tartine Book No. 3 with Chad Robertson, and Baking at 20th Century Cafe with Michelle Polzine — among 16 books total. Amy and Jessica have known each other for two decades, from their Sunset Magazine days in California to Boston Magazine, and ran into each other in line for Bridget Everett at a Boston theater just last week.* 10:40 — The new King Arthur pizza book: Jessica's 16th book, a King Arthur pizza book, just dropped. David has been raving about it on the show. Photographed by Andy Lee; the photography alone is stunning.* 13:35 — Jessica's broken oven (and a sneak peek at her next solo book): Jessica's home oven has been out for six to seven weeks. Making this particularly painful: she's working on her second solo cookbook — tentatively titled This Is What We're Having — due out (hopefully) next spring from Norton. One of the recipes is a banana cake with whipped caramel frosting, which created a bread-bowl-shaped lava situation during testing. The oven is definitely broken.* 16:09 — Q&A: Bread scoring tips from Peter in the audience: Jessica's advice — chill your dough overnight in the banneton, use a fresh double-sided razor blade (not a lame), and score with speed and confidence — hesitation causes dragging. David's tip: hold the lame at a very steep angle to create an ear, and don't be afraid to make two or three passes. Amy's breakthrough: line your banneton with a flour-sack towel dusted with flour before the overnight fridge proof. The cotton wicks away moisture and makes scoring dramatically easier.* 21:00 — About King Arthur Baking Company: America's oldest flour company, over 200 years old, based in Norwich, Vermont. Employee-owned (400 employee-owners), certified B Corp. The campus includes a café, a baking school, and a retail store. They produce roughly 500 original recipes a year, all free on their website. Jessica confirms: it really is as great as it seems.* 23:24 — David's King Arthur confession: The viral NYT chocolate chip cookie article — the one where you rest the dough for 36 hours — was developed using King Arthur cake flour and King Arthur bread flour. The Times doesn't allow brand names, but the secret is out.* 24:03 — Q&A: Best baking advice you've ever gotten? Jessica's answer: practice. Not a flashy answer, but an honest one. You learn something every single time you bake — the second attempt is always better than the first. Kate McDermott bakes a pie every single day and gives it away. Jessica's invented solution to the problem of getting enough repetitions: a silicone bread butt cheek (like the injection-training prop she used during IVF), so bakers could practice scoring without committing a whole loaf. It does not yet exist. Someone should make it. Amy's advice: read the recipe all the way through first. She ignores this about 50% of the time and always regrets it.* 29:18 — Baker vs. cook — is there a divide? Jessica doesn't have a favorite. She bakes bread, makes dessert, and cooks weeknight dinners for her family every night. Her forthcoming book This Is What We're Having is about exactly that — the family dinner, the one meal, take it or leave it.* 31:04 — Jessica's winding career path: La Varenne cooking school in France → Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge (starting at the register, per her own career advice: “Take the worst job at the best place”) → private chefing → Chez Panisse receptionist in San Francisco (where every shift ended with a staff meal from the previous night's leftovers) → lunch lady at her kids' San Francisco elementary school, cooking for 250 children until the pandemic closed schools in March 2020.* 39:37 — Birthday cakes for every occasion: Jessica's go-to is the chocolate layer cake from Repertoire — creamed butter and sugar, chocolate throughout, ganache mounted with butter — always requested by her older son. For her younger son, who has turned vanilla, she reaches for King Arthur's Classic Birthday Cake: a reverse-creamed yellow cake with an almost-boxed-cake crumb that is genuinely excellent. Also discussed: Chef Zeb's Hot Milk Cake on the KA site (thin, soupy batter that bakes up with a chiffon-like crumb), and the triumphant return of ermine frosting — the original red velvet frosting, made from a cooked flour paste, that KA now offers in both vanilla and chocolate. It's poised for a comeback. Jessica's test kitchen calls it “weasel frosting,” which is not helping its case.* 42:12 — Amy and David's birthday cake confessions: Amy has long relied on Shirley Corriher's ultra-rich yellow cake (so much butter, so many egg yolks — in this economy?), with chocolate frosting for Scott and white frosting for herself. She also loves Rosie's Bakery's All Butter, Fresh Cream, Sugar-Packed Baking Book — particularly the frosting made in a blender with evaporated milk. David is Team Ermine.* 44:48 — A glimpse behind the curtain at KA's test kitchen: Jessica is literally being waved at through her office pod window to come taste baked Alaska for the new general baking book (cakes, cookies, pies) coming out fall 2027. All in a day's work.* 45:27 — Goodbye, Jessica: She's always happy to chat. Things Bakers Know is available as a podcast and a Substack. A visit to the King Arthur campus in Norwich, Vermont is highly recommended.Recipes Mentioned* Scrambled Eggs with Olive Oil (Amy's back-of-the-fork method)* Tomato Tartine (from Groundswell Café, Tiverton, RI; on newengland.com)* Cardamom Buns* Homemade Spaghetti Amatriciana (with guanciale, San Marzano tomatoes, balsamic vinegar)* Prime Heritage Pork Chops (from Boardman Bridge Butchers, New Milford, CT)* Portuguese Orange Olive Oil Cake* Banana Cake with Whipped Caramel Frosting (from Jessica's forthcoming book)* Chocolate Layer Cake with Ganache Butter Frosting (from Repertoire)* King Arthur Classic Birthday Cake (reverse-creamed yellow cake)* Chef Zeb's Hot Milk Cake (on kingarthurbaking.com)* Vanilla Ermine Frosting (on kingarthurbaking.com)* Chocolate Ermine Frosting (on kingarthurbaking.com)* Shirley Corriher's Ultra-Rich Yellow Cake (from BakeWise)* Rosie's Bakery Evaporated Milk Frosting (from The All Butter, Fresh Cream, Sugar-Packed Baking Book)* Baked Alaska (being taste-tested at KA HQ as we speak)Books and Publications* The King Arthur Baking Company Big Book of Bread by Jessica Battilana et al. — the #1 NYT bestseller Amy uses every week* King Arthur Baking Company's Book of Pizza Martin Philip and David Tamarkin with Jessica Battilana — just released* Repertoire: All the Recipes You Need by Jessica Battilana — published 2018* This Is What We're Having by Jessica Battilana — forthcoming from Norton, spring 2027* Vietnamese Home Cooking by Charles Phan (with Jessica Battilana)* Tartine Book No. 3 by Chad Robertson (with Jessica Battilana)* Baking at 20th Century Cafe by Michelle Polzine (with Jessica Battilana)* BakeWise by Shirley Corriher (source of Amy's go-to yellow cake)* Rosie's Bakery All-Butter, Fresh Cream, Sugar-Packed, No-Holds-Barred Baking Book by Judy Rosenberg* Rose's Christmas Cookies by Rose Levy Beranbaum (mentioned by Domenica Marchetti last episode — source of the almond crescent recipe)Where to Find Us* Amy Traverso* Instagram | Yankee* David Leite* Instagram | Pinterest | Facebook | Youtube* Jessica Battilana* Blog | Instagram | King Arthur This is a public episode. Welcome to Chatter with BNC, Business North Carolina's weekly podcast, serving up interviews with some of the Tar Heel State's most interesting people. In this episode, Ben Kinney speaks with Zeb Smathers, the mayor of Canton, North Carolina, about how his small western North Carolina town has weathered an extraordinary run of adversity — from COVID to Tropical Storm Fred's devastating floods, the sudden closure of the paper mill that employed 1,100 people, and Hurricane Helene. A Duke undergrad and UNC law graduate who returned home to practice law with his father, Zeb shares how Canton went from a 20% downtown occupancy rate to nearly 90% by embracing its authentic mill town identity rather than trying to become something it wasn't. He lays out his bold vision for "The Hometown of Tomorrow" — redeveloping the 150-acre former mill site into an economic engine for the entire region — and reflects on the grit and grace that define not just Canton, but North Carolina's small towns.

In this episode, Zeb Lowe speaks with Dr. Jessica Lautz about framing housing economics not as a machine, but as a living organism shaped by human behavior, demographics, and local dynamics. She breaks down the “80/20” of housing fluency (inventory and affordability) and explains why professionals don't need to be economists, but must clearly understand what's available and whether buyers can afford it. Dr. Lautz outlines the biggest structural forces shaping today's market: a persistent inventory shortage, pent-up millennial demand, rising down payments, delayed first-time buyer entry, and shifting household formation patterns. She also challenges national headlines, emphasizing the importance of local data and reminding listeners that affordability extends beyond rates and prices to total cost of ownership. Looking ahead to 2026–2027, she highlights the key signals to watch: construction activity, existing inventory, mortgage applications, and demographic demand. For housing professionals seeking clarity in a noisy market, this conversation turns macro trends into practical insight. In this episode of Power House, host Zeb Lowe sits down with mortgage marketing strategist Bri Lees to tackle one of the industry's biggest tensions: how to create marketing that's authentic, effective, and still compliant. Bri argues that bland mortgage marketing isn't a creativity problem; it's a leadership problem. When executive teams fail to define their compliance philosophy or brand identity, loan officers default to “safe” messaging that feels forgettable. With clear guardrails and alignment, she explains, companies can build marketing that feels human and differentiated without crossing regulatory lines. In this solo Power House episode, Zeb Lowe breaks down a quiet but powerful shift happening in mortgage marketing: AI is becoming the place consumers go for recommendations, not just information. As traditional search behavior evolves, Zeb explains why loan officers and agents must think beyond SEO and start positioning themselves inside AI recommendation engines. He walks through the economic forces behind the shift, why early adopters have a finite window of advantage, and the practical steps professionals can take now to become the name AI suggests when buyers are ready to decide. If search is changing from browsing to delegating, this episode explains what that means and how to stay ahead of it. DriveThruRPG is increasing its Print-on-Demand (PoD) prices again, effective February 1st, 2026. This follows a previous hike in March 2025 where US prices rose by as much as 50%. The new increase reflects rising costs for paper, materials, labor, and operations globally, with UK and Australia prices increasing by 3%, and US prices increasing by 4% (standard color) or 5% (premium color and black & white). Mantic Games is expanding its digital store and launching a new Print-On-Demand service for miniatures in the Vault. This new service allows customers without 3D printers to order selected Vault designs as physical printed models directly from the main Mantic Games webstore. They are also updating their Digital Store membership options and offering single STL file purchases. Hasbro is being sued by its own shareholders who allege that company executives breached their “fiduciary duties” by “overproducing Magic cards,” which is claimed to be “destroying the long-term value of the brand”. The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court of Rhode Island, claims that the overproduction occurred from 2021 to 2023 to cover shortfalls in Hasbro's balance sheet. Mythic Games hands Darkest Dungeon board game files to disappointed backers: Mythic Games, which entered liquidation in October 2025, was unable to manufacture or deliver the second wave of the Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game Kickstarter, originally due in November 2020. Red Hook Studios, the video game publisher, has now given permission for Mythic Games to share all project files, including rules and 3D models, with the failed crowdfunder’s backers. Empire of Bones is a Kickstarter campaign from Agamemnon Press. This is a JUMBO sized hexcrawl adventure that weighs in at twice the size of the Painted Wastelands. Your players can spend an entire campaign exploring 21 areas in The Unholy City of Zeb, a sickening and polluted city ruled by Necromancers and their mummified politicians. This week on Power House, Zeb Lowe sits down with Anthony Casa, President and CEO of UMortgage, for a candid conversation about what actually drives long-term success in the mortgage business. Anthony reflects on his decades in the industry, sharing why mentorship remains one of the most critical (and most overlooked) factors for loan originators. He explains how building early relationships with real estate agents compounds over time, why consistency matters more than short-term wins, and how earning trust is still the foundation of every successful career. The conversation also takes a personal turn as Anthony opens up about his own transformation, including sobriety and renewed focus on health and wellness, and how those changes reshaped his leadership style. He connects personal discipline to professional performance, arguing that sustainable success in mortgage lending starts with how leaders take care of themselves. Anthony and Zeb also dig into the industry's structural shift from retail to broker channels, discussing why compensation, flexibility, and culture are driving that movement—and how marketing strategies must evolve to support it. This episode is a grounded look at mentorship, leadership, and why the long game still matters in mortgage. Here's a glimpse of what you'll learn: Why mentorship is essential for new loan officers How early agent relationships compound into long-term success What Anthony's personal transformation taught him about leadership Why health and wellness matter in high-pressure careers How the broker channel is reshaping mortgage competition Why culture and autonomy attract top talent How marketing strategies should match individual sales goals Why consistency beats intensity over time How to succeed in today's market conditions Why earning trust still matters more than tactics The Power House podcast brings the biggest names in housing to answer hard-hitting questions about industry trends, operational and growth strategy, and leadership. The conversation explores why demand is shifting away from sprawl toward walkable, compact communities; how climate risk is reshaping development decisions; and why community engagement has become central to successful projects. David also offers practical guidance for investors and developers interested in transit-oriented development, emphasizing the importance of understanding both the public and private dimensions of place-making. We're challenging the conventional wisdom of ROI with three industry titans who discuss building resilience, culture, and high-tech expertise in any market. We sat down at ASTA 2025 in Raleigh with Matt Fanslow, Tommy Markham, and Zeb Beard to dive deep: - The Constableville Paradox: Hear from Tommy Markham about investing in full ADAS calibration equipment for a town that "has exploded to 300 people" and has no stoplights. His motivation? Simply "doing the job right" and ensuring local body shops don't have to flatbed cars 35 miles away. Tommy also stands firm on pricing, refusing the "$99 alignment dilemma." - The Zeb Beard Investment Strategy: Zeb Beard reveals why traditional ROI calculations are sometimes useless: you can "talk yourself out of buying anything". His massive 62,000 square foot shop (which once had clouds inside and includes nine bedrooms) is itself a "worldwide marketing tool." When in doubt, Zeb's famous advice is always: "Pull the trigger!" - Navigating Volatility: Since COVID, Zeb notes that business graphs now fluctuate wildly between record high months and record low months. The solution? Being resilient and focusing on "doing the right thing." The conversation also explores the balance between working in and on the business, the importance of continuous learning, and how authenticity and integrity keep shops resilient through economic swings. remarkableresults.biz/a455 https://astausa.org/pages/asta-expo Thanks to our Partner, NAPA TRACS NAPA TRACS will move your shop into the SMS fast lane with onsite training and six days a week of support and local representation. Directed by Jon Favreau and co-written with Dave Filoni, this high-stakes sequel to the Disney+ saga thrusts Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu into the fray of a fractured galaxy: the Empire's remnants clash with the fragile New Republic, enlisting the armored warrior and his pint-sized Force-sensitive apprentice for a pulse-racing mission that promises epic dogfights, lightsaber skirmishes, and clan-of-two loyalty tested to the brink.Analytic Dreamz breaks down the trailer's visual feast—the resurrected Razor Crest slicing through hyperspace, Grogu's adorable yet potent Force feats like levitating foes and zapping monsters with green sludge, and heartwarming glimpses of Baby Yoda swimming or tinkering with Anzellan allies under Din's watchful beskar gaze. He spotlights triumphant returns: Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios (voiced by Steven Blum) in full live-action glory, the irrepressible Babu Frik delivering "Good shot, baby!" quips, and a shadowy tease of Sigourney Weaver as enigmatic Colonel Ward, alongside Hutt cartel intrigue and rancor-like beast brawls that evoke classic practical-effects menace. Expect meaningful counters to Logan's healing and a global thriller feel. Tombstone casting locks in Marvin Jones III, a performer with the presence to anchor Spider-Man's street-level stakes without tipping into pure fan service. Mandalorian and Grogu looks like a pulpy, planet-hopping romp built for IMAX with classic imagery and bigger set pieces. Alien Earth nails mood and performances but ends the season too abruptly, landing closer to incomplete than cliffhanger. Gen V season two returns with sharp ideas about image and control, a compelling new dean, and messy human beats that set the table for a stronger mid-season run. Quotes “You're going to feel like you're playing a God of War-ish game.” “There are definitely things that can slow him down, and they're setting this game up to make every decision feel impactful.” “This looks like old adventure energy, the kind of poster that sparks your imagination.” “There's a difference between cliffhanger and incomplete. This felt incomplete.” “It's a bold but messy return for Gen V.” Call to Action If you enjoyed this episode, follow the show, rate us 5 stars, and leave a short review to help more geeks find us.
