Adapting to this cursed experience, Daniel shrouds every inch of his skin, lies about his profession, and sets rigid boundaries for Collette to keep her safe-all the while working to undo his fate. A curious and precocious Collette grows suspicious of her father's condition and whereabouts right when Macey, a Child Protection Services Officer, takes a keen interest in Collette's situation. Things come to a head when Collette discovers the truth about Daniel, causing their whole world to unravel. Written and directed by Benjamin Wong and produced by Elizabeth Ai, their passion project BA is an accumulation of real-life experiences being Asian-American, the struggles parenting, paternal love and sacrifice, as well as the reality that not all stories have a “Hollywood ending.” Both Benjamin and Elizabeth are parents with their respective partners, and a big part of the inspiration of this film came from not knowing what it means to be a parent when experiencing it for the first time and realizing how much parents are willing to sacrifice for their child. Star of the film, Lawrence Kao is a SoCal native that has been in the industry since he and his dance crew Kaba Modern took second place on MTV's “America's Best Dance Crew” in its inaugural season. From there Lawrence would go on star in projects including Netflix's “Wu Assassins,” the sequel film “FISTFUL OF VENGEANCE, CW's “Walk: Independence,” AMC's “The Walking Dead,” the CW's “The Originals,” TNT's “Franklin & Bash,” CBS' “Hawaii Five 0,” and MAX STEEL, to name a few. You may know him from his work in Bionicle: Mask of Light, SlugTerra, Lego Ninjago, My Little Pony, Johnny Test, and so many more. And not only do we talk a little about that, but also on probably the biggest role in my opinion, the voice of the one and only Vert Wheeler. The surf rat we have all come to know and love came to life because of Andrew's performance, and today you'll be able to hear what it was like working on the project, opinions on Vert Wheeler, and ambitions for future projects. The final lost episode and it should have stayed lost.
A man of duality, Tom Pinchuk has charted the adventures of world-famous kid heroes like Cartoon Network's Ben 10 and Mattel's Max Steel while also crafting mature audience comics for Heavy Metal Magazine, among other outlets. His recent graphic novel, Remember Andy Xenon, may reconcile these contradictions, at last. Tom has written for television, comics and everything in-between and, before moving to Los Angeles, dwelled everywhere from Singapore to Syracuse. He delights in obstacle races, escape rooms and in masterminding increasingly elaborate April Fools Day pranks. Awesome powers? Adventures all over the world? Andy Xenon was the boy hero every kid wished they could be! But then he turned 18 and those powers vanished. No more adventures. What happened? Why? Never getting any explanations, Andy resigned to life as a normal guy… and it's a quiet misery. Nobody believes he used to be Andy Xenon. People have moved on to new adventurers and, each year, fewer even remember Andy, at all...But one person hasn't forgotten. A journalist has tracked Andy down for a soul-searching interview. At last, he can set the record straight, review his reckless youth with hard-earned wisdom… and maybe figure out what went wrong. Is it too late for answers? Or can Andy earn a second chance? Remember Andy Xenon is anoff-beat journey of redemption. Sometimes the end of a story is only just the beginning.

In this superhero origin story and adaptation of Mattel's 15 year running cartoon, the world was treated to a live action Max Steel. With Hayden on suspension, Morgan, Mitch and Declan tackle everything about Andy Garcia's villainous Pacino-esque performance, and Ben Winchell's leading everyboy role. Directed by Stewart Hendler, this potato feels a bit like Transformers but struggles to properly target its tone and audience. After watching his dad work in special effects for years, Will Purcell started his career on a Chuck Norris film in 1984: Invasion USA. He went on to work on dozens of productions, including The Crow, Scream 5, Gerald's Game, The Strangers, Cabin Fever 2, Under the Dome, Young Guns, and Max Steel. He counts himself lucky, he says, because he plays for work. It's never the same old grind at the office, and he often makes it up as he goes along.

Giles Panton is Iron Man. No really! The busy voice actor can currently be heard voicing Iron Man in Marvel Battleworld: Mystery of the Thanostones. He also voiced Tarzan in Tarzan and Jane, and Clay Moorington in Nexo Knights, and can be heard in Max Steel, Last Kids on Earth, and the iconic My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Outside of the voice booth, Giles played Billy Turner, the Minister of Propaganda for the American Reich, in Amazon Prime's critically acclaimed dystopian series The Man in the High Castle, which was based on a Philip K. Dick novel first published in 1962. He also played Chris “The Waffle King” Smith on Chesapeake Shores, and has a sleigh full of Christmas movies in his filmography, including It's Christmas, Eve, Christmas on Holly Lane, A Godwink Christmas, Christmas Pen Pals, and A Gingerbread Romance. In this poignant and at times rollicking episode, Giles talks #cartoonlife, hot sauce, the startling parallels between The Man in the High Castle and the dumpster fire that is 2020, Christmas movies, heroes vs. villains, and the Barbie commercial that broke up his band.
