In this episode, Dr. Gibran Shaikh and I discuss the major players in healthcare, the skyrocketing costs, and issues of quality. We try to get to the bottom of terms like "single payer", "Obamacare/Affordable Care Act", and the pros of cons and each. We also discuss the miracle cures that are available at an ever-increasing rate, and challenges that doctors face in the hospitals. Thanks for being patient as we continue to work on our audio quality.
I USA sker det ett försök efter ett annat av Republikanerna att riva upp Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) till varje pris. Men varje gång misslyckas dom. Varför är det så? Dom har ju majoritet! Och vad är egentligen hela dealen med Obamacare? Varför hatar Republikanerna den?

This week on YBO we started by saying happy birthday to Dr. Martin Luther King and followed up with a silly one gotta go question. We answered our Question Of The Week and dipped into some celeb news, sharing Issa Rae's new YouTube show, why there will be a delay for season 2 of Atlanta, and the recent Black Girl Magic from the Golden Globes. Our guest this week was Plus Size Model, Shakeria Slade. She told us about her experience in the model world, modeling in Milwaukee, and gave some uplifting advice. Obama became the topic of discussion as we addressed his farewell speech and his love for Michelle. Following Obama, we discussed the GOP's effort to repeal Obamacare (Affordable Care Act). We also discussed Steve Harvey meeting with Trump and discussed D.L. Hughley's "F**k you now and f**k you forever” video about Trump. We ended the show with some funny twitter posts and questions, Reese's anon, and another “one gotta go”. As always, we got that empowerment of the week and a quote to inspire y'all. Check out episode 19! Don't forget to rate and review us on iTunes! Reese's birthday is on the 23rd; make sure y'all wish her happy birthday!
