Our WTF episode this month will look at a serial killer who gave himself his nickname, BTK, which means bind, torture, kill.

Are all the Christmas or Holiday or Birthday gifts you receive… surprises? So often we make lists of “wishes” and our family and friends grant those wishes, exactly. While this is incredibly generous and kind, it leaves out one of the best parts of opening a gift: the surprise. One year, I decided to start a family tradition and change things around with what I call the WTF gift. All year long we look for an item a particular person would love to have, yet when you remove its original packaging and give the gift wrapped, the receiver would have no idea what it was. Thus begins the game. When you unwrap this unpackaged gift, you think to yourself, “What the @#&% is this?!” and try to guess what it actually is. There's a timer and scoring too, so it doubles as a competition. Hilarity and stories ensue. Our WTF gifts have become a family-favorite event every Christmas now, with everyone trying to outdo the prior year. {My hot matcha tea almost came out of my nose this year from laughing so hard.}  Imagine, though, taking this crazy concept and applying it to other areas of your life… My special guest this week on the Storytelling School Podcast is a satirist who knows all about turning things on their sides. Finally, got some connection back! Surprisingly, one player who is reported to be on his way back to recovery is Caris Levert. Many, including us, felt it would take more time before he gets back into action considering the type of injury/illness he has had. But reports today came out that he will soon start practicing with the team and that will be music to the ears of Levert owners that stashed him. Another Pacer who has been in the INJ status, TJ Warren, on the other hand, is reported to be months away from returning. At this point, we think he should already be dropped as it looks like he will not be ready come fantasy playoffs. Kevin Love, well, what did you expect? Of course he is still not ready to return to action. Even if he does return, how reliable can he be? Our WTF player of the game, Seth Curry, is just struggling since he got COVID. We hope this slump is just a phase and he can slowly squeeze in some good games while he find his rhythm. But it looks like he won't get back to the pre-COVID Seth Curry early this season. Doug Lamborn is upset with San Francisco State University. What business is it of his? He claims federal dollars are being spent. How would he know? Cory Gardner is quiet about his receiving $24,000 from the JBS brothers. Will Cory be known by the company he keeps? At least, Michael Bennett had the common sense to return the money to JBS' PAC, whereas Cory is hiding somewhere. California is banning the internal combustion engine. Texas & Arizona are going for renewable energy?  What is the Expresso Supreme Court? RBG has a lot of accomplishments under her belt. Let's not forget them. Should she have retired 7 years ago? Hard to tell. None of us have a crystal ball. The Trump campaign is using Russian military aircraft in their ads. Shows you where his loyalty is. Bernie Sanders comes out with a strong message. We will ALL hear it?  Rural hospitals have hit another financial roadblock thanks to a poorly written law. Will Medicare withhold payments? Will more close putting a strain and an already overtaxed healthcare system? The South Dakota attorney general hits a deer. Or was it? Our WTF moment: The Pentagon taking money for masks and swabs and purchasing aircraft engine parts and body armor. Their excuses are inexcusable. 

We've got lots of grievances to unpack! The special kind of hell that is talking to your internet service agent, mask shaming, getting shit from people for not watching shows/movies (we GET it, you LOVED Game of Thrones until the last season!), and ridiculous Instagram bio's that need to be banned.
