Bracket Two gives us a couple of Brookses, a Butthole, a Colby, a comeback for Mrs. Burner and a now three season veteran who is still too young to legally rent a car. We get the ball rolling with a ball, but this episode is mostly Isabella holding court in the workroom, derailing the Ru-Sees and dueling with Tina before getting royally face-cracked on the runway by her old rival and daughter to be.Become a Matreon at the Sister Mary level to get full access to bonus episodes including brackets, movie reviews and past seasons of US Drag Race, UK, Canada, Down Under, Espana, Global All Stars, Philippines and more.Join us at our OnlyMary's level for our recap of Season 5 of Drag Race plus even more movie reviews, brackets, and deep dives into our personal lives!Patreon: www.patreon.com/alrightmaryEmail: alrightmarypodcast@gmail.comInstagram: @alrightmarypodJohnny: @johnnyalso (Instagram)Colin: @colindrucker_ (Instagram)Web: www.alrightmary.com

Our heroes are bringing Butthole to see Cormium Planteer! Butthole (Ryan LaPlante, @theryanlaplante) unknowingly turned his room into a magical Sanctuary, Juniper (Laura Hamstra, @lauraehamstra) had a break through with Cormium during their talk, and Quinny (Tyler Hewitt, @Tyler_Hewitt) used his potions and masks to hide everything charming about Cormium from Butthole. But what will happen when the prisoner talks with the king? Also featuring our awesome DM Tom McGee (@mcgeetd). Arguably one of the most notoriously named bands in rock history, Butthole Surfers made a career out of upending the establishment and irritating the easily annoyed. Their albums were abrasive yet tuneful, much like their live performances. Rising to the challenge of bottling these audible antics, Sunset Blvd. is prepping the release of Butthole Surfer's third live album, LIVE AT THE LEATHER FLY on May 9, 2025. Unearthed in the archives of Butthole history, the 21-track performance's origins are shrouded in mystery. The “where” or “when” it was recorded is debatable, but the band have created a mythos surrounding it. "Back in the ‘80s, Gibby [Haynes, vocalist/guitarist] used to fantasize about a nightclub called The Leather Fly. He wanted it to have a stuffed leather fly hanging in front of it,” reminisces Paul Leary (guitar/vocals/”art master”) about the illusory venue that this show was recorded. Our heroes are struggling with the Cormium problem! King Butthole (Ryan LaPlante, @theryanlaplante) visited Krendan who agreed to found the Ass Guard, Gartok (Laura Hamstra, @lauraehamstra) became Juniper and quickly lost patience with Cormium Planteer, and Quinny (Tyler Hewitt, @Tyler_Hewitt) bided his time waiting for Juniper to get even angrier. But what does Cormium really want to say to Butthole? Also featuring our awesome DM Tom McGee (@mcgeetd). The ten eliminated queens of Season 17 are back back back back again to battle it out for the title of She Done Already Done Had Herses, and while we're lacking a Megami to pray to or a shot of Morphine, these girls show their Butthole and prove whose King and give us a pretty good Toot while they're at it as they trick, dip, and flip their way to $50,000 in one of the most entertaining episodes of the season. Join Joe and David as they talk about their lip sync dreams, New York, backpacks, and why it takes a whole lot of clown to be a lesbian.

On this week’s episode of The Cobain 50, Dusty Henry digs deep into the two Butthole Surfers albums from Kurt’s list – Pee Pee The Sailor (also known as their self-titled debut EP) and Locust Abortion Technician. In one of the more expletive ridden artists on the list, we hear about the band’s story from underground legends to surprising mainstream success. Butthole Surfers pushed the envelope from just their name alone through their storied live performances and some of the most fiercely experimental and artistically free music of their era. All these ducks but not one Mighty Ducks or Daffy Duck or Donald Duck reference to be seen? Despicable! While David's off doing dope shit Joe and Steven are left to discuss Ross Matthews Vs the Ducks, a parody sketch where the girls of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17 perform a parody of the limited series Capote vs The Swans. That's right, we have a character named Butthole, and we're going to teach you about Truman Capote. Who said reality TV was trash?! Parodies upon parodies are done as Steven and Joe discuss John Cena's heel turn, the ravages of time, and more only on this episode of This Toxic Fandom. Download now and join the conversation!
The season has been no stranger to feuds, even passive aggressive ones started through mirror messages, but this week it's between the queens and a sombreroed Ross Mathews with a compromised larynx. Or is the feud really between director Cheyenne Jackson and his leading man/unofficial AD? Then of course there's Lexi vs Lexi's idea of Suzie, and apparently Sam and Lydia never liked each other? Lana's still fighting with her brand as she once again defies our very clear and well defined expectations of her on the runway. Meanwhile Onya nails it in the challenge and serves pizza on the runway, Jewels doesn't quite have the vernacular to master her monologue and the Butthole of the season has an unholy encounter with a pair of scissors. The girls are spiraling over a lineup for this week's Villains Roast, and plot twist, the biggest villain in the room is in their heads. Listen up, you magnificent weirdos—no great art happens alone. Whether you're making comics, painting, kitbashing, or building cosplay props, collaboration will take you further than you ever thought possible.I know, I know—every artist has thatcontrol freak mentality.“It's my vision! My story! My world!” But let me tell you something: even thebest of the best have someone in their corner. Jack Kirby had Stan Lee (whether he liked it or not), Eastman had Laird, and every single artist out there who's killing it today? Yeah, they've got an inker, a colorist, a writer, a letterer—a squad backing them up.So why are you out here trying to do everything yourself? It's simple:we're stubborn. Every comic creator, painter, filmmaker, or maker I know has this belief thatonly they can execute their vision perfectly. And while that's cute and all, it's alsothe fast track to burnout.I've been there. I've tried writing, penciling, inking, coloring, and letteringall on my own. And you know what I learned? That's a one-way ticket to misery, my friend. The indie scene is full ofamazing talent, but too many people fall into the trap of doing EVERYTHING themselves because they don't want to "lose control."But real talk? The best work happens when you trust someone else to bring something new to the table.Great art is like ajam session—it's about feeding off the energy of the people around you.Think about comics:Awriter gives an artist a script, and the artistbrings it to life.Acolorist takes those lines andadds emotion, depth, and energy.Aletterer gives the story itsvoice and rhythm. It's ateam sport, and when you find the right people, you'llpush each other to new creative heights.Think about Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier—Smith thoughtClerks was just a dumb indie flick, but Mosier pushed him tobelieve in his own work and go bigger. That's what collaboration does. Itchallenges you, hypes you up, and makes you better. Not all collabs aregood collabs. Some people are lazy. Some people are full of shit. And some people? Will push you to be better than you ever imagined. So how do you find them?✅ Look for people whogive honest feedback without being assholes.✅ Find creatives whochallenge your ideas but respect your vision.✅ Work with those whoactually do the work—not just talk about it.And most importantly?Put yourself in the mix. Find fellow creatives at cons, on Discord, Substack, Instagram—wherever your people are.The best collaborations happen when youshare the love. Stop hoarding your ideas like some kind of goblin sitting on a pile of unused brilliance.Reach out. Connect. Create. This week, I challenge you—find one person to collaborate with. A writer, an artist, a creator—team up and make something happen. And when you do? Hit me up. I wanna hear about it.

Episode 2166 of the Goin' Deep Show! Hosted by the one and only Kid A.G., alongside his partners in crime, New Red Eye and the returning Blood Siren. We kicked things off with a frosty start, discussing the perils of outdoor pissing in winter - beware the wazsicles! But the real meat of the show came with the promotion of the 'Prettiest Butthole in Michigan' contest. The mood shifted to a more reflective note with the 'Kids Suck' segment, where we pondered the existential dread of parenting, turning daily life into an autopilot of mundane tasks. The show took a turn for the spicy with a debate on the merits of spontaneous versus scheduled intimacy, followed by some offensive humor that had everyone in stitches (or possibly reaching for the cancel button). We then ventured into the land of obscure sexual terms, where creativity meets depravity in the most entertaining way. But let's not forget the artistic appreciation of cum as body art, discussing how a shiny ass under moonlight can change your perspective on things. Finally, we wrapped up with a dive into our latest pornographic explorations, highlighting the beauty of Spanish-speaking stars and the fun of animated mythical creature sex. Stay vulgar, stay shiny, and always remember: life's too short not to laugh at the absurd. Detailed Rundown: Welcome Back: Kid A.G. and the New Red Eye welcome back Blood Siren, diving straight into the deep end with discussions on crotch sniffing, outdoor pissing, and the perils of winter wazsicles. Butthole Bonanza: The crew promotes the 'Prettiest Butthole in Michigan' contest, with a stern warning not to involve your kids. Kid A.G. shares his parenting woes, which hilariously clash with his plans for the event. Kids Suck Segment: A heavy-hearted yet hilariously honest rant about the realities of parenthood and how it can turn your life into an autopilot nightmare. Cussing Kids Clips: Because nothing's funnier than kids swearing or getting themselves into trouble. The crew guesses what a kid is trying to say, leading to some laugh-out-loud moments. Spontaneity vs. Scheduled Sex: Kid A.G. argues for the thrill of spontaneous sex over the dullness of scheduling it, sparking a lively debate. Offensive Comedy: They play a clip about 'Foster's Home for Women in Their 30s with Personality Disorders,' leading to laughter and discussions about humor and offense. Obscure Sexual Terms: The show delves into some... creative sexual acts, ranging from the bathroom multitasking to the comedic 'Jerky Turkey'. Cum Fetishes: Blood Siren and crew share their appreciation for the aesthetic of shiny, cum-covered body parts under various lights. Porn Preferences: From post-orgasm torture to mythical creature porn, the hosts share their latest pornographic adventures, with a special shoutout to Spanish-speaking porn for its visual appeal. Recorded: January 21, 2025 On Mic: Kid A.G. Red Eye II, Blood Siren

This year has seen a boom in the worlds of women's sports and documentary films (and podcasting). So we invited the best point guard in the history of women's basketball (Sue Bird) and the best documentarian in the country (O.J.: Made in America's Ezra Edelman) for an in-person summit to discuss all of it. Plus: one-word answers from multi-hyphenates, wanting control, the good-faith mind games of talking to refs, the bad-faith ickiness of extracting controversy, the Billie Jean King of it all... and why the hard's not as hard, when you're doing the thing you were meant to be doing — even when it's hard. Ep. 147 BULLIED! Welcome back to another haunted episode of tea time. This week the honks unpack Wicked, boy moms and how they all hook up with their sons, reading mean comments on Instagram, being bullied for having a flat chest, being the only POC in a Mormon community and homeschooling your kids as a result, asking the age old question of “which parent would be more psychologically damaging to hook up with?” and unfortunately, so much more!
