Trump-Bukele Summit Highlights Deportation Standoff – El Salvador's president meets with Trump as the White House refuses to return a deported MS-13 suspect, despite a Supreme Court ruling. The broader message: mass deportation is the only viable response to the Biden-era migrant influx. U.S. Troops Return to Panama – In a major geopolitical move, America regains access to three former military bases and priority, toll-free access through the Panama Canal—infuriating socialist leaders in Central America. Chinese firms ramp up fraud to dodge U.S. tariffs, while Trump quietly gears up deep-sea mining to combat resource dependence. This week, AK and Laura unpack the disturbing descent into a world where the wealthy don't just rule, they consume. (sound familiar?...) Society (1989) is a film that is equal parts body horror and social satire that serves as both a grotesque allegory and an unnerving warning that still rings true today. With some WILD practical effects that still hold up to this day, this movie (especially the ending sequence) is NOT for the squeamish! We are THRILLED to announce that our next LIVE WATCH ALONG will be 4/25 in Indianapolis, IN! On this kidventure episode, two kids — Scarlett and Zach — talk about their disabilities and share their experiences with inclusion (on inclusive playgrounds and in other contexts). As Scarlett explains, inclusion "means that everybody can play, no matter your disability or how you walk or how you roll or anything like that."After a chat on Earth, the kids and Todd travel on the colors of the rainbow to the Land of Qook-a-lackas, where they meet a Qook-a-lacka friend, Quinnly, who is trying to figure out how the Qook-a-lackas and their new neighbors, the Link-a-doos, can play TOGETHER. The Qook-a-lacka's favorite sport, Quibble, is played on the ground with a big ball — while the Link-a-doos' favorite sport, Loop-a-launch, is played in the sky with a little bouncy ball. The kids and Todd help Quinnly to brainstorm a whole new game (Quibble Launch!), which has special rules and a two tier playing field that is perfect for the new neighbors to play together!Little Kids, Big Hearts was THRILLED to be joined on this episode by guest star Ali Stroker, who plays the role of Quinnly. Ali Stroker is a Tony Award winner for her role as ‘Ado Annie' in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! She made history as the first actor in a wheelchair to appear on Broadway in Deaf West's acclaimed revival of Spring Awakening and the first actor in a wheelchair to win a Tony. She was a series regular on the Netflix series, Echoes, and starred in the Lifetime holiday film, Christmas Ever After. Ali recurred in the final season of Netflix's Ozark and in Hulu's Only Murders in the Building. She co-wrote the novel, The Chance to Fly and its sequel, Cut Loose!; and she wrote the children's book, Ali and the Sea Stars. She was recently seen opposite Matthew Broderick in Babbitt at Shakespeare Theatre Company in DC and played 'Lady Anne' in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Richard III. She's performed her one woman show all over the country. Her mission to improve the lives of others through the arts is captured in her motto: “Turning Your Limitations Into Your Opportunities.”Sound design and mixing is by Ryan Marth, and the ukulele music you hear is by actor and composer Bill English. The Little Kids, Big Hearts team wants to say a big, public "THANK YOU" to Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration, the amazing organization that helped us find the brilliant, insightful kids who appear on this episode, Scarlett and Zach. Scarlett and Zach played — and met "buddies" — on inclusive playgrounds created by this organization, which has built these sensory- and literacy-rich playgrounds in the US, as well as Mexico, Israel, Canada, Ecuador, Russia, Argentina, South Africa, Armenia, the Dominican Republic, and beyond. In this episode of The Milk Check, find out why some dairy producers may be eyeing the exit. Sarina Sharp, risk manager at Ag Business Solutions and the writer behind TC Jacoby's Weekly Market Report joins the Jacoby team this week. Sarina brings invaluable insights as we dig into critical topics like: Milk prices and financial stability: How long can dairy farmers survive with Class III prices dipping below $17? Supply chain shifts: How whiplash tariffs, changing federal orders, and fluctuating demand are affecting the U.S. dairy market. Bird flu and milk production: How the bird flu has changed U.S. milk production, and where it may strike next. Tune in to The Milk Check episode 75: Exit stage left: Why some producers are selling out while they can. If you like milk (and we know you do), then pour yourself a mug and tune in for insights on how to navigate this uncertain landscape and stay ahead in the coming months. Special Guest: Sarina Sharp, risk manager, Ag Business Solutions, and market analyst for the Daily Dairy Report The Jacoby Team: Josh White, vice president, dairy ingredients Ted Jacoby III, CEO & president, cheese, butter & dry ingredients Mike Brown, vice president, dairy market intelligence Gus Jacoby, president, fluid dairy ingredients & dairy support Intro (with music): Welcome to The Milk Check, a podcast from T.C. Jacoby & Company, where we share market insights and analysis with dairy farmers in mind. Ted Jacoby III: Welcome everyone to the March 28th, 2025, edition of The Milk Check, a T.C. Jacoby & Company podcast. It is my pleasure to welcome a couple of special guests to the podcast this week, first, Sarina Sharp of Ag Business Solutions and the Daily Dairy report. Welcome to the podcast, Sarina. Most of you know that Sarina is also the writer of the T.C. Jacoby Weekly Market Report, which we publish every Friday. Sarina, we're honored to have you join us today. More importantly, thank you for the partnership. I can't tell you how often I get compliments on the weekly report that you write for us, so thank you very much. Sarina Sharp: Thanks for having me. Thrilled to hear it. Ted Jacoby III: In addition, we have a few of our usual suspects: my brother Gus, head of our fluid group; Josh White, head of our dairy ingredients team, and I am excited to announce that Mike Brown, formerly of IDFA and Kroger fame, is joining the Jacoby team as our new vice president of Dairy Market Intelligence. Mike, I am excited to have you on the team, and I look forward to having you on this podcast as a regular presence. Mike Brown: Well, thank you, Ted. I'm delighted to be here. It's good to be back in markets and away from government regulation. I'm very excited about the opportunity. And Sarina, I am really looking forward to working with you. I've been a fan for decades now. Appreciate that opportunity to work with you as well. Sarina Sharp: Time flies. Ted Jacoby III: It sure does. So my first question is this. We've been talking for probably a couple of years now about the heifer replacements and the issue that's been evolving because many dairy farmers are breeding to beef simply because it's really hard to pass up $700 for a black cow rather than spending $3,000 to raise that calf into a heifer. But we're getting to the point where right now, for example, our traders that sell into the retail space, they're telling us demand's not that great. Those who are selling into the food service space are saying demand's not that great. Even our traders who export are telling us that Trump's rhetoric about tariffs is having an effect and making it difficult for us to export. In other words, demand is not that great on the horizon. Milk prices have come down. Class III price is probably going to be in the low 17s, maybe even into the high 16s in April. Are we getting to the point that we're starting to reach that line where dairy fa...

In this episode of The Living Artist podcast, it's story time. Well, sort of... Preston talks about the importance of reflecting on your past experiences in your art journey. This can be a tool to ground you in your own experience, reinforcing your roots, but also as a reminder of past learning experiences. What should you look for more of and seek out in the future? What should you remember to avoid? What is your individual story and what do you stand for as an artist? How do you use your "mistakes" as a catalyst for more creativity? These are just some of the things you can learn from reflecting on your past experiences in your art journey. Enjoy the episode! For more information on Preston M. Hey, Folks! Today on the feed we are THRILLED to be able to share with you the pilot episode of a new show we love. It's called called Introducing: Who the F**k Killed My Sister? Trust me when I say, this is great news for fans of Audio Drama Murder Mysteries. We're sharing the first episode, but the entire 8-episode first season is available to binge right now. The show is smart, funny and thrilling. It revolves around an amateur detective and reluctant true crime celebrity named Quinn. The story picks up a year after her sister's unsolved murder when Quinn finally gets her first big lead, which puts a target on her and everyone close to her. That's what I love about this show. It doesn't just set up an interesting mystery. It succeeds in delivering answers to all of the questions it raises. You can find and listen to Introducing: Who the F**k Killed My Sister anywhere you listen to podcasts. A darkly comedic murder mystery podcast telling the story of Quinn Reynolds, a reluctant true-crime celebrity with a violent past. One year into investigating her sister's murder, Quinn finds her first major lead — reigniting bitter feuds with the media, law enforcement, and an unhinged group of conspiracy theorists.
